Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon to get some work done! It's such a cute, cozy spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. I got the pumpkin spice latte with oat milk--really good flavor without being overly sweet. The staff were super friendly and quick, and the baked goods were so good. :) They've got WiFi, local art (stickers earrings and more) and even have a cat nonprofit with events like kitten yoga and adoption events, which I love! First off I said thank you multiple times, I thought they didn't hear me so I said it again and they ignored me. This is by far the most disgusting coffee I have ever had in my life. I have had an oatmilk latte before and it did not taste like this. It tasted like we were drinking straight chemicals, like they didn't rinse the soap out of their machines. DO NOT waste your money here. These people are as rude as can be and will not give a refund because I didn't quote "read the menu" because I asked if they had whole milk. Rude rude people. I need to start this with I'm not vegan. I try to get on board with it and just can't. I like real milks and my pastries with butter and eggs. Now that that's out of the way, the strawberry shortcake roll was the best vegan dessert I think I've ever had. It was more than edible, it was good. Next to a non-vegan baked good, I'd choose the non-vegan option, but this was incredible for what it was. That alone, I'd give it a vegan 5 star review. The coffee... I wanted to give it a 5 star for being different, but the coffee lemonade was disgusting. I had to throw it out. The ginger beer coffee was better, but still not something I'd order again. I was on my way to another coffee shop in Savage Mill when I noticed a young woman working on her MacBook at a nearby table. Curious, I looked up and saw the sign: "Brewing Good Coffee Co." I decided to step inside--and I'm so glad I did. This place is really something special. The coffee? Absolutely delicious. I also tried their avocado toast, which was fresh and flavorful. Since I arrived early, I found parking easily on the main road, but there's also convenient parking in the Savage Mill retail lot--you can just walk down the stairs from there. The vibe is warm and welcoming. Friendly, positive customer service, beautiful decor with lots of plants, and even an LGBTQ+ flag by the register--it all adds up to a space that just makes you feel good. The only downside was that the avocado toast portion was on the smaller side. But honestly, that's a small detail in an otherwise perfect experience. 5/5--can't wait to come back! read more

I went here one time in November 2023 with a Vegan Meetup. I'll be honest, I'm not Vegan, but good to eat Vegan sometimes as it is a healthy way to go. Brewing Good Coffee is a Vegan bakery. I got a breakfast sandwich, which one of the members of the Meetup recommended, and he was right! That sandwich was delicious. It was an English muffin with egg, cheese (Vegan version), & meat substitute. Coffee I got was delicious too. Staff was nice and efficiently made the food/drinks for a large group. Seating is kind of limited. They have some seating next door with books, but almost all that seating was taken. They also have a fair amount of outside seating. In spite of being November 19, it was Sunny day & temps were above average, 50's in late morning warming rapidly to the 60's. Overall, this was a great place that I'd return to if I was over here looking for a breakfast/brunch option. read more

Lo and behold here we stumble upon a coffee brewery right at the site. The happiness filled within the walls of this coffee company is a great addition to the service provided... dairy free options and vegan all around. I loved the place. They even had indoor and outdoor seating. Where you can play an old school arcade game or read, write, converse you name it. This space is a place you can get away to and hide if you need. This is my absolute favorite place for breakfast. I drive in from Montgomery County for this all vegan coffee shop. Every bite I take of their food tastes like vegan heaven. They are constantly changing up their baked goods which makes me come back regularly to try the new specials. Brewing Good has a good amount of outdoor seating and an indoor space perfect for bringing your laptop and hanging with friends. For savory food they have a couple of breakfast options and a couple of lunch sandwiches. They have a lot of sweets to pick from although on the weekends they sell out so come early! My favorite sandwich is their croissant breakfast sandwich. It has a flaky croissant as the bread, some arugula and veggies for lightness, and vegan ham. I wish I could eat this every morning. It looked beautiful and tasted upscale. For desserts you cannot go wrong with anything baked in-house. They also have desserts from other vendors like Vegan Treats. Those I do not like as much as what Brewing Good makes. I would ask an employee to make sure you are getting their in-house made goods and I guarantee you will love it! Brewing Good may be pricy but I have never regretted a purchase. It is so hard to find this level of quality and creativity in the vegan food scene. Their pricing seems justifiable and I love knowing that 10% of my purchase goes to helping animals. This vegan business is vegan owned and always looking out for the animals. I mobile ordered a hot latte and an iced chai. The environment of the shop is super cute, very inclusive, very nice workers. However, we were NOT aware it was a vegan coffee shop. With that being said the latte wasn't that great but that may have been because it was made with vegan products. The chai tea wasn't the best either. It tastes like straight ginger and spice.The chai is unsweetened and they charge you separately for sweetener. The drink could add up to almost 10 dollars by adding each pump. For the price the quality didn't seem worth it, but something tells me this place is an acquired taste. If your vegan definitely try it out I've heard good things about the pastries. read more

