The back was buckled, drawers moved poorly, veneer on the sides was cracking and buckling off. They did such a beautiful restoration job. The chests gleam, the drawers move smoothly, the wood is a joy to touch, the veneer carefully bolstered. They kept to the original wood as much as possible, adding small pieces where there were gaps in drawer bottoms or where shims were needed. They made the right choice in choosing not to refinish the hidden face of the bottom chest, protecting records inked into the wood by and about the original purchaser. We'll definitely bring other antiques we inherited to the brothers, and highly recommend their work to others.

The place is huge! It is pretty well organized. There is furniture throughout. There is a section for bathtubs---beautiful old clawfoot bathtubs. Oh yes, there is a section of just clawfeet too! There are tons of old doors, windows, reclaimed wood, cabinets, hardware, and so much more. I could spend hours in that place. And don't worry, I will. It was pretty cold in there today and my partner in crime was being a baby so I had to dillydally and linger less than I wanted to. The prices as marked were highish, but they are probably negotiable. I've got my mind on several pieces so I will update when I go back.

I've been going there on and off for years and years and I am so happy it is still in business. I have a plethora of different objects from Woodware - from a Santa tree carving to a wooden bunny ornament to a Mbira - everything is hand crafted and as beautiful as can be. The owner is super friendly and always warmly welcomes us into the store. His father used to do most of the wood carvings, and still does a good amount, but I noticed last time I was there that some of the wood trinkets were imported. Fine by me though! You can definitely feel the amount of love and care that went into each wood product. Every piece is different in its own unique way and that is so very cool. They sell everything - wooden bowls, salad tongs, chairs, tables, wood "paintings," chopping boards, rocking chairs, etc. They also sell beds, mattresses, lamps, and other regular household items. It was another salesman now bringing another couple over to display the sofa. He continued to point and press buttons with my son & I sitting there with zero disregard for any personal space. And the that him playing with buttons and knobs without consideration for the effect it was having on my son & I. I got up and we left, making mention to Ben on our way out. We love our new furniture--but the customer service experience was disappointing…read more My husband and I were excited to purchase a new bedroom set. After comparing prices, we found that Burlington Furniture was quoting us $2,000 more than a California company, even with shipping and assembly included. Still, we wanted to support a local business, so we returned to Burlington Furniture, and they agreed to match the competitor's price. We were given an estimated delivery date of 4/30. When we followed up, we were surprised to hear that our furniture wouldn't arrive for nearly two more months. We understand that delays happen, but we were frustrated by the lack of communication. I called the manager to get clarity and was told that the employee who gave us that update was no longer with the company. She promised to follow up--which she did--but she didn't provide a new delivery timeline. Instead, she told us the order wasn't actually delayed and that deliveries typically arrive two weeks after the estimated date. It's unclear why the original estimate wouldn't account for that window, and what's worse, I never heard back from the manager again. Ultimately, the delivery company brought our furniture just five days after the estimated date, which we appreciated--but the poor communication and lack of accountability from Burlington Furniture left a bad impression. We're happy with the product, but extremely disappointed in the service. Sadly, this experience has cost Burlington Furniture a customer.
