Was in the area working and needed a place to workout. there wasn't much in Cozad where I was staying that had 24 hour access but I found Nebraska athletic club, which was 40 min away, but well worth the drive. Tommy V was kind enough to offer me a few days to come in and workout for free. The gym is very nice and spacious with plenty of equipment and free weight. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend checking them out! read more

I was passing through the area and the fitness center at the hotel I was staying at didn't have a lot of options so I found Nebraska Athletic Club and called the number provided for a day pass at 5 am on a Saturday morning. I left a message to see if I could get in and they called me right back. He was very nice. He unlocked the door and walked me through everything. The gym has everything you could want! What a cute little place! I'm in town for the weekend from Denver and needed a place to workout at. It's family owned and operated. Open 24/7. On weekdays they're staffed from 9-6. After regular business hours and on weekends just call the number on the sign out front and they can buzz you in! Day passes are $8. Super affordable for an entire gym nearly to myself! And they have everything you'd need in a giant warehouse! They've got new and old equipment. The free weights are pretty old and grimy but that's why I loved them! A large array of cardio machine, a huge space in the middle for cross fit and of course free weights and others, plate loaded and not. Resistance bands, ab rollers and foam rollers. They have bathroom and a shower space for men and women. It's a great place for a great price! If you need a good sweat, go check this place out! :) read more

The best gym ever. I've literally never had so much fun working out. The staff is amazing, and so welcoming. If you have questions about how to use equipment or do a certain exercise, they are happy to help. Absolutely the best gym in town. Open 24/7 and on Monday- Thursday there are funky classes to take with exercises and equipment you have never seen anywhere else. It's such an amazing and nonjudgmental environment. Seriously, you can go look around town, but you won't find a gym like this ANYWHERE, much less in North Platte. :) 5 stars! More if I could! read more

What a great gym! We are just passing through on a road trip and needed a place to move our bodies for a little while. Nebraska Athletic Club had everything we needed- lots of cardio equipment, free weights, and weight machines. We went during what I suspect is the busiest time of the day (between 5-7pm) and while there were people working out, it didn't feel too crowded. Many of the patrons knew each other and the staff was incredibly friendly! The young man up front even came to find me to tell me I left my lights on in the parking lot! I saw a class going on and learned they have a couple classes during the week. I also noted personal training availability. There is a sauna and tanning available, though I didn't use either. They also had some merchandise for sale. Other tips: There are televisions and you need a radio headset to be able to tune in, if you like that. The showers are clean and feel homey. Overall, I'm very happy with my evening spent at Nebraska Athletic Club. I love a quality, locally-owned business! I think if we lived here it would be a great place to have as our gym! read more

10/10 experience! I travel to North Platte a few times a year for business and I will never visit any gym other than the Nebraska Athletic Club! All the equipment you could ever need is here and not only that but the gym is spotless! I had the pleasure of meeting Katie and the owner Tommy! Both treated me like a vetted patron which feels so good being away from home! Tommy even gave me a call to make sure I got in okay. Excellent customer service for sure. Great gym. Tons of cardio machines, huge area for free weights and some weight machines in the middle of everything. They've got tanning facilities if you're into that, and a nice shower that's great if you work out in the morning. I been going to this gym since I moved to North Platte. This gym has a large selection of equipment and the trainers are very dedicated and knowledgeable. Since joining I have dropped 20 lbs and the last time I was in this good of shape I was in high school. That's saying a lot since I'm over 60 years of age. read more

Hands down best gym in Nebraska and you can believe it because i have been to tons of them. They even have the ability to let you in without staff here by calling in and they unlock the door remotely. They have all equipment you could ever need at a very responsible rate for both daily pass or monthly membership. This is the only place i go when i am in the area. read more

My husband and I did not like this gym. The cardio machines, weight machines, and everything else in this gym is old and out of date. We cancelled our gym membership and I can't wait to find a better gym in town! read more
