Bad customer service. I went in there with my sister and were shopping for clothes. One of the sales women there doesn't greet us but follows us to every corner of the store. I started walking back and forth to see if she was following us and she was! She even cornered us in a section and just kept staring at us while we shopped as if we were stealing. Then another older woman came after talking to her and confronted us by saying "Don't touch the clothes and careful to not spill your drink." with such an attitude when we didn't even spill anything or get anything dirty! Was genuinely looking to purchase a dress here but was treated like a 7 year old. Never coming here again. The workers here act like we're not good enough to shop here or something. read more

The customer service here is wonderful. The sales associate I had here is from the Bay Area as well, and she was reminiscing her bay area days with us. She found out we were newlyweds and she was was one too and we were talking about our weddings. Unfreakin' believable! This is the ONLY NM store that I've ever experienced some customer service from...and good customer service at that! We strolled into the LV boutique, and while I know these folks work for LV, they were very nice. We ended up buying a couple of purses. We then went to look at the Chanel sunglass counter, and the gal was really helpful and nice. We chatted for a bit, specifically about why customer service at the Palo Alto and San Francisco stores is so horrendously bad/non-existent! Haha. Conveniently located at the corner of the mall on the central strip side. good variety of product and I like the boutiques inside in the handbag section for LV, Prada, Gucci and Chanel. I went to try on a pair of Valentino heels in the women's shoe section. I was asking the sales lady a few questions and mid-sentence she said excuse me and walked away. Louis Vuitton in this store sucks. Yeah do NOT buy LV from here. Their store reps and managers have absolutely no idea what they are doing. I feel like they are just living mannequins and no more. Instead go to the actual Louis Vuitton store in the same mall and their service is much much better. I usually never post anything. But I am a bit tired of the attitude of the old lady that serves the kids department at neiman Marcus. I am loyal customer and I always spend a good amount of money when I shop there. I bought everything from my stroller, to my diaper bag... For my baby list. The people usually know me by my name. I have to say, that I have been less going lately because of that sales lady. She is an old lady with short hair ( I don't know her name). She never says hi! When you ask for help, she is not nice and takes her time. Never a smile! NEVER! You would think that since she is at the kids section she would be nice with the kids, but she doesn't give a crap of them. Just one word, lady find an other job! Just went today, I said hi. She was with a co-worker ( younger girl, really nice). And nothing. The co-worker acknowledged me...! She also was rude with my nanny!!! I will complain to her manager next time I go in if her attitude doesn't change... You expect good service in that store, but she doesn't give it, I know that it does not represent neiman Marcus brand, since everybody else is nice. But I had to speak this one out! read more

I've never had a bad experience here. My usual area is around the Chanel counters (and the little Chanel boutique). Everyone is always extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. I've never been treated remotely poorly (and if I was it would make a lot more sense than being treated like a hobo at Dillard's). The sales staff aren't pushy and stuffy at all. I'm here every couple months to look for new make-up staples and the staff is always happy to help. I would never go to any other Chanel counter to shop after being treated like royalty here. read more

Perfect for mommy and daughter time. This, unlike most neimans, accept visa and mastercard so that was new to me (usually use amex or cash). Location is great as well, in the cluster of the fine department stores on the side of the mall and not in the middle. Plus, the last time I went, there were many racks that made it look like an outlet.... which isn't necessarily a good thing because as we all know: cheap things attract tourists! *sigh* read more

Leore was able to provide info on a particualr scent, that even the Tom Ford salesperson in Crystals could not provide for me the day before (when I purchased it). Leore was not forceful and we walked around the store with the scent cards and cologne on us - we returned to make our purchase and Daisy helped us! What a great experience. Tom Ford Cosmetics-Cathy at the counter helped me so much with something that I was not even aware that I needed help with...Beard Oil. Who would have known? I was walking by when she simply said "hello", after a few words of small talk she helped me understand how important it was to properly maintain my newly grown beard. I am sold on my new find "oud wood"! Cathy told me that she was out of the oil but has already called me to tell me that the oil is in, now that's service! I ended ordering a couple of things for friends at work. Had I not stopped and talked to Cathy, I can't say I would have the need to go to the counter otherwise. read more

The CEO of Neiman Marcus (the new one) really needs to do Under Cover Boss for this location to find out why it is such a mess compared to other Neiman Marcus stores. I wish I had taken pictures of the walls, floor, display fixtures, and bathrooms to prove my point. First off, the carpeting in the shoe department is disgusting and falling apart (I did not want to take my shoes off for fear that my feet would need to touch the carpet) - and it was the excuse I was given when I asked for a new pair of shoes and not the display shoes, being informed that the bottoms of the shoes look like that because of the carpet. I am not paying hundreds of dollars for shoes that look like someone wore them and returned them. The women's lavatory on the first floor has wall paper peeling, lights burned out and missing bulbs, and just generally old and ugly counters, sinks, and toilets. Since all three stalls were gross, I went up to the other bathrooms on the second floor - better but not by much. When is the last time this place was renovated? Doesn't the general manager understand luxury, or even basic upkeep - my bet is that he/she does not even step foot into the bathrooms... but then again as you read on, a blind eye is turned throughout the store ... or maybe Neiman Marcus just does not care anymore. I can only imagine how disgusting the mens room must be - and to be noted, the baby change room does not have a door?!? This place is so outdated that you can even see where the pay phones must have been by the elevators. This store is nothing like and other Neimans I have experienced before. Even the walls and dressing rooms are old and disgusting ... even in the Chanel area! The upstairs Mariposa restaurant apparently closed, but I guess no one told management because it is still there but the doors are locked. I wonder if the boss's boss ever visits this store, and what they look at. Or if the staff, knowing that a big boss is in town cleans everything up before the visit? Seriously saddened by selection. Just like at Saks in the same mall, they had nothing in my size and wanted my to order it - sorry, this is Vegas and I want something for tonight. My only positive is that the staff that said hello were pleasant. read more

