DO NOT USE - I called Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning for a quote and was given a price. I thanked them and explained that I was getting quotes from several companies before making a decision. As soon as I said that, I was suddenly offered a lower price if I booked immediately. Looking back, that should have been my first red flag. I was told they would come within the next 10 days, but no specific appointment date was provided. I was told I would receive a text before they arrived. Instead, they showed up on day 11. The crew was at my house for a total of about 10 minutes. They used leaf blowers to remove debris from the gutters, but rather than cleaning it up as promised, they blew it all over my yard and into the mulch that I had just put down a little over a month ago. The service also included a gutter inspection with a report. The report I received said nothing about the condition of my gutters. Instead, it tried to sell me pressure washing for my patio and driveway, complete with a price quote. I called the company on Monday to ask about the missing gutter inspection and to report that the debris had not been cleaned up. I was told they would send someone back to clean it up. I explained that wasn't really a solution because the debris had been blown throughout my mulch, making it impossible to simply clean up. I was also told that because the report didn't mention any gutter issues, there must not have been any. Unfortunately, that's simply not true. It has rained since the service was completed, and water is still not draining properly from my gutters. That tells me one of two things: either the gutters were never properly inspected, or the person performing the inspection didn't know what they were doing. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The scheduling wasn't honored, the cleanup that was promised wasn't done, the inspection I paid for wasn't documented, and the company seemed more interested in upselling additional services than completing the work they were hired to do. They bought Action Gutter Cleaning. Do not use Ned's! I had some minor dirt in my gutters. They came out today and they left all of the debris that they pulled out from the Gutters on the ground. They left debris not only in the flowerbeds but on my steppingstone path. My yard guy was just here yesterday. These guys were terrible. They weren't here 10 minutes. I spent more time than that cleaning up after them, plus I found a gutter nail that they knocked out. So now I have to hire somebody to come replace it. They did not speak a lick of English, so I could explain to them about a potential blockage in the gutters. It was an absolutely horrible service. I do not recommend them. I recommend you never call them. Horrendous service!!! read more

They destroyed my security camera and did not clean a clogged downspout. Hate to leave a 1 star, but I will have to spend 3X what they charge for a cleaning, and they did not do the job properly when they were here. read more

Very bad experience with the service this year. Not clean out debris flushed down. Send an inspection report said I need to replace one of my downpour because water backup. Later I checked and that because it was clogged with debris that they flushed down and left there. I had to clean it by myself. Cancelled auto renewal service immediately. read more

They cleaned my gutters in the rain, I don't think they did a very good job. They also blew out my dryer line and the job was hampered by rain. Clean up also was okay but not great. read more

Gutter cleaning itself was absolutely fine, but they for some reason power washed my front door and damaged it. I heard it being washed and figured they must have gotten dirt on it somehow while flushing the gutters. But when i went to go out later the door was so soaked that the water got into the joining where the glass is and expanded the door so it was hard to open. Furthermore, it got under the paint, which is now bubbling off. I submitted pictures and they sent someone out to check it. I show him what the issue was and this guy proceeds to get mad at me and tell me that the door was obviously damaged some other time and it must be from rain. Mind you, we have never had an issue with the door and the lip of our roof extends away from the edge of the house. I try to explain and he gets pushy and rude, talking over me. He made me incredibly uncomfortable and so upset that I just gave up and went back in my house. I immediately called to cancel future services with them and of course never heard back regarding my complaint after that. Use them at your own peril. read more

I scheduled a gutter cleaning from Ned's Home and made sure to explain during the initial order that my home has gutter guard screens. I was given a reasonable quote, and I was told this would not be an issue. When the two technicians arrived, they stated they needed to contact the home office to approve an extra charge for removing the gutter guards. I explained -- just as I had when placing the order -- that the guards don't need to be removed; they flip up easily for cleaning. Unfortunately, the customer service representative I spoke to didn't seem to understand this and kept insisting on extra charges. While I was still on the phone trying to clear up the situation, the two technicians got into their truck and drove off -- without saying anything and before the issue was resolved. Only one of them spoke English, which made communication even more difficult. Bottom line: it seemed like the technicians saw the job might take more effort and decided it wasn't worth their time. DO NOT REQUEST A DRYER VENT CLEANING!!! I was quoted in at the beginning of December, 2025 to come clean my dryer vent. A crew came out after I called multiple times and left because they did not bring the right ladder. They never showed back up until I called again. The crew showed up unannounced and left again. I called to ask what happened and they say my bushes are in the way. I just had to exterior of my house painted and the painter had no issue with accessing around my dryer vent. The guys that come out are great and do a great job. The problem is their policy of letting you know when they'll show up. They text when on the way. That is a huge problem if you are not home and lets say you have your windows open or your car out in the driveway or something else outside you don't want debris and dust to get onto and into. Was never notified by them of the fact that they worked on our house -- we were told we should just accept the fact that they purchased the previous book of business from a different company-- and they used that as an excuse to work on our roof with out express consent, from me and my wife. They are extremely aggressive when attempting to get to pay for something that you did not want or agree to! read more

