I've used them for years by force of habit with little issues here and there, poor scheduling, leaving a mess at my house...I'm on some semiannial plan now that I don't even remember signing up for. This company is terrible - very unprofessional and now they send me a letter demanding payment with a collection agency. I terminated service and call numerous times. I told customer service and sales to STOP calling me weekly. They continued to send the crew to my house even when i told the manager to STOP. High pressure sales tactics - terrible customer experience. I will be reporting them to the state attorney general, better business bureau and NJ consumer affairs. After one cleaning, we had cancelled any further services. They have been coming still, and continuing to charge for unwanted services. Called and cancelled any further services AGAIN and now they are threating to place a lien on my house for failure to pay for services . This is my last time telling Ned's... We had our gutters cleaned by this company. The first time they showed up at our home, they did not text us until 10 minutes before pulling into our driveway.The staff were not able to communicate with us clearly and they left. Please note:this company does not schedule appointments, they give you a time /date-range "window" and tell you that they will text before the appointment which is ridiculous. Finally our appointment was rescheduled, they cleaned our gutters and left two bags of leaves for us to discard. We were told that they do not take the garbage with them which is unacceptable for the money they charge. We will not use this company again. read more

Had my gutters repaired to stop water overflow. Unfortunately they did not do a good job as the overflow is bad. They even cam out a second time but did not fix the problem. I went up to make sure there were no obstructions and there were none. Very disappointed with the results. It rained again and huge overflow puddles on an patio. read more

If you like techs that take months to show up & being sold a "diamond package" by a pushy salesperson when you try to complain about it, this is the company for you. That was the glorious start to my Ned Stevens experience. Imagine not showing up to work for 2-3 months and then asking for a raise!?!? As we say in Jersey "I got your diamond package right here!" The latest insult: after service (can't wait until the contract is up) I received a door tag telling me there is an issue. When I called I was told "all of the gutters are off pitch & need to be replaced". When I told him my house has 5 separate runs of gutter (2 of which I replaced personally 3 months ago) I was told "no sir- they are all connected". This is after I told him I was literally looking at my gutters while we were speaking. I explained to him 4-5 times that they aren't all attached only to be talked over repeatedly. He then said the wouldn't send a tech to do a quote because they have a picture of the house. Absurd. In short I will be looking elsewhere for someone to replace the remaining 3 runs of gutter that actually need to be done. No thanks, Ned Stevens. You need to do better. read more

This place was recommended by two friends. I should've went with my gut and reviews I've seen but I didn't. Now I know to go with my gut. I filled out a form online. They called immediately. I missed the call and called them back. Than I said hold on and I accidentally hung up on them. That should've been a sign to not hire them, but I hadn't cleaned my gutters in many years. They kept trying to call me back and I ended up calling them back. They quoted $179 + $5 safety fee + tax. They tried locking me into a 4 cleaning contract for $139/visit paid in Full. I declined. Then they tried locking me into the same contract but pay per visit at $159. I declined. I was promised a text before coming out and a door tag that the job was done and any suggestions. I got neither. Family run business? They must not take their job seriously. The only way I know they were there is that they rang my Ring doorbell. When I got home I could still see leaves hanging out of the gutters and they left a black bag at the curb. I might have to put a ladder up and see if they really did clean them. I was never informed that they would leave their garbage. I don't think the value is there. I will never use them again and definitely do not recommend them. They didn't even call me after to see if I was satisfied or had any questions. My HVAC company always calls after service calls. This is a service call too. You hear family run and you think oh wow they must care about their customers. But that's not the case. Stay away from them. read more

Deserve zero stars. Used them once over 4 years ago. Found several issues that weren't really issues. Wife had them go head and fix (I wasn't home). The fixes were "MacGyvered" to say the least. This past weekend while we were gone, they came to my house, got up on my roof, cleaned my gutters. No request. No permission. And then they left bags of gutter goop all over my yard. Called the company. No record of their guys having been at my house. Neighbors confirmed it was Ned Stevens, who were trying to hit several while they were "in the neighborhood." This company is horrible. They didn't notify us they were coming until the day off. They sprayed water through a window, breaking a fan and ps5. After jumping through hoops for a year They offered discounts on future services. I would give them negative 5stars. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Came to clean my gutters but left without cleaning them because my water was shut off for the winter and they refused to do a dry cleaning. Called the office to complain and was told they will come back out tomorrow to dry clean my gutters tomorrow but was told of the technician decided he need Water to clean the gutters then my gutters will not be cleaned. Worst technicians and customer service ever stay away from this company. I don't know if this is a scam or not. They charged me twice as much as they told me it would cost. They came out, cleaned the gutters and left bags of trash in the road. They could have put the trash in the garbage can. Then about a week later, they sent me and email with red letters saying they found a serious problem with my gutters and I should call them immediately. I called them and they said all of my gutters needed to me be replaced for a little less than $2,000. No one else who came out told me this. I asked them why they did not tell me when they were here if it was so serious. I asked them how I knew they had not damaged my gutters. A honest company would inspect your gutters before they do the job and would have the customer present. They could have easily banged up my gutters and the asked for money to replace them. To start off with, I had to ask them to come back every visit to clean the garage gutters which were included in my contract but they always skip. Second their prices are insane- not in a good way. Third, they are CONSTANTLY upselling - every single visit they "found a problem" and wanted to sell me services to fix problems at an exorbitant cost. After 2 seasons, I've fired them and won't be going back for any of their services. I'll find someone local to take care of my gutters from now on. Anybody will be better. read more
