Love this place!!!! The beans they use are the best--especially the pitalito ones from Colombia. The flavor is so bold and freshly roasted they are the best. Love using them for my Breville machine. Amazing service always and the store itself is very cute with nice outdoor seating as well. I will def always come here for freshly roasted beans (Colombian beans are the best and no I'm not saying that because my boyfriend is Colombian)
I went to Neighbors during their 1 year anniversary because I wanted to try some of their more rare seasonal menu items. First, I want to commend neighbors for how this event was set up. The classics menu which was regular drip coffees, cold brews etc. were served on the outside while people who wanted to order the "all star menu" of items that were noted on by customers could order inside. This was fantastic in terms of reducing wait times and managing crowd levels. Everyone was very friendly and the cashier was great at explaining the ingredients of the drinks. I got the s'more's latte and a warmed butter croissant. I loved the marshmallow top on the s'mores latte and it helped add a sweetness to the coffee. Glad to have been able to try this drink during the 1 year anniversary menu and hoping I'll be able to drop by again this weekend to get one more of the limited drinks.
I tried the seasonal raspberry bliss iced mocha! It's only available on the weekends. I would have preferred it to be a little bit sweeter but the barista was happy to give me a little bit more syrup. But for those who like strong coffee, you'll enjoy it. Plenty of table and chairs inside if you want to get work done here. However, it does get busy on the weekends. There was a long line as I was leaving.
Can't believe Neighbors is celebrating their one year anniversary! I try to grab coffee here whenever I visit my family in the area. The service is fairly quick considering how long the line usually is! The seasonal drinks are fantastic and I highly recommend the Summer Date. So grateful to see that they continue to remain popular in the community, and I look forward to many more visits!

Came here twice in one week: a weekday after 3PM and noon on a Sunday. The main difference was the wait was longer after 3PM (they close at 4PM) and there were fewer staff. It was much livelier (more customers and staff) on the weekend and the drinks took less than 2 minutes to come out. On a few indoor tables there are no laptop signs and when the weather's nice, the outdoor tables fill up. The staff is very helpful in recommending types of milk that would pair well for certain drinks. The mango sticky rice is a favorite with our family. Matcha, a surprising crunch when you get a bit of the crispy rice, and (not too) sweet refreshing soda. They suggest sipping a bit before stirring due to the carbonation. Next we liked the Sumo Spritz which gives a sweet citrus taste to the coffee. The match in bloom is more floral, and while we liked it, our family favored the other two more.

Best coffee shop in the area by far, not only because they care deeply about the craft of coffee but because they care deeply about their customers, the neighborhood, and community. Neighbors was such a welcome addition to our Woodley Gardens community. We were in need of a locally owned and operated coffee shop in this area and got SO much more when Lulu & Spencer opened Neighbors. From the seasonally curated drinks list to the carefully sourced and brewed beans, everything they do is thoughtful. That extends to their hospitable atmosphere - every barista has tried to learn/remember my name (and I'm trying to learn everyone's as well!). It sounds small but this is what builds community over time - that caring attitude is felt and appreciated by all of us who frequent Neighbors. They also host a monthly book club AND run club, giving those of us in the area another reason to meet up, connect, and be together. It's what we need now more than ever. I feel so lucky to have a place like Neighbors nearby! It's located right across from the park and is often frequented by families with children, friend groups, and more! Lots of seating outside, shared with Z&Z and Carmen's.
This is a combined review from two visits, and Neighbors Coffee has been amazing both times. I've tried several of their fall and winter specialty drinks, and every one has been amazing!! The first time i went, I had the pumpkin spice latte, which was subtle with an earthy anise flavor that made it really unique. This time, I tried the caramel sage latte. was hesitant at first, but the sage added such a cozy, unexpected flavor that I ended up loving it. We also got the Baltimore Fog, which tasted like Froot Loops in the best way! The cafe has a cozy but busy atmosphere, clearly popular for a reason, and the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. I love coming here and will definitely be back :)
At first, my heart was broken, there were no more banana lattes! This seasonal favorite was gone from the menu. But, then, I looked up and saw the s'mores latte. The s'mores latte has a torched marshmallow topping and drizzle. So, that is what I ordered. Service was great and it was crowded. I waited just a few minutes and my delicious latte was ready to go. The cute, bright, and plant filled cafe was very welcoming. There were a lot of people sitting at the tables. My coffee was rich, with robust flavor with the most delicious marshmallow topping. I have never commented on the coffee beans in one of my reviews, but these coffee beans were very good. The only hiccup for me is the price. It was $8.45 for a small 10 ounce cup. But, you are paying for a specialty coffee and an excellent brew. So, all things considered, I would definitely return.
For people who don't read reviews: small business, go. For others: This place is straight up accountable to good coffee and taking care of the customer. So awesome and intimate and it's most importantly a small business, so no matter what you need to go. Took a pit stop on the way north and this is the perfect spot to get ready for more driving not because of the coffee (even tho it's supreme), but the people. You want syrups made in house? You got it. You want amazing coffee? You got it. You want an amazing experience with people who actually care if you're getting what you exactly want. You better beleive.......you got it. First time trying Neighbor's coffee and it seems like the neighborhood loves the concept! Place was packed on a Saturday morning with people inside and outside. The good news is they have lots of employees working and the line moves quickly! I loved the summer menu and how creative the drinks were. I had a banana latte with coconut foam and my husband and my husband had the Valencia spritz. read more

Great coffee selection and professional baristas! This spot is always busy but it's very understandable why - welcoming, nice vibe and great drinks. I also got a bag of light roast for pour over at home and it's great! I appreciate how much they care for the coffee farmers behind the roast. Also provided "recipe" how to brew which is a great touch of detail! Highly recommend this place for all! They also have tables outside which you can bring your pup there! read more

