    Crogel sandwich

Cannot speak more highly about this place. When I came in, I introduced myself to the owners and they treated me like I was an honored guest. I saw them give the same treatment to other patrons. They were very helpful in getting me to choose from the menu. When they heard I came from out of town, they advised me to try the cro'gel (croissant bagel) that you only get in Maryland and recognizing my interest in different foods, recommended me the kouin amann. They also guides me through my matcha choice and advised on the best temperature for it. If I lived in the area, I would surely be a regular here!

I was looking for a coffee shop with wifi to get some work done and Yelp led me here. The place is warm, friendly and comfortable. The smoked salmon crogel was delicious but pricy Pro Tip: Get the crogel!

Very good. Nice well made croissant and salmon breakfast sandwich. My caramel macchiato was also delicious, one of the best I've ever had. On their menu they also have some interesting drinks that I haven't seen other places. Service was good. The place is a bit small but there is different types of seating at tables and along the windows. I definitely plan to visit again to try more stuff.

In a semi desperate search for coffee and a light breakfast option after an intense workout, I turned to yelp for a walkable nearby solution, and the new 5 star rated French Press popped up. French Press is a cute, clean, and modern coffee shop that also serves all sorts of french delicacies and pastries. The breakfast sandwiches are made to order, and are fresh and absolutely delicious-just make sure you specify if you want it served hot. The coffee options are equally as good. My vanilla almond milk latte was not overly sweet and had a perfect balance in favor and smoothness, and my friend enjoyed her matcha latte. The pastries were also good, but (perhaps personal preference) could have been served a bit warmer to give them a more softer, succulent taste and texture. Customer service was perfectly hospitable and attentive, and was a very personable experience. Seating is fine-with a few small round tables, one oblong wooden table, and counter seats available overlooking street view window. Overall, highly recommend trying out this new locally owned shop. pro tip-Street parking is available, but definitely walk for convenience.

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Bethesda with immaculate vibes. Good for studying with multiple small tables. Can't comment on the food, but the cappuccino I ordered was good, if extremely hot. I had to let it cool down for several minutes before being able to drink. I enjoyed the bar seating at the front which is perfect for solo relaxing and people watching. Service was quick and friendly. I'd like to go back and try some of their other beverages, but for the music and atmosphere alone I'll give it 5 stars.

The crogel has entered my life and I'm not looking back. What a great place for coffee and a sandwich! The smoked salmon sandwich is a perfect breakfast. And the coffee here is amazing.

Flat white, iced chai latte, almond croissant, spinach quiche

Good: Coffee, customer service, ambiance Bad: Food, chai We got a flat white, iced chai latte, spinach quiche, and almond croissant. The flat white was good, but the chai latte was mediocre. The almond croissant tasted like it was a day or 2 old, and the quiche was inedible (even after heating and re-heating), so we ended up throwing it away. It's obvious that the food was not fresh, with the quiche being several days old at least. They said they got their pastries and quiche from Fresh Baguette, which is just down the road, so I'd recommend getting pastries or a quiche directly from there instead. I wanted to try a breakfast sandwich, but the only egg they have is hard boiled, which I'm not a fan of. Maybe their sandwiches would be better than what I had; however, my experience would make me weary of how fresh their ingredients are. The staff was friendly, and the seating area was decent. I liked the music and retro radio they have in the corner. I'd recommend this place if you want to hang out and grab a coffee or cafe drink, but I'd head elsewhere for food.

The coffee is great and the pastries are really good and fresh!! The staff is super nice and attentive. It's a really good calm spot to enjoy!!

Delicious, extremely friendly, great ambiance with relaxing atmosphere. I'm trying for the first time. I will definitely back.

A delicious egg n' avocado crogel (a croissant bagel!)

A great place for sandwiches. It was so good that we went back three separate times during our short trip to Bethesda.

I've been to this location three times. Each time, I've interacted with different team members. The personalities and friendliness of the team there is top notch. I've had some good laughs and conversations with them. The location is always clean, the service is fast, and the sandwiches are tasty! My go to, you ask!??.... "The Wreck!" Make no mistake about it. Thank me later! The sandwich is beastly good!! Loaded with just about every meat and topping, they have to offer. I've been coming here for years, and it's always a dependable, tasty stop when the hunger pangs strike. My go-to is The Wreck -- loaded up and, of course, with extra hot peppers. It's not just a sandwich; it's a life experience. Every bite feels like it's giving my taste buds a standing ovation... and my sinuses a pep talk. I also love their chili -- hearty, comforting, and exactly what you want on a chilly day (pun absolutely intended). One of my favorite things is the mix-and-match approach here. Half a sandwich, half a salad, whatever combination makes your stomach sing -- they make it happen. I'm partial to a sandwich-and-soup or sandwich-and-chili combo, but honestly, they could hand me a sandwich and a pickle and I'd still be grinning. The Pick-Your-Pair deal is my secret weapon for avoiding food FOMO. I get a little bit of everything without having to choose -- because why should lunch be a time for difficult decisions? I will say, I do miss the days when the rewards program felt, well, more rewarding. You know, something that made loyal customers feel like VIPs instead of "Very Intermittently Pleased." But that's a small gripe compared to all the deliciousness they serve up. A few Potbelly-themed jokes for flavor: Why did The Wreck go to therapy? It had too many layers of emotion. What's Potbelly's favorite band? Bread Zeppelin. My doctor told me to eat more greens... so now I get extra lettuce on my Wreck. Problem solved. Whether I'm craving a sandwich that could make a grown man weep, a bowl of chili that hugs your soul, or a meal combo that lets me have my lunch and eat it too -- this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!

Breakfast is available all day, so love that. I enjoy this place, puts me in a good mood. Last time that I was in (yesterday), the waitress was excellent, attending to our every need. The French toast was spot on, the sausage patties were hearty, and the eggs prepared nicely. The rye toast was lovely and balanced; a lighter rye not dominated by too many caraway seeds and toasted golden. 'Nuff said.
