I have been a customer for 50 years and WOW has it become crappy. Now all calls go through Asia and if you order online for anyone other than yourself they CANCEL the Order--as suspicious. Good Luck shipping any Christmas presents to your grandkids from N.M. this year. I can't even get back to school clothes out. They have cancelled 4 times in one day. After being a loyal customer and card holder for over 10 years, last week I closed my two accounts and shredded my cards. I cannot patron a business which does not take ownership in researching and rectifying their mistakes. NM.com charged my NM account twice for a $895 pair of sandals in October, after hours of effort and persistence on my part, they FINALLY credited my account last week for the mistake. I didn't even check for the finance charges that may have incurred. I paid the balance on the card and said farewell, for good. NM is WAY behind the times anyways: *they JUST started accepting major creditors *their app platform is weak *slow shipping and refund turn around times *credit CS wait times are lengthy and limited, ends at 5PM PST *buyers are not at the cutting edge of fashion, just the $$$$ fashion *$25 perk card!?!? WOW. Big whoop. Your competitors are offering $100 free alterations and 5X the rewards *beauty department gals just haggle and are desperate at ALL stores, unappealing *rewards program and specials have a lot of fine print *sale selection online and in stores are THE worst, everything I have kept, has ALWAYS been full price items, b/c there are NO deals *if you shop in ONE store, there should be ONE consistent bag, not a lesser bag because you shopped in CUSP *your café, so overrated and inconsistent in food quality *final clue, their flagship is in Texas, their competitors, New York In the last few years my spending has migrated to the other fine retailers, who provide all the benefits, plus perfectly curated gorgeous items to add to my collection. It just took a really terrible experience for me to completely write them off. read more

The worst customer service I have experienced in a high end department store. Every time I go into their shoe department I get disappointed. They never have my size and the salesperson is always abrupt and rude. Not the same Neiman Marcus pre-Covid. read more

When I travel, I like to shop stores not found in Oregon, Neiman Marcus, like Macy have been around a long time. We opened a credit card with them, only because they're giving us 10% off for our purchase, that I REALLY NEEDED. We haven't used that card in like ages. But, somehow, I got lured into it again, when an Ad online offering Free Shipping, Free Return policy. So, I ordered two luxury items or the same category, same color with a plan to keep only one.. It arrived on time. I've already decided, one of those items is going back, since I'm a very picky shopper (the reason why I choose FS/FR when ordering anything online! My items were shipped 2 ways, and I was only given 1 return label. The 1-888# listed frequently online as well as my Purchase Order Slip, DOES NOT WORK. I tried again, the following day, maybe they're not open on Labor Day, but it still doesn't work. I went back online, maybe it's an old number, NOPE, it's the same posted online too! "Contact us 24 hours/7 days a week". I decided, the heck with that, I'll just use the shipping label and put in new information, cross out the typed info and mail it back. " Another feedback, that I probably don't want to repeat again, and sharing with you. FREE Return, FREE shipping, read the small prints: "Taxes apply to some orders. For a small percentage of orders--such as oversized items, items shipped from vendors, or shipments outside of the United States--shipping charges may apply. For complete delivery, shipping, return and exchange details, including cost and delivery time, visit. . ." BUT it didn't spell out - a restock fee may apply. UPDATE: The minute I got my ORDER, more junk mail arrived in the email address I've provided them. I am now in the process of 'unsubscribing' to each one, and they all offer Free Shipping/Free Return. I feel like pulling hair! As for the merchandise I bought, yes they fit me perfectly. Thank you! I just received my order ( perfume). And I was sent an empty tester bottle. I have been on the phone for 30 minutes trying to rectify this situation and all they are willing to do is send me a return label. This customer service is terrible I can't believe they treat their customers like this. read more

I worked for Neiman Marcus,it was seasonal work. I worked in the warehouse at 111 Customer Way Irving,TX 75039. It was years ago. I worked my ass off for that company. While I was there I gave them 110%. The pay was low and the supervisor was a Jerk and that's putting it nicely. I worked with the towels. I would rush my ass to and fro grabbing up body,hand and face towels to be embroidered. You had seconds to grab up every towel size needed. It got so bad that I had to do my own personal logging. To prove that I was already doing my job in a fast and timely manner. In the end Neiman Marcus won of course. My seasonal job ended and there were openings for full time positions. The jerk supervisor lied about my time and I was not hired full time. Happy ending to this is that, I later found a better job with better pay. read more

I was treated awful today after being a loyal and devoted customer for 15 years. Customer service was the worst and to make matters worst it was insulting! I was treated like a dog!! I always referred my family and friends to Neimans over the years but never again. I did not deserve that level of disrespect. I returned a package using Neiman Marcus' 'free' USPS service. After two weeks of calling NM trying to track the return, they finally told me that a third party shipper would pick it up at the post office. I had no guarantee when their shipper would pick it up from my post office so had to spend 40 minutes at my post office having them try to find my package in their backroom. Then when I contacted Neiman Marcus asking for a UPS or FedEx label, I was told it was not possible to do through their system. Which made returning the darn thing nearly impossible. So I went online and found the return address in Irving,TX, made my own label and shipped it off myself. If it's this difficult to return a product, I'll never buy something online from them again. read more

This is my first Yelp review since I don't want to review but, this one has to get off my chest. I've ordered this shirt https://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/peter-millar-mens-point-danger-check-plaid-woven-shirt-prod216800398 August 20, 2019. The link states it's a pink shirt "Made in Italy". It took 5 days for them to look and finally ship the item. The item arrived August 31, 2019. (11 day's really?) But yay! It finally arrived! Found out, it didn't match the description. It arrived with a blue and "Made in China" shirt. Then, I contacted NM Chat. Representative name Carlos, issued a return and told me "rest assured" that if I purchased it again, results would be the same as the description. I purchased it again. Boy was he's wrong. As it arrived again, September 09, 2019, same blue Peter Millar Shirt "Made in China" not the one I was looking for. I contact NM Chat again, guy by the name of Alfredo, said there is some issue but, I decided to contact NM Supervisor on the phone suggested by Alfredo. I contacted the "General Manager" (forgot her name darn!) she told me their was an issue with the vendor and their was a miscommunication in the details of the products. She said my situation was rare and then she offered me to look for a new shirt or submit a return. I told her that, at least she should give me an incentive for this situation. She refused, saying she did offered me to look for a new shirt (which I assume I have to pay extra) and a return. She quickly try to end the call after that by saying, "Ohh well, thank you for contacting Neiman Marcus, Have A Good Day!" I'm sure she meant, thank you for contacting Neiman Marcus, have a bad day...... Verdict: The operations and the Customer Service of Neiman Marcus is like talking to a Potato. No incentives, discounts, accommodations especially after a "rare" situation like this? How do you run a business when you don't put customer first? Take a look at amazon.com, that's how you run an online business. I was excited about Neiman Marcus hence, this was my first purchase from them. I'm extremely disappointed about the situation. I think, I'll give Neiman Marcus a second chance regardless of the situation. read more