Their gutter cleanings were fine so far. But they pointed out that an area needed urgent service which they provided a quote for. After charging me half up front, the crew showed up and immediately left without explanation, no English spoken by the crew. Two days and many phone calls later I was informed that my roof is too high and my money will be refunded, which Im still waiting for. Now I must wait for the money back to hire a reputable company for the "urgent" service. The whole experience would be much easier to swallow if they didnt ask for money up front, which I usually refuse but I trusted them because the cleaners have done a good job before. I had Ned Stevens replace my gutters 2 years ago. One of the downspouts fell off the side of the house during the recent heavy rain. Upon examination, I noticed that the screws they used to support the downspout were a lot smaller than the ones previously used (the original screws were still in place). I called and requested warranty repair which they refused because I did not sign up for their routine gutter cleaning program in which they clean the gutters 4 times a year, and it has been past the first year since installation. I bit the bullet and agreed to pay for the repair. I waited for 3 weeks and they never showed up, so I cancelled the service and got it repaired the next day by a different contractor, who used longer screws to properly support the downspout. read more

Called and waited forever after a very unprofessional and mediocre gutter service. I was told that the crew would make certain the downspouts were clear as I had already blown out and cleaned the gutters. That's was all I needed and they didn't even do that. When the crew arrived I mentioned that I simply needed the downspouts cleaned out. The crew blew out the gutters and they were packing to leave when I stepped outside and asked if the downspouts had been checked. The crew member who could speak English responded, "yeah you're all good". I asked where the water hose was and why it had not been used to checked the downspouts. The response again was "you're all clear, bro." I pushed the issue and they decided to pull out the water hose which took all of 5 minutes, but not before telling me "we gotcha bro!". Wtf kind of company addresses their customers as BRO??? Why did the shingles on my ridge vent become unattached? How did they check my downspouts by running water just inside the gutters? Why was the water hose not sent down the downspout as pro used when I made the appointment? I can tell you why....this company sucks! Use anyone else! Look at their recent google & yelp reviews! Originally scheduled for three months ago, they were no call/show, so I found another company which cleaned my gutters, for less money as well. Fast forward to today, and Ned's shows up at 8 am and starts cleaning "at" my gutters. I have to get out of bed, dress, and go pull two guys off my roof to stop. Now be forewarned, Ned's salesmen/dispatchers are smooth talkers who try to sway you on Ned's services. Scheduled a repair and threw in a cleaning (due to their pushy sales pitch) in early December and was told they could not tell me a date of expected service. Stating it was all weather dependent "Unless" I purchase a maintenance plan, then they would be out in 4 days. Over a 1.5 months later, still no service. Every time I called to try to lock down a service date, I had to listen to a sales pitch of their excellent BB ratings and again tried to upsell me on their programs. I called to cancel my appt today and again instead of giving me a date or an apology, I was educated on their excellent service reviews, implying that my complaint was unfounded and educated that they expedite customers that pay for the VERY EXPENSIVE maintenance programs. I just needed a repair and wanted to throw in a cleaning since it has been many years (I don't need regular cleanings). No thank you! I called, today, a local gutter repair company here in Roswell, GA and they are coming tomorrow morning to get the job done at a reasonable price with no sales pitch to commit to spending an unrequested service plan. Although I have a contract for them to clean my gutters twice a year, they are not satisfied with that. They were calling me every day (EVERY DAY) to try to sell me more services. I asked them to stop and also changed my phone number with them, but they continued their calls. I told them one more time and I will cancel my contract. Well, that's what I am doing today. They would have made so much more money from me by not calling and just maintaining their contract. Stupid, greedy, or both. Never give them your phone number. I would not recommend Ned Stevens. I used them for several years for cleaning. They recently told me all my gutters had holes, that the pitch was off and that all my gutters needed replaced. I asked them to provide pictures since I can't get up on my roof. They said they did not take pics. I then had two other gutter company's give me an assessment. Not only did both companies tell me that I have aluminum gutters which don't rust, therefore NO holes. I had no holes and my gutters were in great condition and did not need replaced. Needless to say, I cancelled my twice yearly gutter cleanings and went with a more reputable company. read more

