Over the last five years that I have been dealing with Lad, he has consistently offered HIGHER PRICES on all gold-silver-and coins that I have sold him. And believe me, I priced them with other places. I am so confident in Lad's honesty, expertise, knowledge and fair dealings with people, that I have recommended him to friends who wanted to sell some jewelry. In all instances, no one was disappointed--in fact, they were SURPRISED at the considerably higher quoted price he offered. Case in point. Last year I'm going shopping and then to dinner with a friend when she tells me she wants to make a quick stop at a local jeweler in Totowa who she knows fairly well. Seems she brought some jewelry with her that she no longer wears and had been thinking of selling. Having recently moved to a new home out of the area, she decided she could put the money to better use. As a lover of vintage jewelry, I actually tried to talk her into keeping the pieces. (Sorry, Lad!) But I did tell her if she was really sure about selling, she should get a quote from my Coin Exchange contact Lad (who at the time was still in the Little Falls area) before she decided to sell anywhere else. So she gets a quote from her jewelry store friend. And she is happy with the price, but is on the fence now about getting rid of the pieces (because of me telling her how nice they were, I think). Anyway, I at least convince her to meet with Lad, but on the way, she makes it clear to me that if she decides to sell, and the quotes are at all similar -- even if Lad makes a slightly higher offer--she will want to sell to her jeweler friend and would hope I wouldn't be offended. She meets with Lad. He offers her a price. Her eyebrows raise. She barely looks at me before she says, "Okay, here's my jewelry. Sold". She left extremely happy. And I was surprisedly treated to dinner!

They were from the start honest and straight to the point. I finally was able to pop in and have them look at my ring to see if possible. They told me yes, left it with them, and to come back the following day. When I got my ring, which again I have had since my now husband proposed back in 2013, it looked fresh and new (the same way it did back then). The soldering looks amazing and the ring feels great.
