I also brought some of my dated jewelry with me for an appraisal. Reuben sat with me and helped me decide what I should keep, trade or sell. He also showed me some new settings. He quickly understood my style aesthetic, and efficiently identified several beautiful settings. His sales approach was completely customer guided. He listened and responded accordingly. This is my first jewelry experience where I was not being upsold or coerced. Ultimately, I decided to get a new setting and accepted their offer on some old jewelry. Tommy quickly resized the ring and reset my diamond as I watched, explaining the process and ensuring my satisfaction. This was one of the most pleasant and helpful shopping experiences of my life. Now everything (toys/games) is stacked upon the display cases so you can't see anything. Getting back to my opening point. I didn't intend to go to Sandy's last night at all…read more I actually had gone into Paramus Jeweler's Exchange looking for a vendor I found online to get some jewelry appraised. I couldn't find them, but passed by Sandy, who generously offered to search for them at another location. She was so kind and quick to help that I thought to myself, "Why go to someone I don't know and can't even find when Sandy is right here and so helpful?" I'm so thankful I did that! Sandy and her father, George, ended up taking over an hour to look at the items I had. They examined each item very carefully and explained what we had, its value, and what factors contributed to the value. They were very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. They welcomed our questions (we had a lot!) and were patient when we had even more. While there, Sandy offered to clean the several rings I wear, so now they all sparkle and shine.