Did an ok job with the cleaning itself, but left a door hanger saying there was an "issue". When I called about the issue, they were extremely PUSHY in trying to get me to pay for extra services. They try to add on services and wanted to "clean my roof" for $650. They use hard sell tactics and then tried to scare my tenants so that they'd want us to do the work. Also, they are rude and hard sell. They'll find "something wrong" and send emails to try and scare you and tell you to call them right away. When you call some New Jersey man or woman will hard sell the heck out of you. They will talk over you, interrupt you and then bad mouth anybody else you use. They actually do go work, but I'm not going to go through this type of hard sell everytime we have service. BTW when I called to cancel my service and he tried to give me the hard sell I told him I didn't like their hardcore sales tactics and that a little southern charm can go a long way....he hung up on me. As mentioned in other reviews, these guys took over for Atlanta's Best who I've used over the years. I didn't get a chance to find out how well the new company would do because I was still waiting weeks after the 2-3 weeks window I was given when I scheduled with them. My first call to follow up I was told they were waiting for the snow & ice to melt... yeah, ok - all the snow and ice in Atlanta, but I said "ok". My second follow-up a couple of weeks later to cancel the "appointment" got the exact same excuse. And when I told him I had already scheduled another company to come out, suddenly he could get someone to come out before the weekend. When I told him it was too late, he got aggressive and started touting how much experience he had and how long he'd been in business. No thanks. You lost my business by not keeping your commitments or at least following up with customers. You lost my business by making the same (obviously untrue) excuse twice. And I definitely don't give my business to companies who are rude to me. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. read more

I would give this a zero star rating if possible We used them for a year and paid through the nose for each service, and both were terrible. Gutters stayed clogged; although I offer to pay for them taking waste a way, bags left throughout the property; customer service did not respond to my emailed complaints; this is a very poorly run business. However, I found a a cheaper service over a year ago, and I still get hounded with calls at least once a week from Ned's trying to get me to sign back up. It's ridiculous. I called to schedule service and was told it would occur in 3-4 weeks. I called weekly for 3 weeks in a row and they committed to coming within 2 weeks and that the crew would aim to come tomorrow and everyday after but definitely within 2 weeks. They clearly have a master schedule and it's ridiculous that they could not commit to a date or date range. They prioritized their quarterly service providers on top of the one-time services. I signed up for a six months plan at the cost of over $380. I was told that the first service would be done within 2 weeks. After 16 days, I had to call and ask when someone would be showing up to do the job of gutter cleaning & inspecion and confer with me about issues. In hindsight and for someone new that is considering using this service, I was shocked to learn that their technological resources are extremely archaic. Their technicians or workers have no ability to communicate with their dispatcher or office to get schedule changes or customer requests to reschedule. Re company does not give you a time frame (other than a 8:00-3:00 operating schedule) in which a worker will be at your home and it is very difficult to get the office staff to cooperate and assist with changing a time for an appointment. The office staff said that you do not have to be home for the worker to do the gutter cleaning and roof cleaning, however if you do want to talk to the technician about issues you are having with gutter and draining problems, then they give you a time frame of when they're open from 8 to 3 each day. In my opinion, that's not a time frame. The reason given that the workers or technicians are not issued a cell phone is because they are doing "dangerous work on the roof" and they don't need a phone to distract them. However, my theory is that they can have a cell phone in their vehicle to text and have communications with their office for changes in appointment times and for contact information. We shall see how this works out. Since I am on a low end plan at this time spanning about 6 months, I'll have time to review and understand how well this goes and will add to this review. read more

