She's apparently an owner who opens and closes when she feels like it. I walked 45 min to come to this "amazing" antique store only to find it closed. No hours posted on door. She has mail stuffed in the bars in her door that make it appear she hasn't been open for days. Hugely disappointed but I learned a lesson to always call these small places that aren't made to follow hours.

Instead, Garment D. Is Organized, spotless and straight-up vibey. Two full floors to roam. Hot-pink walls, black-and-white checkerboard floors like stepping into an 80s music video. It's quirky, loud and proudly vintage. Everything's sorted with precision: pants with pants, denim with denim, tops with tops. These folks don't play around. And yeah, the majority of the clothing here is all use. But like I always do- I buy my stuff, take it home (or the cleaners), wash it and it snaps back looking like new. By the way- they do carry some new items- as in not used as well. My daughter and I bought some vintage denims, sweaters and a few other things. Zero mess. Zero stress. 100% unexpected.

This market was stacked with jewelry, prints, clothing, cameras, vinyls, and so much more. The layout is a little overwhelming and hard to navigate with large influxes of shoppers, however, it does force you to stay put a bit and do a bit more digging in sections. The staff was super friendly, especially the gentlemen who checked me out. I ended up going with this $10 Charlie Brown coloring book page from the 60s which is a great deal!

My friend is an avid thrifter and she immediately knew this store was legit. A lot of stores claim to be thrifty and vintage but sell mass produced clothing brands. This one had very unique pieces, the items were priced fairly, and among the chaos, there was some order to where things were placed. Some of the sections belong to different people so definitely make your way around the entire store. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. I could spend hours here, but we had other things on our agenda so we window shopped for a bit, but will eventually be back to purchase some items.

It can be a bit of a mess in the hallways but I guess that's the allure of antiques. The sellers are all rather friendly and will talk about anything antiques, even if you're just browsing (though I ended up with a vintage cookbook). It's a more chill environment, as the sellers all socialize with each other. There's one seller that specializes in paintings as well as Asian art. Some sellers will negotiate, as they go through a lot of goods. Nice spot to go for a browse if you're in the area. The operating hours outside of Saturdays can be spotty.
