I've gone here for years, it's the best salon in town by far. The other review is poor, sounds like a crotchety old hag to me. All of the stylists are talented, well educated, and have gone through an extensive training program before they take clients. Drago, Michele, Courtney, and Stephanie are all top notch stylist, as good as they get! I know because I've been lucky enough to have all of them as stylists. Barbara, the manicurist, is amazing!!!! Pricing is average, you're not walking into super cuts so don't expect that pricing! You get what you pay for. read more

My office manager, a native of the area, recommended this place to me when I decided to cut my hair recently. It was a very good recommendation. I loved the atmosphere of the salon and my hair dresser (Melea...sp?) did exactly what I wanted even though I was rather vague! I also thought 35 dollars for a wash, cut, style/dry was very reasonable. Cheaper than salons in Reno. I look forward to my next appointment. read more

They got me in at the last minute on a Saturday for a massage with Irene. She was fantastic- taking care of my problem/injury areas, asking for feedback on deep tissue pressure and discomfort and still creating a relaxing experience- at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend! read more

This salon is outstanding! Talented stylists and high quality product. Both Jessica and Donna have colored and styled my hair, both of them do beautiful work. Jessica is amazing with color and curled my hair better than any stylist I have ever experienced, and Donna did the most stunning job toning my blonde into a gorgeous cool ash. Jesicca did a cut and color and pre wedding updo for my daughter mattie before her wedding, awesome job. We hired her to come to the wedding venue to fix the brides hair and makeup and mine ( mother of the bride) as well. What a treat...i never felt better and my daughter looked natural and stunning. Needless to say the room was full of very loud girls and a photographer but that didnt phase jess one bit.... We could not be happier! read more

A brides worst nightmare! I was upfront with my request and my understanding that it was okay if we needed to work together to make the hairstyle I wanted happen. I completed a trial with Jessica Ream and she informed me she would work on the skills she needed to gain to complete the hairstyle I wanted for my wedding. She said nothing during the first trial about uncertainly of being able to execute the hairstyle just that she needed to practic. During my second trial, she had not done what she said she was going to do and learn some foundational skill on how to do a formal updo (meaning hot curlers & product usage). I left the second trial with practically nothing done to my hair except a little teasing. There was no offer at the time to not charge me for the trial since she did not execute an updo or learn the skills she said she would. I paid and we agreed she would practice and figure out how to execute my hairstyle by the time by third trial was scheduled. Then, after writing to confirm this, she bailed on the third trial and the wedding! I now have no time to find another hairstylist. She TOTALLY screwed me. To top it all off, there was still no offer of a refund! I was instructed to call the owner. When I called the owner, Drago, he was an pompous ass, nothing but insulting, and was not willing to provide any customer service. I would caution anyone to use this company or this novice of a hairstylist unless you're okay with meaningless words and poor customer service. read more

Wanted to get a massage for my wife. Drago's got her in on a Saturday even though I called on a Thursday. They quoted me the price and it was cheaper then most other places in town. I booked her for an hour. She came home and said it was great. I have never received a massage, but I plan on getting one. Thanks for making the wife happy!! read more

Love it here! I'm so very picky with my hair and I had long brown dull hair and was ready for a change! Donna did an awesome job on my now medium length balayage hair! Being new to the area I was worried about trying new salons. I had tried one salon and left with the complete opposite of what I wanted and that scared me even more. Thank God I found Dragos Salon though. I went in to see Stephanie and told her about my horrific experience at the last salon and she worked wonders making my hair look amazing and bringing back my confidence. After avoiding having my hair cut for several years, I was really hesitant to go for a haircut at a place where I did not know it. However, the hair cut that I received was exceptional. The hair stylist did an initial consultation and without much explaining on my part was able to gauge exactly what I wanted. I have had 2 visits for a hair color and cut and have been seeing Donna. She is just starting out there and have been very happy with her service. The salon is very nice, good customer service. I don't have a complicated hair style so a quick trim is all that's needed. Coming from out of state, she matched my color very well. Going to try their manucurist in a couple of weeks, there is one person, who gets booked easily. Looking forward to trying that service. They also do facials, have not tried those yet. read more

After reading the reviews on Yelp I decided to give this place a try. I went in for a hair color and trim and came away very happy with the results. Donna was my stylist and she did an awesome job covering up my varying shades of gray. The pricing was very reasonable for the service I received. I also liked the cleanliness of the work stations.
