What a sweet spot!! I got the Dragon Fruit Kratom Tea... sooooo so yummy! Joseph was very informative and a huge help when It came time for us to order. He explained all the strains and flavor's and the Tea was Ahhhh-mazing! Really nice atmosphere, clean, really good energy, modern. I'll be back soon. It's definitely one of the best Kava/Kratom bars I've tried in all of South Florida! I'd highly recommend checking this spot out! You won't wanna leave and you won't be disappointed! Yum!!

Love that place... friendly staff and tasty drinks! I love the guava goddess. They also have a nice selection of other drinks you can try depending on what you are in the mood for.

Kavatenders are always so nice, always so helpful and attentive to your needs. Its such a nice environment, they're pet friendly, have an awesome aesthetic for pictures, and they have so many other products other than kava like food, snacks, coffee, flavored shots, they have their hookahs, nectar lab merch, and even delta-8 products. And obviously, their drinks are amazing, each drink of it's own is so unique and something for everyone to enjoy. Great hangout spot, never had a problem with customers or employees, truly my favorite kava bar.

The thai chili sauce had no spice to it, so it was overly sweet. I also ordered the Hooking Peaches drink (an $18 drink) & the menu said it was garnished with a peach slice-however, when I received my drink it was garnished with an orange slice. No apologies or explanations for this-and the drink did not taste as if there were any Ketel One at all in it! For the main course, I ordered the Hooked Oscar with a side salad with ranch dressing and garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes were really good. The salad, though a large portion, was bitter and the dressing tasted watered down. I could not finish it. The Hooked Oscar is mahi mahi-so a light tasting fish with a house hollandaise and lump crab meat on top ($34 dish). The hollandaise sauce was very white in color and tasted very bitter-there must not have been any butter in it. The fish was supposedly blackened, but just looked like some seasoning was put on top because there was no flavor to it at all. My husband ordered the Surf & Surf ($36 dish) with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. His dish looked nothing like the menu and his sauce, listed as a champagne sauce, was the same as what was on top of my dish. Overall, for $112 plus tip, this meal was not worth it.

First, the food was great. We tried the mushroom burger, the smash burger, and a quinoa bowl, and everything was really good. The burgers were flavorful and satisfying, and the quinoa bowl made us feel like we were making at least one responsible life choice that day. But the real star of the show was the self-serve beer tap wall. They give you a wristband, you tap it on the machine, and pour whatever beer you want. Then you just pay for exactly how much you pour. Which sounds responsible... until you realize you can try a little bit of everything. We ended up sampling several different beers because it was just too fun not to. Tons of variety, and everything we tried was excellent. The only suggestion I'd have: it would be amazing if there was a small tasting station so people could try. When there are that many options, choosing can feel like a very serious life decision. Overall though, great food, a really fun concept, and a cool atmosphere. 10/10 would absolutely come back... mostly to "responsibly" test more beers.

I placed an online pickup order through the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar website at 12:32 PM using their…read morepreferred ordering platform, ChowNow. The order was prepaid and included a 20% gratuity. After parking and walking to the restaurant, I received a text message at 12:47 PM stating that my order had been canceled and refunded because the restaurant could not make the order. Assuming this must have been an error, I still went inside and waited in line to explain what had happened. When I reached the counter and calmly explained the situation, several staff members immediately chimed in saying things like "I was watching and no orders came through." At that point it became clear that the order likely had not been acknowledged on their end and was automatically canceled after 15 minutes. Despite the fact that the order had been placed directly through the restaurant's own website and had already been prepaid with gratuity, there was no apology and no effort to resolve the situation by making the order. Instead, the staff member at the register told me that "ChowNow always doesn't work" and that I should have called the restaurant instead. That response was surprising considering the order was placed through their official website, which directs customers to use that exact system. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to step out of line. When the manager arrived, the interaction unfortunately got worse. Before I could finish explaining the situation, he interrupted with "Are you going to let me talk now?" and proceeded to repeat that none of this was the restaurant's fault. There was still no apology and no attempt to remedy the situation by simply preparing the order that had already been placed. What made the experience particularly disappointing is that this location has been one I've visited many times over the years. Mistakes happen in any business, and an online ordering system failure is understandable. What is not understandable is the complete lack of basic customer service and the unwillingness of management to take ownership of the problem or attempt to fix it. A simple apology and an offer to make the order would have resolved the entire situation. Instead, the response from both staff and management was dismissive and defensive. Unfortunately, that interaction has turned what had been a frequently visited restaurant into one I will not be returning to.

What makes Mango Rita's so special is the incredible lineup of tribute bands they bring in every week. If you grew up on the music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s like we did, this place is a dream. We've seen amazing tributes to bands like KISS, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe and more--and the quality of the bands is outstanding. In fact, the shows are so good that we sometimes plan our trips to Fort Myers around which bands are playing! Beyond the music, the atmosphere is fantastic and the crowd always seems to be having a great time. It's one of those places where everyone is there to enjoy the music and have fun. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, J.J. and her husband, and hearing their story. They previously owned one of the largest nightclubs on the East Coast in Maryland before bringing their passion for live music to Fort Myers Beach. After Hurricane Ian destroyed their original location, they rebuilt their vision further inland--and we're so glad they did. They're a wonderful couple and you can tell how much heart they put into this place. If you love live music, especially classic rock and iconic bands, Mango Rita's Rhythm Room is an absolute must-visit.
