First, they installed an expensive maple handrail with a terrible sanding and staining job and a dark black blemish. I had to ask them to replace it and re-sand other portions of their handrail install that were sharp and had splinters. Second, Warren assured us that he would return to refinish our stair treads shortly after installing our railings and spindles. I wanted to do the railing, spindles and treads all at once, but Warren insisted that they needed to break up the project, but that he would be readily available to complete the job. As it turned out, this was a lie and I had been duped with a bait-and-switch. Warren then proceeded to continually cancel and not show up to finish the work for the next two months. The final straw came when he called at 6:30 a.m. on the day he was supposed to arrive (2 months AFTER the job was supposed to be completed) and claimed that he never agreed to remove our old runner rug, and that WE had to do that first before he would finish the stair treads. I ended up firing Woodline and finding a more competent and dependable company to finish the job. I am just sorry I spent over $10,000 first.

I really had always loved the rug which was in my childhood home in our living room. I remember crawling on the ever so soft high piled pale and beautiful rug as a toddler. With such sentimental attachment as it reflected my Mothers personality which was vibrant but also soft and classic..I asked Aaron what could he possibly do to save it. He said he would try and treat it with kid gloves in the several step process of trying to restore and resurrect it. He promised he would communicate as time went on as it was so fragile and old and taking a risk.
