Drawers are dirty inside and sticky outside. There was a half wet rag left over the shower rod. There were 6 of us and we only had 8 towels. I was told in the email we would not be giving more during the stay. But 8 towels and rags? We are supposed to use the same rag and towel for the next 5 days? Gross! A plus I didn't see any hair in the bed I slept in. Refrigerator/ freezer seemed clean. Took half a day to freeze the ice cream though. Guess you get what you pay for. We stayed 5 nights at around $1350. Patio chairs are nasty and rusted. The trash can and lid were dirty. Sitting at the kitchen table you could see how nasty it is under the refrigerator and the baseboards. Absolutely would not recommend or stay here again. Ants. Dirty shower. Dirty rag in shower. Dirty shower curtain. Dirty curtains in bedroom and living room. Bedroom smelled like pee. Hair in shower possibly pube hair. 2 toilet paper rolls for five days for 6 people. Where the shower sealed looks like its molding.

Hard to ask for a better view from the extra large balcony, which was perfect for enjoying the beach on rainy or lazy days. Views could also be enjoyed from almost every space inside as well including the kitchen and master bedroom, which had its own balcony access. Condo amenities were also on point. Kitchen is well-stocked with all necessary cooking utensils. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. The facility's amenities were also above average with over 4 outdoor pools and an indoor pool, so it was never crowded. There are an adequate number of outdoor grills and tennis courts to enjoy as well. The walk to the beach is quick and easy using the boardwalk. Takes around 4-5 minutes from door to beach. The on-site restaurant is also quite good and there are several other good options nearby as well. Would certainly stay again!

Although, my husband is not, he is above the age restriction, prior to me sending them our Identification, they emailed me and said we need to come and show our Identification to the office to prove I have someone above the age restriction, the office closes at 5. So I emailed them the time I was arriving to the condo and that was at 4:27, and also asked if it was necessary for us to come into the office and show Identication since I emailed them and also said it wasn't a problem to do that was just wondering if it was necessary. Therefore I told them I will be there in enough time to show my Identification and my husbands, we receive a email around 4:10 that our reservation was cancelled and that we would get our refund back, then said that it wasn't them who cancelled and that it was airbnb who cancelled because of age restrictions. I called airbnb, they told me that this host MANAGEMENT requested for them to cancel and return my money and that they do not want to host me and my husband. Not because of our age restrictions. When the host already told me it wasn't fine and changed the reservation to my husbands name. I messaged this "management" that airbnb said they requested for our cancellation and said they did not want to host me and my husband. They proceeded to reply with this was Airbnb giving them a bad rep, when it was them who did it. And then when I asked for my reservation to be put back since me and my husband were almost there. The host management said pease contact airbnb there is nothing else we can do.

We just returned from our stay in Gulf Shores. We booked the Lagoon Luxury property for our family…read moresummer vacation. Upon arrival we loved how close the property was to the beach but immediately noticed broken items like a broken cabinet frame, flooring pieces that were no longer glued down, fridge handles were extremely loose etc. We also noticed a small splatter of something on our bathroom wall that resembled blood. I immediately called the office and they asked that I email pictures. I sent the pictures immediately and they responded stating they would have maintenance and cleaning crew come out. I thanked her and assumed things would be fixed soon. A cleaning guy came over the following day and sprayed enzyme cleaner on the bathroom wall. We expected the maintenance person to come out that day as well but they never did. Communication day 1 was great but after that they went silent. The things that I reported broken were never fixed. We made sure that everyone walked carefully in the dinning room area where the wood panels were loose to avoid any accidents. I did receive an automated text from the company the day before check out with check out instructions and a second text immediately aftet checking in on how things were going, I responded letting them know that no one came out the prior day to fix anything and got no response.This is our 1st time staying with beachball properties and most likely our last due to the lack of response and effort on their end. The property needs updating before allowing anyone else to stay in that home. It was 13 people in our group and all of our first time in Gulf Shores so we tried to make the best of it and stay out sight seeing and at the beach. I really wish someone would've came out to fix or atleast check the things I sent pictures of. We paid alot of money to stay there and expected a higher standard from the company. A quote from their website......"Additionally, our dedicated maintenance team is available 24/7 to promptly address any needs that may arise during your stay." If this was true my review would have been WAY different, praising your team for taking care of things quickly.

Upon checking in at Brown at the Beach, I went to grab pots and pans to cook dinner for twelve people and found a lack of pans. I also found that what I took in photos as two refrigerators was one refrigerator and one extra large freezer, which again was not enough for a place that has eight bedrooms and was home to twelve people for a week. When I called Beach ball properties, they said nothing could be done that night, but promised more pans the next day. That promise was never fulfilled. On Wednesday of the week, I called when winds from a tropical depression caused water to come through four doors that faced the beach and a sun shade that was on tracks on the upper balcony was bashing into the building. The answer was that someone would come and check, again promise not fulfilled (property owner should be concerned about this). Other things of concern, the downstairs bathroom (barn door design) has no locking mechanism which seems lacking. One of the bedroom doors would not lock because the door did not shut properly and another bedroom (barn door design) did not have a lock at all. The property also had a poor dishwasher design which was too small for the size of the house. I'm addition to a lack of pots and pans, they were short on drinking glasses unless you count the abundance of shot glasses. Again, choose to spend your money elsewhere than, Beach Ball Properties and Brown by the Beach