A bald headed fairly dark skin toned sales associate in the young men's department surely does not know anything about customer service and respectful behavior. He also doesn't realize that customers are the main reasons why businesses survive thus allowing them to pay their employees a wage and commission. What tickles me funny is how he must have felt the need to express a snobbish attitude but at the same time he works in a MALL as a RETAIL PERSON. As a previous retail salesperson and a current designer, I have never felt the need or requirement to be rude and a total jackass to customers. I was almost going to buy a couple of pair of jeans but while trying on different sizes and styles, I was annoyed by his attitude the whole time that I kept thinking, "why should I spend my money on something that will help him earn a commission?" TURNED OFF. Well, buddy you lost a sale and I surely hope you learn a few new manners and adjust your attitude because you clearly do not possess any acceptable customer service etiquette. I have always found a great selection and in the past have been greeted promptly upon entering each department. I must say though, that the last several times I have shopped at NM I have been less than impressed with the customer service. This holiday season I have been to the shoe department, the fragrance counter, various cosmetics counters, and the David Yurman jewelry counter. DY and La Mer were the only place where I found a sales associate without their nose inches from a mobile phone. It is my understanding that each associate has a "company phone" which they use to contact clients and do various work related tasks. However, it is VERY off-putting to be physically present in a store and being made to wait while the associate finishes a text message or email. I completely understand NM wanting to stay abreast of current technology, but there must be a more professional way to do so. read more

This lady that is employed at this Neiman Marcus was extremely rude to my family and I. I was invited to attend a wedding last minute and work a ton so I tried to rush over to the Fashion Show Mall to purchase a dress. I looked in many stores and had no luck. We can to this store not knowing it closed at 8pm. (Online it says fashion show closes at 9pm) so as we looked around this older lady with straight long white hair rudely commented that they were closed. She had an attitude and the most disgusted look on her face. I'm sorry that you hate your job and want to go home very badly but this store has lost my business because of her. Horrible customer service. Horrible!! I placed an order online and it said available for pick up, same day. 5 hours later, haven't gotten an email confirmation. So I called to see what the status is. I got transferred to CS and the lady that answered was no help. She said it takes 2-3 days for it to be processed and ready for pick up, explained to her that prior to placing the order, I made sure items were available for pick up SAME DAY. She said no, if I didn't get the email therefore it's not ready, with an attitude. She transferred me to cosmetics and said they could probably help. She didn't even bother asking for order # to check the status! When I got transferred to cosmetics, first lady said she has to pass the phone to someone who knew more about the items I ordered. The 2nd person said she knows nothing about online orders as she only works in cosmetics and transferred me back to customer service. Horrible! Horrible!! Just horrible. read more

The store is very clean and had very nice merchandise. I arrived with my husband to show him some items I had viewed online and in the women's department the sales people where hurdled in a group and it felt like they were sizing us up. No greeting just staring at us and it felt like they were taking about us? Maybe not? but that's how it felt. We bailed out if that department and headed over to check out the restaurant. Same thing standing at the door and no greeting. We noticed the children's department was right there and began to look. Again sales team just hurdled talking. I am not going to spend that kind of money and be ignored. That was my first visit to the clothing side of store in Las Vegas and I live here. Won't be back. I do love the staff at the Louie Vuitton located inside this store they have always assisted me top notch and the staff at the make up counter is amazing. . We headed over to Nordstrom's and had fun shopping for clothes. It's hard to believe that employees have nothing more to do than stand in groups chatting. i've been to the neiman marcus in san francisco before and most sales associates there don't give you the time of day because they don't think you can afford to buy anything in the store... totally different experience in the LV store... went there to check out their bugaboo selection, and it was a pretty large selection... even more variety then their SF counterpart... the sales person was very courteous... chatted with us for 15 minutes... showed us the new denim chameleon and went on and on about their new paul frank bugaboo merchandise... i didn't buy anything that day, but when i went back the following day i did purchase one of their bugaboo bags... very good shopping experience in this particular store... h-100... read more

I love this place. I've always had good experiences when I shop there. I have never had a snobby sales person in any department. Love the cosmetics area. The old saying that you get what you pay for is really true. I went to Keith at the LaMer counter today and had a makeover. I love LaMer and I love Keith's knowledge. I now have an entirely new routine for make-up and I love the way Keith listens to what you have in mind. He is awesome. I bought a lot, but I love what I have and I love the look.