Visited this shop on a Sunday to meet up with a friend who lives closer to Baltimore. I had an espresso, a drip coffee, and a slice of their breakfast focaccia. My friend had a tea and blueberry donut. They have a solid selection of teas and he seemed to enjoy his. My espresso was very good -- no bitter flavors or off notes, and rich chocolatey flavor. I typically go for lighter roasted/fruity/brighter flavors; this espresso wasn't in that category, but was very good. My drip coffee was quite solid as well. Nothing adventurous or special, but very good. They roast their own beans, which I am always skeptical of in a smaller coffee shop. But, the espresso and drip coffee were both good enough that I might give their beans a try at some point. The breakfast focaccia was great; I would definitely get it again. They have plenty of seating both indoors and outside and seem to be the kind of place where someone could work or read a book for quite a while and be comfortable and not feel in the way. The staff was friendly and drinks came out quite quickly. One minor quibble -- we ordered our drinks to stay but they still gave us the donut and focaccia to go. Would have been nice to have a plate. I didn't see whether they have plate, so it is possible that getting pastries/food bagged to-go is standard. Howdy! Great spot for a location right off the main road, down the side stairs towards Foundry. Usually great service. Went today to ask for a shot of espresso in my Medium cold brew, and they charged me over $10 for the drink. I have anxiety, so I didn't question it then, but it seems a little high ffora take away coffee. I will still be back, but not for that drink. Also, cold brew was a little bitter, but I assumed they added the espresso wrong. read more

I can't believe I hadn't heard of this vegan cafe sooner! They held a vegan trunk-or-treat for Halloween, which got my entire family in the doors. We tried a delicious (and enormous) chocolate cake; a spider cupcake; rice crispy treat; and two drinks-- the blood orange soda and the espresso with ginger beer. The selection made our hearts (and bellies) soar! We will absolutely be back to try some of the savory nosh with the dessert and coffee. I had been craving matcha croissants for months, and was scared that being vegan was going to make it impossible. After calling 13 bakeries in the city, someone finally suggested brewing good. I called and placed an order for pickup today and everyone was so sweet! The bakery is stunning and they have a separate seating area filled with local artwork and games for the patrons to enjoy. We ordered the matcha croissant, Boston crème croissant, the breakfast focaccia, and a glazed doughnut. All of them were incredible! The croissants were SO flakey and buttery, the fillings weren't too sweet, the focaccia was light with the perfect amount of toppings, and the doughnut was fluffy and soft. This review isn't about the coffee - which was pretty good but about the service. There must've been 6 people working there and it was still a ridiculously long wait for 2 simple orders. Added to that, this is clearly a neighborhood joint, but the way the managers (?) and regular customers treat it like they're the only ones there is bizarre. A couple who had placed and received their orders hogged the pick up counter while chatting with the owners/managers while blocking everyone else and weren't even asked to budge an inch as we maneuvered around them to get our drinks. We pop inside Savage Mill Antique Mall at least once a month and this little coffee shop is located at the lower level building adjacent to the mall. We usually park by the bridge and this time I noticed little tables outside,. We walked over to see a vegan coffee shop and bakery sign....yes please! Once inside I struggled to find a menu, another customer was waiting at the counter so after awhile I finally asked if I could see the only menu I could locate that was right in front of the register. Anyways we waited quite awhile, no one greeted us but I noticed a lady running around and two guys working in what looked like a really sweet Coffee Bean roasting room. Well the person in front of us was finally helped by the lady and then us....it was a long wait and it's unfortunate the other employees didn't help her. I ordered the one flavor I had never heard of before and it was Spectacular! The Panela Syrup in their iced latte is my new favorite thing in the universe! Their coffee is amazing, so freaking great I honestly haven't had coffee that good since I lived in Chicago. They sell their house roasted coffee beans for $21a bag and On the weekends they have Vegan donuts that look incredible. I would recommend calling before you go in, hours are tricky here and they had signs saying they're closed this upcoming Saturday. I can't trust reviews anymore. I tried this place for the first time and I was so disappointed. Their menu is so small and has only 3-4 options for breakfast and is expensive compared to what they serve you. My daughter ordered an egg, and cheese sandwich on a little biscuit and added a slice of bacon for $3 which tasted too bad. I ordered a quiche for $8 which was a small piece and was almost cold and tasted awful. The coffee late was almost cold, and the muffin for my son was hard and seemed old. They serve all their foods in disposable boxes and paper pockets, for the price they are charging is not fair. I have tried almost all coffee shops and their breakfasts all over the place but never had a bad experience like I had at these coffee shops and their foods. I would go back to my place Roggenart whenever I go to Savage Mill. I'm not recommending this place to anyone and I have never written a bad review like this before, but sorry I had to write this review so they know, how unsatisfied people are, and don't go by the owner's friends' reviews. read more
