As a guy, I think there's nothing wrong for men to get their brows groomed. I usually go to the Threading Spa at the South Shore Plaza to do it. Today I was feeling lazy to drive, so I decided to try out this local place. Inside was kind of depressing, and the chair was uncomfortable, but they say not to judge a book by its cover. Holy hell was I wrong. I specifically told her I just wanted a cleanup, keep it clean, and keep it thick. Guys eyebrows shouldn't be thin. When she was done, and gave me the hand mirror, I literally didn't recognize myself. It was unbelievably thin for what I'm used to, I didn't even know what to say when she asked "how is it?" I was so stunned, and speechless. I answered it was ok, and even tipped $2 because I'm a wuss. I'm going on vacation tomorrow, and now I just want to stay inside my house for 2 months to wait for my brows to grow back out. read more

Trusted previous reviews for far too long before trying Neelu's. This is not a "frilly" place - she is very "to the point" but has never been rude or rushed me through a threading appointment. I get the desired outcome every time and I feel that her prices are fair. My one complaint is that I went there during "open" hours one day to find the place empty. Lights were on and there was nothing on social media suggesting that she had a last minute closure. Thankfully I live pretty close but that was a bit disappointing. read more

The lady that owns the place will be on the phone the entire time you sit in the chair. She sticks the thread in her mouth under her mask. She's so distracted with being on the phone she has made numerous errors. Found a new place in Milford.If she stays off the phone it pays attention maybe she'll do a better job. read more

INSIDE: There is one chair in there with a small waiting corner but that's all they really need. PARKING: There is parking in front of the building but you have to go down the street on the side of the building to get into the parking lot. The entrance is pretty steep; so steep that when you leave if you don't go down the left side it will SCRAPE THE BOTTOM OF YOUR CAR. WAIT TIME: I went in and there were two people in front of me, I probably only waited 10 minutes or so. PRICING: Eyebrow threading is only $10.00. It is CASH ONLY with no ATM inside the establishment so make sure you have cash before you go, there is a gas station a building away but it charges a $2.00 ATM fee. OUTCOME: The woman who did my eyebrows was very nice and did an amazing job. This was the first time I got threaded and can say it comes out better than when I get them waxed. It is very fast and the outcome look so clean. I will definitely be going back! MORE PERKS: They also have a stamp card available; for every 5 stamps you get your eyebrows down free one time! First time getting threading done and this place rocked my hairy world! I'm not sure if Neelu was actually the person helping me, but she was incredibly friendly, and talked me through the process. I was amazed at how well she shaped my eyebrows with what seemed to be a process based so much on 'trust' as it was a totally new experience. It's hard to gage what is happening during the process. To anyone who has not threaded - it hurts less than wax - but takes longer...so its a less painful but more extended experience. Overall - its way better! This was wonderful. I will no longer be waxing if I can continue to visit Neelu's. It's right down the road from my house. I am so lucky to have this gem right around the corner! read more

Worst experience ever. The eyebrow place I usually go to and love was closed today so I figured I'd try this place out because it's near by. Walked in and i was the only one and she still made me wait until she finished her personal phone call. I'm patient so I was okay with it. In the chair she was rough and still on the phone and at this point I was agitated. Price was cheap and I still tipped but when I got home I started actually crying because of how awful they came out. They were both two completely different shapes, even though I asked her just to clean them up. They're uneven and patchy and thankfully I know how to fill in/draw on my brows because that's what I'll have to do everyday for the next few weeks. Never again. read more

I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time here and it was a great experience,the place is nice and clean and the woman doing your brows was very nice,there still is only one chair but it took less then 10 mins for her to do each person. Parking has not changed so thanks to the 1st review, I stayed to the left leaving the parking lot. Will def.go back there again read more

I have Middle Eastern eyebrows which one would think would be there specialty! I asked for a clean up and i repeated that I wanted to keep my eyebrows thick, However she took it upon herself to ruin my eyebrow which I have been growing out for two months, she just started cutting with a scissor (making them uneven) and I honestly can't believe how horrible she made them. Everyone keeps giving me negative reviews as well. So disappointing. read more

If you are really into having nice eyebrows...I WARN YOU! I feel compelled to leave a review after such a horrible experience. I had thick nicely shaped eyebrows before yesterday. The woman who works here is often on the phone chatting away while doing eyebrows which I think is super unprofessional. I hated it before and was the reason I stopped coming here for several months. With limited options and pressed for time I made the mistake of stopping in yesterday. This woman absolutely ruined my eyebrows before my vacation...RUINED! She made them too thin and pushed one down super low in the front and gave me a rounded shape...just a absolute hot mess! Now I have to wait for them to grow out and pencil them. I am raging mad! She did not listen to my request and was in complete denial when I pointed out her very obvious errors. I will never ever be coming back here! This place is horrible. I hate this location! read more
