Definitely a dive bar, but it's such a vibe. The owner is fabulous & Jennifer (bartender) is amazing along with Nicole. The drinks are amazing! The food is a lot for what you pay for. Way too much food honestly. We had a great time!

I'm so mixed on how to rate this venue, but I actually believe I should try to some sort of reasonable recommendations. We were greeted by a nice lady and security at the door. The cover charge on Thursday is $10, and I arrived at 7 pm. There are multiple tables reserved so you can sit yourself to whatever is available. Our waiter came over with the menu and gave a few minutes to look it over. We told her it was our first time , and if she had any suggestions on food. She explained that she hadn't eaten anything on the menu, but a lot of guests ordered pizza and barbeque items. She also stated they were out of Steaks and Onion Rings. I asked if anything they were out of anything else. She said not that she was aware of. They have 2 options on the menu for fries. She explained that the house fries were freshly cut and made to order but would be an up charge. I asked if the tamales were made with beef and no pork, she said she believe its all beef. I explained we dont eat pork and she confirmed with kitchen it was no pork. We ordered the tamales, smoked turkey sandwich, brisket sandwich, 2 orders of house fries, catfish platter, long island, green tea shots and double shot of jack. Few minutes later she returned to say they were out of brisket. We ordered the honey gold wings instead. I also told her the Catfish basket would be a to go order. The smoked turkey, honey gold wings, house fries and drinks arrived. A few minutes later the hot tamales arrived. The smoked turkey was maybe thick sliced turkey lunch meat and heated on a flat top griddle. Nothing about the turkey was smoked. It had a sour taste in addition. The hot tamales were covered in chili and cheddar cheese. I've attached the menu that doesn't list Smothered or Covered hot tamales. The whole wings were pretty good in flavor, taste but quality/size was extremely small. The up charge freshly cut made to order fries were raw and undercooked. They had the texture of carrots. We sent the smoked turkey back and house fries. I asked what on the menu was fresh? Is the Catfish fresh? She said no, I told her to cancel that order. She said the pizza is fresh and made to order. I ordered the vegetables pizza. It arrived with no seasoning, no taste, vegetables raw, large sliced tomatoes and just not worth even eating. I didn't send it back. At this point we realize this place is GREAT for music, vibe and drinks ONLY! Sadly I would rate them a 5 based off the DJ but most people eat, dance, and drink. Unfortunately you might want to eat before you arrive.

Neil is a Memphis legend, and his bar is something you need on your bucket list! Staff is always friendly and attentive, and the live music is always great. Burgers and BBQ are great, as well as their daily lunch menu items.

Came here on Thanksgiving Day since it was the only option we could find in town, passing through on our way to Texas. The Thanksgiving dinner option was a good deal- $20 for a big platter of food, but it was lukewarm and had been sitting out in a buffet. They also ran out of cranberry sauce. It would have been better if it had been hot. When we walked in we didn't see a hostess and looked confused so one of the locals told us we could sit anywhere. We had to wait a few minutes before someone came over to take our order, but they were prompt in getting us our food. Thé pumpkin pie was also subpar and had more of a chunky texture.

With every bar being closed we stumbled upon this place and it was cool. They have pool tables with lots of seating. Music was okay. I got the chicken wings they were good but they was small as hell for 11$. And you only get 6. I was dead. But the drinks are STRONGGGG. Def good for a pre game spot.

This is a large sized neighborhood bar & grill .. karaoke in the evening and probably a good-sized crowd for sporting events. Food was good and affordable; service was excellent. Not hesitant to recommend it at all - Look forward to returning ... $22 lunch for two incl. drinks ...

My first visit to Neil's was a good one with lots of friends from St. Jude for a work party with my sweetheart. The band was great and the typical pub grub and beverages were pretty much as expected but the service was great. Neil's Music Room is billed as a performance & event venue. Their tout live music, cool cocktails & great food with hot home cooking. Their menu is offered Monday through Friday from 11:00am till 9:00pm with breakfast anytime you want it from 11am till 3:00am. They're known for their World Famous Onion Rings (Made the top 100 list in America) and alsi known for the Fat Guy Cheeseburgers and I our homemade pizza. They have regular specials Meat and Two - $7.95, Meat and Three - $9.95 & Veggie Plate - $8.95. They are known for lots of great live music and while it used to be VERY smokey in the past it's a smoke-free place with a nice deck outside as well. Karaoke is Monday nights with drink specials Note: Everythjng we've tried has okay but the BBQ was not so good. Kitchen is open late and that's a big bonus.

A note to our unkind waitress

From start to finish, Izzy, Samara, and their entire team delivered an experience that truly exceeded every expectation. Their professionalism and communication were outstanding throughout the entire planning process. They were proactive, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful--true problem solvers who made us feel completely supported and confident every step of the way. It was clear from the beginning that they genuinely cared about making this a meaningful and memorable evening for our family and the special couple. The private room was absolutely perfect--intimate, beautifully arranged, and very easy to personalize with our own decorations. It created exactly the warm and special atmosphere we had hoped for. The menu was another highlight: a wonderful variety of options with a refined, elevated feel, all at a very reasonable price point. Every guest found something they loved, and the quality of the food was consistently impressive. Most importantly, we do not have a single complaint--only an abundance of praise. Our guests are still talking about how fantastic the evening was. We are so grateful to Izzy, Samara, and the entire Bog & Barley team for helping us create such a joyful and unforgettable celebration.

Smooth and creamy. If I lived nearby, I would be here more often. It's a little on the expensive side, but well worth the price and experience. Just pointing it out to expect to pay, but also pointing out it was worth every cent.

But I was turned off by the lack of space downstairs & found it a little bit crowded and dull. They do offer an upstairs area that's a lot larger more equipped to hold events like karoke & poker. Which doesn't seem to be utilized much & should be used a bit more. It would be a lot more fun to enjoy entertainment in a spacious area over then being crowded & trying to find a seat. I really don't find it great for Football as I like to watch multiple games on other screens. I do really enjoy the grill as they offer a nice selection of bar classic favorites. I had the chicken strips with fries which I would consider order again. But with all the other classics it's hard to choose. I almost gave Sports Pub 3 over the upstairs not being utilized enough for weekend entertainment. This establishment has the potential has to be the most entertaining sports bar in the neighborhood. But utilization more of the upstairs would make this place my 2nd home i'd spend noon to close in almost everyday.

I just want parents to know up front that they do not have a kids menu. I asked what kid friendly options there were and our waitress suggested a few, but we decided on just a cheese pizza. This was for my 3 year old and he did not eat it, but neither did my other 2 kids (ages 7 and 11) when we brought it home. It had no seasoning and a very tomato taste. We got the poutine as an appetizer. I forgot a picture of it. My husband has had this before in Canada and he loved it. However, this one wasn't up to par. He enjoyed it, but said an authentic one is much better. I personally couldn't eat it. The gravy was just too weird. As a main course, I had the "Mikey Likes It" pizza. It was good if you like basil. It was very heavy on the basil. It was a bit burnt though. My husband had the special which was a chopped cheese. He said it was good, but nothing to brag about. I'm not a sauerkraut fan, the bite I had was good, but I wouldn't have been able to eat all of it. The fries as a side were good and crunchy. Overall, we probably won't be back. It's just not our style. Not our type of "fancy" food. This is one of those "mark of I've been there" things. Give it a try for yourself because it's not terrible.