I have used them for the last three years and they have gotten progressively worse. They don't come when requested - last year my "late fall" service that I requested right after Thanksgiving wasn't done until February. When I call to find out my schedule for this year since they are late, the customer service rep kept saying ASAP, but wouldn't say if that meant 5 days or 5 months. In the meantime, my gutters are overflowing. When they come, they run around on the roof for 10 minutes with leaf blowers - no safety equipment. read more

Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning (NSGC) contacted me to advise they had purchased the gutter cleaning company I I had used for several years. NSGC was polite and professional in all their communications with me. I figured, given all the new overhead associated with NSGC, that prices would increase. I was open to discussing that. However, things went downhill. I received an email advising to just reply if I wanted to schedule gutter cleaning. The email gave me some easy options - BUT made no reference to a price increase. So, given no notice of price increase, I presumed the rate was the same that I had been paying. Then I received a confirmation email with a price more than double what I had been paying. That email advised the only way to cancel was to call NSGC. The email advised a trip charge would be owed if I didn't cancel BY PHONE. That's bad customer service. NSGC should have been upfront with pricing. NSGC lost my trust. I called the # and eventually reached NSCG's department - who, of course, didn't want to cancel my service, wanted to keep me in the phone / not take "No" for answer, and only then offer to "work on the price". I advised I was documenting my cancellation and terminating the call. To their credit, the NSGC sales department remained polite the entire time, even as ended the call. read more

They bought out my previous gutter cleaning company. I scheduled service and they came out more than a week later than they originally estimated. Then they decided they they can't clean my gutters because they don't have a ladder long enough for the back side of my house (won't walk over for the front of the house because of "safety concerns "). It is a two story house with a basement and foundation wall in the back, so the height is not that unusual. I'd been happy for many years with my previous company and now I have to start all over. The customer service reps who schedule your appointment seem to have no idea/control over the scheduling which leads to them giving misinformation about service timeframes. They also seem to have no direct contact with the service workers which leads to a-lot of miscommunication. The person who booked my service promised me it would be completed by a certain date within two weeks- I explained I was having a holiday party and my main goal with booking them was to have the service complete before said party. I reiterated this 3 times. When I didn't hear from the company as the party date was approaching, I called to check in. This is when a new service rep explained to me they can't guarantee dates and the initial person I spoke to should have made no such promises. They then told me that I'm on the list for service the day after the party, so I decided to keep the appt as I still needed the gutter cleaning. Monday rolls around and the technicians show up. After spending 5 mins at our home they suddenly left reporting "an issue keeping them from completing service". I called the office. I was told that due to our back gate being closed they couldn't complete the service. This is insane for 2 reasons: First, we did open our back gate and if the wind blew it closed, why did they not come knock on the door for such a simple solution? Both my husband and I were home. Secondly, the same customer service rep who booked the initial appointment told me to NOT worry about the gate (I asked incase we were at work during time of service) because the techs climb over the roof to access backyards. This makes the 2nd time that the customer service rep lied to me. I was assured that the technicians would turn around and come back to the house and if they couldn't come back for any reason, I would receive a call. Big surprise- neither happened. The next morning I called for the 4th time to cancel services. The person I spoke to was allegedly the person who booked my initial services. He went on trying to convince me not to cancel while promoting the companies accolades, told me it was my fault the technicians left, tried to offer me discounts, and ultimately revealed that since he was the one who booked my appt, he never guaranteed me an exact date of service. This is now the 3rd lie from this rep. I cancelled services and would highly recommend you avoid this company altogether. read more

Theses guys merged with Atlanta's Best Gutter Cleaners who I've been using for years. I had my doubts but gave them a shot since they honored my past pricing. It took a few weeks to get them out, but when they showed up they were courteous, professional, and efficient. They knocked it out quick. No complaints. I'll call them again. read more

II contracted with Ned Stevens Gutters 2 years ago to install new gutters and maintain my home's roof in Marietta Ga. - with catastrophically bad results. They destroyed most of the shingles adjacent to the gutters during installation and hid the fact from me. I have photos. This caused water damage and requires me to replace the roof prematurely - at a cost of $3000. They hid the damage until this summer when I saw their staff blowing shingles off the roof and kidding about it. I am 70 and had not climbed the roof in some time. I asked them to replace the shingles. They would not. My next call was to the company, insisting they repair the damage. The company refused, agreed then refused again. A customer service staff called and mocked me sarcastically. I hope it was recorded. FYI I paid them over $2100 over a 2 year period. It was a very unwise investment.
