There's 1/4 of the space there used to be for dishes and glassware. They replaced their tall metal racks with awful low rise shelves. In addition to holding less material it's extremely hard to see anything on the shelves especially the lowest ones. So much of the space that was reserved for china and glassware is now filled with awful IKEA baskets and plastic garbage. I'm very disappointed. I know of many regulars and students who went here for the glassware and China. They're shooting themselves in the foot by removing most of it.

I would note though that parking in Brookline is treacherous to say the least. So I would recommend going early to any business in Coolidge Corner. I also noticed that during my visit the store was particularly warm even with a AC on. I realize some of the building's in Brookline have existed for many years and things like HVAC or probably a nightmare to upgrade. I think incorporating some industrial fans towards a front of the store could help alleviate this issue and make the shopping experience in the summer months more pleasant.