Starting at the farmers market the owners now have a brick and mortar store that gets CRAZY busy on weekends. The staff is amazing and efficient. We were picking up drinks and pastries to bring back. Delicious coffee and very good pastries . read more
I am not much of a coffee drinker so it definitely speaks volumes when I actually enjoy a drink from a coffee shop This was the case with neighbor's coffee. I got a s'mores latte with oat milk. They make a lot of their ingredients in house, including their syrups. They are also extremely knowledgeable about what's in their products which was helpful for me as someone with dietary restrictions. We will definitely be coming back for more! read more
On a quest for apple coffee, I jumped at the opportunity to try the apple butter latte at Neighbors Coffee in Rockville. I opted for their house made oat milk which was creamy and blended well with the espresso, local apple cider, house spiced syrup, and house caramel. I left the lid off so I could smell a little bit of apple with each sip. Cozy neighborhood place with slight hipster vibes and good tunes. Surprisingly crowded at 10am on a Thursday and sold out of all baked goods already. Will be back for weekend donuts (Sundays only!) read more
Finally made it here after a couple of weeks of grand opening. There were a line still but started inside, prob about 20 mins in line to place order, afterward drink was made pretty fast :). Had the Iced S'mores Latte as part of the Fall Season menu, which was delicious and Canele. They were able to customize my drink to 1/2 the sweetness. There were seatings indoor and shared patio outside, which seems like most prefer to grab and go or sit outside. Will def be back trying another fall flavor and the weekend pastry specials! FYI they offer pupcups too for the fidos! read more
Amazing coffee & homemade syrups from a cozy coffee shop inside of a refurbished bank Have a good amount of both classic & unique drinks + a few pastries that they import daily from local bakeries I got their s'mores latte and it was fantastic. Got a chance to finally try this spot last weekend, and I liked it! Line was out the door on a Sunday just a little before noon, but overall it took about 30 mins from when I got in line to when I got my order. Friendly staff, cozy & earthy vibes inside. Some merch available for sale. Ordered an iced apple butter latte & a hot s'mores latte; both were unique flavors and perfect for fall. The day I went, they also had donuts available that were delivered by a different vendor, as well as other pastries that they sold in-house. A few tables inside, but plenty more seating outside that's shared with the other stores in the shopping center. read more

Took us 45+ minutes to order and receive our drinks/donuts, but honestly loved it. Wish they had online ordering, but alas! Now onto food/drinks. Neighbors Coffee has great seasonal options, and when comparing the iced apple butter latte to the iced s'mores latte, I preferred the apple butter latte. Their donuts are amazing - really chewy, with a delightful spring back. Unfortunately, the miso pumpkin was sold out but we did get their new black sesame/caramel donut alongside their Jasmine/vanilla donut. I loved the Jasmine vanilla donut - you could really smell and taste the Jasmine tea. read more

I thought it was pretty average, nothing that I was necessarily wowed by. I also came in on a Saturday morning so maybe the busyness of things impacted my experience. The staff was pretty friendly, they even checked in on my order to make sure I got exactly what I wanted as the wait was pretty long (about 25 min). It's for sure a popular place to be on a Saturday morning! I ordered a strawberry matcha with oat milk. They get their pastries from fresh baguette so I ordered a croissant. They don't have a way to heat up pastries which is a little unfortunate but nothing a quick air fry at home can't solve! The matcha was just okay, a little chalky. I've had better strawberry matchas so I wasn't super impressed. I will say it could use a little more of the strawberry syrup because once I mixed it in, I lost that strawberry flavor. I might give this place another go during the weekday when it's a little less busy, and I for sure want to go back and try their cinnamon buns they offer on the weekends. read more
This place just opened up so decided to try this place out with a friend. It wasn't super busy on a weekday (she told me there was a line when she went on a Sunday morning). We each ordered a hot latte and a croissant. It was disappointing that the latte wasn't piping hot when we got it. The croissant tasted like what you would expect to. There are several tables for people to sit and some outside too. I hope they expand their options for food options but I know they partner with other vendors. read more

Incredible specialty drinks for the new spring menu! I tried: mango sticky rice soda, sumo spritz, matcha in bloom and the raspberry bliss. My favorites were the mango sticky rice soda, which has an incredible matcha cold foam on top, and the matcha in bloom, which is a perfect mix of zesty and sweet. Aside from being tasty, all the drinks are aesthetically pleasing as well, and service is super friendly. I just found out a good friend went to high school with the owners. We need more local coffee shops in Moco and I am very grateful for this one! read more

Neighbors came on the scene hot and there's no surprise it's having the success it is having. I first got to try Neighbors coffee during their days at the Kentlands Farmers Market. It's been fun seeing this team grow and really draw people from all over the DMV. They have fun drinks and a good community feel. The owners and baristas are pretty cool people. I look forward to the upcoming Spring menu. read more
Such a cute place. It pretty busy but all went smoothly with ordering, etc. I decided to order the caramel sage latte. It was delicious - perfect balance of both flavors. Such a unique coffee place that is decorated nicely with lots of seating both indoors and outdoors! I really love how there is a seasonal menu so you can try unique flavors every few months. We ordered the mint mocha, hojicha, and fig latte. I love the foam, syrup, and leaf decor on top. The workers were all very nice and I love how they make their own oat and almond milk! I ordered mine with the oat milk and it definitely has a strong flavor which I enjoyed. I hope to come back to try the spring menu! read more
love this coffee shop! I went to their farmers market stand over the summer before they opened their brick and mortar store and loved it so had to visit the physical location. they have a surprisingly good matcha for a coffee shop (coming from a matcha snob) and they have really interesting seasonal flavors. staff are friendly and the space can get busy. they have wifi too so you can work there as well read more
