But still good Cabbage had a nice bite and was still slightly crisp, needed to cook down a bit longer to lose some of the sour taste. But still good. Found a table and had a seat and the service was so quick not even 5 minutes went by and we were approached by the very knowledgeable bartender and placed our order. Service was super quick! Pizza was 3 to me just a basic thin crust pizza something you would get in a movie theater. Tots was a 2 over cooked for my liking . If you like a bar atmosphere and smoking allowed, not too bad. Lots of locals that know one another and a little loud. I had the chef salad, it was really good and sever was nice (once she noticed me after a few minutes). Better than a chain which I try and shy away from ones if nothing local interests me. Went here on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at around 6:30 p.m. The bar was not too crowded and everything seemed good after sitting down. The bartender took my drink order and brought me a menu as I asked him to do. After ordering a hamburger and fries, I waited. The wait time was a bit longer than I expected, but I just rode it out and my food finally came out. It tasted okay and I finished and paid. When I got home, after about an hour or so, I became violently ill. I rarely get sick. However, this evening that hamburger and fries delivered what felt like an almost fatal blow. I was exploding from both ends. I had eaten only a light breakfast HOURS earlier. I had felt great all day. I know this food was the cause of my illness. Horrible experience! The waitress / bartender was snooty as hell! (Blonde hair, cut off tshirts arms and Coochie cutter short shorts) When we got there, we sat at the bar and a person already at the bar was eagerly trying to get her attention. He finally said HEY! WHAT IS YOUR NAME MAAM?! She told him and went on about her business. Another lady bartender came by and asked what he needed. That should have been my cue to leave then! We often pickup lunch there for the office. They have bottomed out. Food is too terrible to describe. That is why picture is attached. When you order food to go, they take what is left from previous meals and re-heat. The pork chops I got looked they were cooked in 1975 then thrown back in a deep fryer today. The smoke here is terrible. Unless you smoke and like breathing second smoke don't come here. The food is below average but not terrible.
