Every caregiver we've met treats the residents with respect, kindness, and genuine compassion. The facility is always clean, peaceful, and welcoming, with lovely outdoor areas that provide a real sense of calm and home. What means the most to us is the personal attention given to each resident. Our loved one is not just a number here--they are truly known and cared for. We've seen a noticeable improvement in their mood and quality of life since moving in, and that kind of peace of mind is priceless. Evergreen Palms has become an extension of our family, and we couldn't recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and professional senior care environment.

The facility, once a welcoming and well-run community, has suffered from poor leadership, lack of transparency, and a noticeable decline in professionalism. Veronica consistently fails to communicate important information with families, often keeping crucial details hidden or changing policies in a way that confuses memory care residents. Her lack of social awareness and engagement is evident--she appears nervous and uncomfortable when speaking, avoids direct interactions by staying in her office, and does not take the time to truly know residents or their families. Rather than taking responsibility for the facility's issues, she deflects blame onto others and delegates her responsibilities, which has negatively impacted staff morale and overall care quality. Since she took over, we have seen an increase in concerns, including visits from Adult Protective Services and multiple families forced to relocate their loved ones due to poor communication and unprofessional management. Before Veronica's tenure, our loved one was thriving in a positive, supportive environment with dedicated staff. Now, that level of care has declined, and the once-excellent team seems stifled under her leadership. This facility desperately needs leadership that prioritizes residents' well-being and open, honest communication with families as this was prior to this new manager starting. We truly hope Citrus Heights Terrace addresses these concerns before more families feel the need to make difficult decisions to leave for their loved ones' care.

I asked her how she liked it, and she graciously shared her experience. She mentioned that her dad has been living there for almost a year, and although she lives out of state, she has been able to receive updates, which puts her mind at ease since their family moved him in. Although my mom was never able to move in (she passed away in the hospital), I knew this would have been the perfect place for her. When Daniel found out about my mom's passing, he sent flowers to my family. He truly cares, and I appreciate how involved his family is. During my tour, I was offered a plate of fresh fruit and encouraged to enjoy tea with the family. It's the little details that matter to me. Thank you, Daniel, for being so kind during a tough time in my life.

The residents there are super nice and we talked to each of them to make sure they enjoyed being there and they definitely did. The place is clean, new and current and the staff is so friendly, professional and responsive. The food is homemade, fresh everyday. This is a family owned well run business and it's apparent that the owner and his family cares for the residents. My Mom already told me multiple times how different family owners spent time with her just talking with her. To me that's above and beyond the call of duty, and she loves it there. They communicate when needed to make sure my Mom is taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to bring your loved one here.

Who put this guy in charge, he's not good with the residence or the staff. I have no idea why he's there, just to make things worse? The health of several residents have declined all the best employees have left or been fired pretty sure they're sacrificing some employees to cover for incompetence and neglect in hopes to save their own skin, but the problems are still there because he doesn't have the leadership skills necessary to fix anything just make things worse. It's like whoever hired Hunter Biden for Burisma put Danny in charge. I know he's gotta be somebody's friend that needs money, but he's not good enough. Get him out of there!!!

Also a bit annoyed that the community management team does not follow basic privacy policies. The entire move in process into the community was a bit of a shit show with the sales director giving us the wrong move-in date and the room not being ready on the agreed upon day. My client lost her keys and went to the front desk to ask to be let into her room and the front desk rudely lectured her about how she shouldn't loose her keys! Ummm, this is assisted living, people live here because they need help. She literally argued about calling a Med tech or care giver to let her into the room. Very basic things seem to be out of grasp for this community! Terrible service from management at every interaction. Would not recommend!

NOT THE TERRACES OF ROSEVILLE. This location is beautiful, the staff is caring, and I have never heard anything short of loving, caring comments from the team. Don't get me wrong, a couple of staff members are aloof, but most do not have regular contact with those currently housed here. My GG is 102 and has been here for years. I firmly believe that the assistance of the Terraces Team, up to and including their stringent rules on COVID-19 visitations, made this a very safe place for all elderly loved ones. I can only hope that when I am old and gray, I will have a group of people who love their job and the people they work with so much that I am taken care of like this.

My grandpa loves the food, and there is always activities and social events happening. Everything from monthly road-trips to special music guests. They really put forth the effort to make things fun for the residents. We toured other homes, but The Terraces stood out to us because of their clear communication and transparency. They have gone above and beyond for my grandpa since day one, they even sent someone out to West Sacramento to meet with him when he was in the hospital for physical rehab. It was very stressful looking for a new home for him, but we are very happy we chose The Terraces for this new chapter of his life. They encourage him to be independent, but are still right there in case he needs assistance. Couldn't ask for more!
