To make a long story short, Tires Plus, on 132nd and Maple told me this Ford Escape of my daughter's which I had just spent a bunch of $$ at Tires Plus to put a new AC compressor in and recharge a few weeks ago now needed more work. But, when we tried the AC on warm days and even the day after leaving the place the first time after the repair it was not throwing any cold or even cool air out. When I took it back in, assuming it was under warranty from 3 weeks before, they said it now needed a new evaporator coil. The cost? $1600. I took the car back and took it to Kurt at Acme. He and his mechanics checked out the whole AC system to find out it was only a fuse and now the AC is working great and Acme did that at minimal cost. I will keep bringing my cars to Acme. All I needed was routine repairs (not mods), but I wanted a shop that understood mods to do the work. This turned out to be a great call because my dual battery setup became part of the work. Great customer service. The guys in the front and the mechanics in the back all know what they are doing. These are enthusiasts in offroad mods, which means they're in it for the love of the work rather than seeking to squeeze every dime out of you. Needed a brake check, work done on my factory lighting, and a general inspection of the suspension.Great advice and they did a thorough job. Not overpriced. Highly recommended!!!

To come to the point - I went to Gateway on the opposite end of town from me, to look at another vehicle that ended up not being a good match for me, but, next to it was a Honda Pilot, little older, with some miles. Vehicle had some moderate work done yet, Ben offered this information without my even asking. Try getting THAT somewhere else!!! Perfect vehicle for my needs. Love it! Now it's time to talk money and I meet Ben, the co-owner and main sales force. The vehicle seemed to need a couple minor things to help make me comfortable with the purchase, and these were done, WITH a LOANER car, thanks to Ben. Dave at the front counter is Ben's right hand man, and very capable. Every employee I bumped into or interacted with at Gateway was at minimum professional, and as I understand it they are all ASE certified! Between them all, the agreed minor repairs were completed, my full smile installed, deal struck. A good deal. In closing, now many hundreds of miles later, my vehicle is running and behaving perfectly. I bought this at a fair price and Dave and Ben did what they said they would do, and did so respectfully and promptly. They handed me information NO used car seller would ever do, and kept their promises. I would not recommend anyone buy a used vehicle before looking at what Gateway has to offer. I bought a new 2025 Bronco in Ruby Red and wanted the two front windows tinted to match the rear. Stopped in to make an appt today, and Jesse was still there and still a great guy. Not overly bright, but a great guy. His other employee thinks he's a gym rat. He's pretty bright, but bores you to tears, so be warned. BUT, all in all, I WON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE to get my windows tinted! Jesse was able to have his tint man do the job today, and it makes the ruby red metallic paint really stand out. If you want quality tinting, go nowhere else but Inphase. Fair price and great customer service. I'm thinking I may one day get Jesse's help with some auto sound upgrades, too!

This car wash is a joke. I don't even know where to begin…read more The wash bays are filthy and I'm talking everything is gross. In the bay one sign says $2.50 to start the wash one says $3.50. You pop quarters in and sometimes they don't register( I lost at least a $1.00 to this) tire wash and wax both seemed to not produce any cleaning chemical. Outside at the vacuum station multiple ones are out of order. This place should be avoided, just keep driving to the next car wash if smart!
