The location is in a great spot and the building is very clean and kept proper. The only complaint I would have is that I had to sit for quite awhile in the waiting room before my apointment. Dr Fedoretz was very kind though and made great conversation while I was getting my dental work done. Overall super happy with university dental. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. This is absolutely my neq dental office from now on and my husband and I will also be taking out children there because it is just that great!! So happy I found them!

Prior to her, I had some doozies of a dentist ( one who told me I had a rotten tooth and it needed pulling. I still have that tooth and it is in great shape ). Another dentist I had told me in 5 yrs I will need dentures ( I still have all my teeth ). So when I went to this office, I was apprehensive. Long story short... she saved the tooth. Since then she is the only dentist I would ever trust to work on my mouth. Her staff are amazing and take great care with their patients. Her practice has expanded quite a bit but the service is still the same. they tell you straight out and do not recommend any work that does not need to be done. If I could recommend a dentist, it is this practice. And that my friends is the tooth and nothing but the tooth !

Had three bad experiences…read more First. Had a regular check up and cleaning done, everything went well. After we were done I was put into a side room full of merchandise and was trying to be talked into buying a very expensive electric toothbrush. I kept saying I would think about it, after about 5-10 mins trying to push this product in me they finally stopped and took me to pay my bill. Second time I needed a retainer replaced for my front bottom teeth. Thought everything went well till a couple of hours later I started getting a very bad headache. Thought nothing of it. After a couple of day I went back to get the retainer readjusted. Took two separate visits till it was done right, instantly the headaches went away. About a month later the retainer broke off of my tooth and cut my tongue, so I took it out myself and threw it away. My third visit was for a cleaning and check up. All went well till the billing. They put I through and as I was about to leave I checked to see what they charged me for. Two procedures on the bill they didn't do, X-rays and fluoride. I brought this to their attention and I was told, "we'll get you next time". I believe that is insurance fraud, but what ever. Let's just say I found a new dentist in the area. Super happy now.

I…read morehave been living in Edmonton for over 15 years and have still been travelling back to GP to visit my dentist until now... I think that speaks volumes. I needed to find a dentist I was comfortable with; my kids were comfortable with and that I didn't feel like I was being ripped of by seeing as there are no dental fee guidelines in Alberta yet (they are working on it). I have definitely found that here at the Heritage Dental Centre. They treated us well and I felt welcomed which is what I was looking for in a dental office - not just a patient; not just a number but someone they cared about after all they are looking after my health and well being. The hygienist took care of us and the dentist made sound suggestions for care - whether that was a filling for one child or waiting to see what happens with the other. My middle one needed wisdom teeth removed and he suggested a place to go and I had no hesitation about taking his suggestion has I was happy with his work. I will be coming back here for sure. Plenty of free parking but it was also close to the LRT for my oldest who needed to meet us here after university. Plus they took care of insurance and are open late for even more convenience. Really, what more can I - or anyone else, ask for?

I would definitely recommend both of them. I have a very low tolerance to tooth pain, which makes me very anxious going to the dentist. They assured me that it will be painless (which it was) and explained to me everything that I need to know. Both of them are very straightforward and would answer all my questions without feeling like they are rushing you. Kudos to the everyone at Smiles.

I have been going to this office for at least 6 years as far as i remembered. Usually, I have a…read moresmall cleaning appointment followed by a full cleaning, x ray, polish and flourides 6 months after, to ensure my dental health and max out my insurance coverage. Though, on May 1st 2024, when i went in for my "small" cleaning appointment, the hygenist informed me of 0% coverage on polish and flourides, 50% on gum measurement and 100% on scaling. Based on this information, I opted for scaling and gum measurement. However, I was informed after the procedure that my insurance only covered 50% for scaling and 0% for gum measurement. The receptionist then stated the hygienist doesnt have the access to see how much it costs for each procedure as well as the coverage, so there's no way the hygienist would have given me a breakdown to begin with, which indeed happened. Two days later, I received a call from their office. One of the ladies who looks after the insurance policy told me that she confirmed with this hygenist that she indeed give me a breakdown and it was 50% for scaling and 0% for gum measurement, which is now in line of the entire dental office. But how is that possible now because the receptionist previously stated that there's no way this hygenist could have told you that because of her lack of access as of two days ago on May 1st, 2024. Right after the phone call, I went to talk to them in person, because this lady who I had spoken to was very nonchalant and condescending over the phone, where I had to stopher by saying "I am not finished talking yet". Upon entering the office, they invited me to a small office, which I refused and insisted on sharing my experiences right at the front desk. Not going to lie, I was upset, but I was no where near yelling at anyone despite of their unprofessionalism and carelessness. This entire time, the insurance lady acted like a victim and had a crying face in front of everyone. It is when the owner, who's also the dentist came out started citing on their harassement and abuse policy against patients like myself, so I left. Just to be clear, we are allowed to be angry and frustrated, but it is despicable to be harassing or abusing anyone. At no time had I imposed any threats or used course and harsh languages on anyone when I was there. Five mins after I initially left I went back as I felt incredibly wronged and would have liked at an attempt to speak to the owner directly and calmly, she she distinctly rejected at the front door. Be very careful of this office. They will verbally give you a quote to trick you into thinking you are covered then they will glad charge you whatever once the treatment is complete. I ended up paying for my mistake, which I should have said no to until the issue or the confusion was at least clarified or resolved.

It is bad clinic to heal your tooth but excellent if you want to just delete all tooth. Also their main doctor (who deletes tooth) like throwing stuff at clients for example Apple Ipad. How about that? You go to clinic and if you not accepting their "KIND" offer to just delete tooth they will throw something heavy at you. Wish every employee there get the same service thousand-folds back.
