I tried the Açaí superfood protein power bowl with some added peanut butter and it was excellent with apples, blue berries, strawberries, cocoa nibs on an açaí base that was blended with greens and other fruits. My daughter and I visit this Nekter juice bar frequently. First off, a huge shout out to the employees because they are so kind. They remember us each time and want updates on how things are going (like when my daughter was trying to get into a school and she got in so the gave her a free ice-cream bowl to say congrats). We've tried the juices, smoothies, bowls and protein bites so far. I've seen many buying the celery juice cleansers (they have to go bundles). You can go in to order, order on the app, call, get drive up service (it's 2 parking spaces in front of the store). The store is very new and clean so it's a bummer Covid hit or we'd love to hang out there and sip juice. No fault over the store, but it's a small, crowded parking lot being next to Starbucks so just be careful driving in and out. So come to find out after enquiring why... these ignorant and incompetent employees told me that bowls are harder to make than the blended items so they made all of the easy stuff first, and it took 45 minutes to receive my order. Spent over $50 on 4 items and had to wait 45 minutes.... ridiculous. Untrained, ignorant, incompetent staff including the shift manager as they did not even understand as to why their strategy was a poor choice. NEVER AGAIN... as they also would not give me the owners contact information so I could let them know what kind of a cluster they were running at this location. Also, we are incentivized to come in by some of the coupons and offers we receive as loyalty members. Today, the app specifically told us to "check in before we pay." We did, and it somehow caused a glitch in the system, keeping us from being able to use a BOGO 50% off. The bowls aren't inexpensive, so these offers are very attractive. Instead of manually adjusting the price, we had to pay the full price. We accepted and moved on because there was a long line forming. This isn't the first time something like this has happened so I thought it was worth posting this time around. All in all, we love this place and will come back.
