So it seems like there are some weird quirks about that advertisement. Like usually what most people do is they go online and this place usually has some sort of one-time "sale" going on. And it's one of those things where you can't get the sale price and the free month's at the sametime. Usually the online price works out to be better. Like for the month free, the monthly rate is pretty high. The online price usually gives you a better rate for a few months. But watch when those months expire, because your rate goes up. So here's a "trick" to keep your rates at a somewhat good price: take the online specials, then when you reach your expiration, you can apply all over again. BUT the only caveat is that you'll have to move to a NEW unit. Yup, like take all your belongings from the unit you're currently in and move it to where ever they assign you to. I haven't done the math if it's worth it, but I guess it just matters how much stuff you have to move.

I have been renting rug cleaners from this location for YRS so I knew I could rent by 3-4hr ect. The woman ant the desk asked for my number and she already had it in there computer. I paid for the rental and then left. I returned 2hrs later. When I returned there was a man at the desk he processed the paperwork. I asked if som of my money would be returned since it was not a full day. He stated they do not do that. I asked why not since that was something that i was always able to do prior. He stated that is something abba used to offer... at that moment I realized the company was not the same and that's why it looked different inside. I have no idea how long ago it changed but something could have been said. I believe there was enough to see I did not realize they were not abba. I spent way more then I needed to on a machine I could have rented somewhere else for a couple hours.

We get to the place to pick it up that morning and they informed us they require a Class 3 receiver hitch. Bumper hitch not allowed. Tongue weight of splitter is less than 100 pounds. Towing and rental policies were not explained in detail. Had planned on renting other equipment from them but not now. They cost us money for the ball and the hired help in which we could use neither now without a splitter.

My X and neighbor was insulted at the treatment today. The day before he was told he had to buy their lock and had to use their insurance. So he drove home. I appeared and they changed their story to yes he can supply his own lock ( I was leaving and planning on giving him my lock because they are absolutely useless locks anywhere else.) Also that he could provide declaration of his home owners insurance . They basically sending us in huge wasted time and circle. The last straw was today they Lied!!! Said he was in their system as living with me ?! That he could not rent with promotional??? They kept copy of his picture ID which is the only thing they could have in system because he has never done business with them. I was so embarrassed I paid for him to get a unit at Storequest storage where I have two huge units for my business. Plus I heard here twice in 4 months of break ins and thefts . Many believing it's an inside job. I've used Storquest for many years and National. We will stick with other storage units that have less customers on drugs which might be due to location.

I have had great experience with the old and new owners. I have been a client of theirs since 2018…read moreand have had a good experience. The storage facility is basic a asphalt and pea gravel where you have ample space to move around for larger rigs. Security is reasonable and new cameras have been installed throughout the facility. There is also a person that works onsite that has been friendly. The new owners added digital payment options and have been doing some upgrades. Rates are good for this location, but let's see what the future brings. Overall, I would recommend this location.

Furthermore, there are NO cameras in the halls of the non-climate controlled area, making it extremely easy for thieves to conceal their actions. In the case of the burglary to my unit, Management and Police have been unhelpful so far. Avoid all of the time and money spent getting your stuff back and rent elsewhere, at least at a place with cameras inside the facility.

So in other words, they are charging for a period of 23 days of this month without providing any services. That is theft and it's disgusting. It's my money for 23 days in exchange for nothing. The employee that informed me of this theft asked "is that ok?" lol. No, it's very not ok. But of course, her hands are tied and she can't do anything about it, because it's an on-purpose, calculated, anti-consumer policy. A remedy would be as follows: 1) refund the money stolen from me for these 23 days, 2) change the policy for all Trojan Storage users so that you no longer charge for services that aren't even rendered (in other words, you need to pro-rate on the way out), and 3) issue a public apology for this embarrassingly grotesque, greedy behavior.
