I've been scrapping for many yrs and Neil recycling has got to be the most honest , respectful & kind all while keeping it all very professional! They have one of the highest payouts for copper! This company employs thieves. My sister and I brought them some recyclables on a Saturday we were told there was a 3 day hold​ and to come back Wednesday, my sister went back and they asked her for her receipt she realized that they never gave one to her and asked to come back the next day. She and her husband returned the next day and were told that without the receipt it was considered a dump and were not going to give her the money $120.00 for the recyclables. This is not good business. They have terrible communication skills and customer relations. I will never return to them and highly suggest you don't either. ​ read more

The worst rip off place. they steal from people by false numbers and unpaid line items shown right on receipt. We had 5 barrels of #2 and got paid 0 dollars? How is that justified??? Neill's Recycling is probably the cleanest recycling center I have been to by far. The staff is friendly and work very efficiently. I would note that they get very busy on Saturday. So, if you can come by early during the week. They are open until 4 pm weekdays. read more

Note to self for next time.. bring gloves! Didn't know what I was doing at first but there are trash cans right out front to empty your loot into. They were kinda sticky so if you don't carry sanitizer, you might wanna glove up. Don't be like me and have a mixture of cans and plastic bottles mixed up, because they will make you separate them. Would have saved me about 10 minutes if I separated them beforehand. Overall, the fast and friendly staff made everything as smooth as possible. read more

Numerous times I have been treated with rude and unprofessional behavior. Driving there after work, I got there 10 minutes before they officially close, but was refused service and they would not take my recycling. TWICE THIS HAPPENED. Where is a better place to go...? Is there another recycling center that actually likes customers?! Please tell me that (terrible) Neil's isn't the only one around. They are bad. Period. read more

This place is the greatest for recycling. No nonsense business, you go and get your big bin cans and load up at your car. Then just get in line. Often no line at all because they're fast and everyone comes and loads at different times and speeds and has different amounts. They just keep it moving. When you're finished they give you a slip of paper with your total and you take this to the payment window where another person processes your payment. Not the guy who does your cans . Moves things faster. Back in your cars and leave. read more

Husband went to recycle and they told him they are closing in 10 minutes. They wouldn't let him load and tie down the rest of his bags because they wanted to close. They started to grab what he had to weigh without him there. My husband asked them to please wait and the response he got was curse words. They weighed what he had and gave him no ticket for the cashier. The cashier cashed him out with some curse words as well and told him to never return. So as he got no ticket he is not sure if he got cheated out of money for his recyclables. read more

Only recycle center really in this area that's not at a grocery store. They have longer hours on Saturday than most places which is a plus. The guys here are nice. They don't accept coupons on your phone so if you don't have a printer your out of luck on trying to get use a competitor coupon. I'm use to places giving more for recycles. I brought in 7 full extra large bags and I usually receive $43 to $46 but I only got $32 and some change here. I think it pays to drive further to the Recyclewise place in Perris. read more

I went the other day with just soda n beers cans and 16oz water bottles. I had 2 bags of cans (not smashed either) and 4 bags of the water bottles. Mind you they were in regular kitchen trash bags (Wal-Mart's finest brand too). I made $13.86. I was completely shocked and pleased. Have visited this place few times and every time i come here i feel like i get short changed. Brought a full 1/2 ton truck full, which filled up 8 and 1/2 of their trash cans of uncrushed aluminum cans, and 7 of their trash cans of plastic number 1. 1 can of oddball milk jugs, detergent etc... all this for 80 bucks. Really what a joke!!! I care for mother earth and going green but i think im going to just start throwing away in my recycle bin and have my trash take care of it. The gate was closed before 4pm and they wouldn't except my scrap aluminum because the guy in the back had already left and it was locked up. Ok!!! Horrible customer skills but I guess that's what you get from kids. Even the guy in the office was no help. They should just change their closed time to 3:30 since they didn't want to help me. read more

Absolutely horrible service. They take money off your recycling. For just one drop of liquid. 15% exactly. If it was full sodas or water bottles I'd understand but that's not the case. Never going back and I recommend no one else to this place. read more

I got about $10 per full trash can of aluminum cans (not crushed). That's about fair market value everywhere I've gone. Copper was a little on the low side but they were flexible about separating it. They are up front on the pricing, and it's really the only game in town.. Not bad for sun city! read more

I did like this place at one time but since they added cement and new buildings they went down hill. prices went down , service is gone. there are a lot of other places in Hemet. looks like it's time to move on.
