My husband and I have been Pressed Juicery customers since 2014 and have visited many locations across different states. Over the past 12 years, we have literally purchased hundreds of Freezes, so we are very familiar with what a standard size 2 portion looks like. Our first visit to the Scottsdale Quarter location was disappointing. The Freeze serving size was noticeably smaller, approximately half of what we've consistently received at other Pressed Juicery locations. At the time, we didn't say anything to the server, but we did feel disappointed considering the price of $18 for two Freezes. We recently visited the Scottsdale Quarter location again on June 27th while shopping in the area, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, we had the same issue. The product did not even reach the rim of the cup, and the portion size again felt significantly smaller and a rip off. This time, I politely brought up the difference in portion size and shared photos as proof of what is consistent across several other Pressed Juicery locations compared to what we received at Scottsdale Quarter. The response I received was dismissive, and with an attitude the employee stated that this was the "correct" portion size. We will not be returning to this location. I would recommend visiting a different location to get a portion size aligned with $8.95 per cup and not served with a bad attitude. I've loved Pressed Juicery since I first went to an OG location in Palo Alto in the Bay Area. Not sure what year that was, sometime back in the 2010s. I've always liked their products. And they've always been pricy but I think now the price point has leveled out with the rest of the healthy juice & food options out there and so it seems pretty normal now. $6 for a juice and I don't blink an eye personally but that's cause I've been paying for these types of things for a while. I was shopping around Scottsdale Quarter and was really looking for a coffee when I happened upon Pressed -- juice sounded refreshing on this extremely hot March day so I ventured in. The juicery when you enter was very stark and kind of cold. The menu was very small on the board above the registers so hard to see and then decide they did have some printed menus that you could look at but because there was someone behind me I was feeling pressure to decide -- they had acai bowls and some frozen yogurt I think but I needed a refreshing drink -- with a pick me up -- but because there were just so many things and it was so overwhelming I decided to go with the "Just Flow" which briefly was touted as a way to calm your day (duh I wanted a pick me up but got something to mellow me out --oops!!) -- but I couldn't really see what "juice" was in it and didn't realize it was sour cherry -- and that wasn't really that good -- it was sour as you would expect. Also when I looked back at the menu the refresher was supposed to have added blueberries but I guess they didn't have any because I had strawberries. Also I nearly fell over when they announced the total cost $8.95 plus tax!! Dang that is a lot for some juice -- I need to invest in a juicer!! I selected the cleanse pack #4 with smoothies and I am very glad that I did because generally when I do my cleanses I make juice, salad and soup containing detoxifying ingredients, so the liquid fast was a lot for me. The smoothies provided were perfect to keep me moving through the 3 days. I placed my order online and I appreciated that as well. However, I was under the impression the pick up location was Fashion Square which confused me with an 8 am pick up time, since the mall opens at 10. I was surprised to learn it was actually at the location up North. I was late. I found the location and went to grab my juice, it was a good encounter picking up my 3 day cleanse. The inside of the establishment felt clean and fresh. I was given my bags and on my way I went. The juices were good and I do feel grateful that this eliminated any effort on my part. This business took the place of Menchie's, which is a positive change. My friend had been here before and like their freezes, so we stopped in one evening to get some. I got their smore's one and my friend got their cookie one. My dessert came with vanilla soft serve but I swapped it for chocolate instead, and it was topped with chocolate chips, marshmallows, and granola. I love that everything is vegan! It was pretty tasty as well. My friend enjoyed her sundae and got it with a vanilla and chocolate swirl. Got the freezes but the flavors are really strange for me. First the Rosé and I really don't like the flavor. I can't identify what the ingredient is - the strawberry is mixed with a super strong but watery flavor of like apple cider and it's very unsettling. I asked the attendant for a second flavor since I really didn't like the first flavor. They were pretty helpful in switching it out, albeit dissatisfied. I got the dragonfruit second. This is pretty weird too. There's a grainy oatmeal flavor/texture that overpowers any mango or dragonfruit flavor. There was no fruity flavor in this. read more

They never ask you if you have a membership, therefore when you make a purchase you end up missing out on earning points, etc. Also, for the price you pay for a freeze they really skimp out on the toppings! Came here with my sister for a quick dessert. The guy behind the counter was very accommodating to me asking to try the acai and passion fruit flavors. I decided on the acai split with vanilla for a size 1. I added cookie crumbles, cacao drizzle, and chocolate chips. I really liked the vanilla flavor even though it doesn't taste like a typical vanilla bean or French vanilla. So don't go in expecting it to be like vanilla, but I liked it better.
