Not only did he handle business and read the crowd like a champ, he was flexible, pleasant, and friendly with everyone. The music was perfection! It was like a 4 hour sing and dance-a-long all night. Feedback from our guests was also exceptional. Of course their dj was fantastic, great song selection curated by Sue based on the crowd we described. Dance floor stayed full and everyone had fun. Dj led a wobble lesson and everyone joined in. Our Families are not much for dancing, at all. In fact when we hired Tommy we were just expecting some background music for our event, what we didn't expect to happen was for our families getting up to dance. His personality loosened up the crowd, and had everyone having a blast. People were constantly coming up to us asking where we found Tommy, and stating that he was doing an awesome job. People, this mans charm, charisma, and musical talent had my shy mother doing the "Apache". That's the sign of a great DJ. If you are looking for a DJ then you definitely need to give Tommy a try. Everything that follows is my personal opinion of the events on my wedding evening:…read more I cannot imagine a ruder, less-skilled DJ exists anywhere in the world. I went out of my way to edit a perfect playlist for my wedding. I took one of Scott's extensive playlists and edited it down to 170 songs we would like to hear. I also selected several songs which weren't on the playlist and asked that he have those songs before my wedding. I believe there was possibly an email mix-up at this point which is why these songs weren't available upon request. Regardless, I sent this information to him in a series of emails, weeks in advance. He responded to me and acknowledged that he'd understood what was sent to him. So imagine my surprise when, on the night of my wedding, he began to play modern pop and rap selections when every song on my list was an oldie. It took me several songs to realize he wasn't playing requests, he was just playing music that I had not included on my list. And I knew he must have seen the list because I sent it to him in an email a month early and because he responded to other emails. And my mother sent him the list as well, also a month early. I finally had to go over to him, take time out from MY night, to tell him to play music from the list I'd sent. And he replied, "I never got any list." HE RESPONDED TO MY EMAILS, which indicates to me that he obviously GOT THE LIST. Trying to keep my cool I simply asked him, "Well, please don't play anything from any time later than the 90s unless it's a request. Go back to playing from your oldie playlist." And you know what he did, right as I walked away? He started playing "Apple Bottom Jeans" right as I walked away. In my opinion, I cannot imagine more of a rude person. I can't understand why he decided ignoring me was the best course of action. How could he listen to me, the person who is PAYING him, tell him what music to play and then flat out ignore it? I was so offended at that moment and felt like he was terrible at his job. He had one job, to play the music I chose. He failed to do this simple thing. I can't even understand how he was, in my opinion, incapable of providing the service we requested. He also made awkward comments at my guests who were dancing through the microphone and believed that "ear numbingly loud" was a good volume for the music. In general, he was the worst possible DJ I could have imagined and I'd have done a better job with my iPod than he did for hundreds of dollars. His website promises not to be cheesy but this guy was nothing but cheese.

I would have him DJ again and have recommended him to other people as well and have friends that have used him for their special occasions. And have raved how great he is.Sound system was great !
