It was an easy transaction online and we drove to Dean Martin to pick up our products. We just pulled up to a parking spot and an attendant will come to our window and take our name and verify the orders info. It was quick. Well our items were small items. We purchased a dog harness and an iPad case. Both were delivered to our car within minutes. unlike other auction location where we had to go search for the items ourselves and check out, this was different. The staff go get our stuff and bring it to our car. Easy peeezy! The entire transaction took less than half hour and we drove off. Thank you for doing a great job Nellis Auction staffs!! I really love browsing through the auction and finding some awesome deals on things I want and need. Warning: it can get quite addicting LOL. Overall, I have had a great experience. Ordering/paying online, scheduling a pick up, the pick up process, and return process are all well done and all easy to do. There have been times when I have gone to pick up my items and when I parked a worker was immediately there to help me before I could even scan the QR code to check in on the sign; awesome service. There has been a few items that were not inspected that I have purchased in the past and were damaged or missing pieces, even though they were marked as a 5 star on the auction and with no damage. That has been my only deal breaker part of the experience. But other than that, I have gotten some great finds and have really found value in this place. read more

I've been a customer for a little over 2 years now and most of my experience thus far have been positive EXCEPT for the last two items I've purchased-- both on separate orders. First and foremost, we have a 7 day window to return items if we are dissatisfied which is understandable, but I believe this shouldn't apply when items are not as they are described.. I am talking about when they are described as NEW. Cool, maybe it was a return and it's not in its original packaging. I get that but I am under the impression that each item is thoroughly inspected before they are posted for bidding. Boy was I wrong! And I know this why? I bought a set of 3 Wedding Arch Covers for my baby shower. Again, it was listed as new, undamaged, functional, etc- had all the green lights to give me the impression that I needn't have to worry about my purchase. I didn't think to inspect it because I had good faith that the company I've bought from so many times would actually do its due diligence and not scam or wrong its customers. I was a few days past the 7 day grace period when I started to unpack my winnings. I was confused at first because I unpacked 3 rectangular sheets or table covers and then noticed that not only was it not the item described but it was USED and STAINED. I literally gagged how gross this was. They didnt even check to see if it was the actual item when they got it in their inventory? What kind of company cuts corners and then sells these items without verifying it to their customers beforehand? That to me is not good business and it tells me that they don't care what they sell to their customers as long as they are selling it. I then contacted their customer service via email to see if I can even get some type of reimbursement. I don't care. Give me store credit-- WHATEVER. But then I get an email a few days later saying that I can't get a refund or anything because of the 7 day grace period. What?! For an item that they OBVIOUSLY didn't verify was legit and was careless enough to sell regardless. I am just so pissed off. What kind of customer service is that?! I won't be shopping here anymore. But I want to warn everyone not of their return policy but how bad this company is by not ensuring they are selling quality and inspected goods to their customers. They only care about selling at the expense of selling, no matter the outcome and an inconvenience it is to their customers to return something that wasn't what was described. Be careful and make sure to check first before leaving. Things have been listed as new then you forget to check after 7 days and find out its damage and used. Tried to contact customer service and nothing. NO RESPOND.....they just ignore you....SUCKS!!! Used to be better!!! Plus its just a waste of time to pick it up and return it. I've heard about Nellis Auction, but had never dealt with them myself until about two weeks ago. Now I know why people can get obsessed with this place. Wow! They literally have so much you could want to buy and bidding is fun! I've already purchased two items from them for so much cheaper than I would at other places. I bought a game that was listed as "used," which was fine with me because it was still cheap, but when I picked it up, I was happy to see that it hadn't even been used by the previous owner. The only thing that person did was break the plastic seal on two of the game pieces--score! This location is the furthest from me, but I was happy to learn that there is another one in my neighborhood. I've already been to that one to pick up one of the purchases that I had a winning bid on. The pick-up process is easy, too. You make an appointment for pick-up. Upon arrival, you just park in a designated space and one of the employees brings your item to you without you ever having to get out of your vehicle. Now I just need to exercise restraint from buying up more things that I don't need, regardless of how good the price is. Wish me luck. read more

Hi, my name is Kayla, and I have a new Nellis Auction addiction. But really though.... this place is DANGEROUS (in the BEST way!). My sister just recently moved into a new place, and was telling me she's been using it to purchase some items, so I decided to browse the website. This place literally has EVERYTHING! The only thing that would be worse is if it had an app... then I would really have a problem. I have in the past bet on things, but backed out last second or was outbid the last second, but this was the first time I actually went through with a purchase and I'm so glad I did! I got a fake olive tree for $20! WHAT?! Those things usually go for like $100+ on Amazon (seriously, why are fake plants so dang expensive). They do add a 15% charge on top, because they do have to make money, which I get. But honestly, what a STEAL! The pickup process was even easier than I thought. You have a week to make an appointment and pay to pick up your items. You drive up, pull into a spot, scan the QR code, and someone brings your items directly out to you. Easy peasy! You don't even have to get out of the car!! They make it so simple. I was so satisfied with my purchase, decided to order some other items at their North Las Vegas store, too haha. Chaos is the best way to describe it. If you are going to make traffic only one way, then you need to do a better job of directing traffic. When there is nowhere to park, what are you supposed to do, you have to turn around at some point? Was nearly hit 4 times, because one of your people is telling cars to back out and the other person is telling them to stop. Which is it? If you do decide to bid on an auction, make sure you read everything carefully. There are a lot of discrepancies between the description and the title. Title says pair (which means 2 and the picture has 2 items in it), but the description says single. Which one is correct?? Don't think I ever want to experience that mess again. read more

They sell items that are not mentioned as being damaged, missing pieces & just straight up the wrong item vs what they advertised as being auctioned. They load your items so you don't know the condition until you've left. I was visiting from out of state so due to time restrictions I couldn't even dispute the damaged items, items missing parts & the straight up wrong pictured items. I think they do this intentionally & that's why they have you stay in your vehicle & bring items packed then load it in your car. Used to be really loyal to this place. I have been coming here for over 10 years, but after my last order, I won't come here again. In my order was a bag of kinetic sand. I thought "Great! A $35 dollar of kinetic sand for $8." Now, it did say that it was open and used, but never in my wildest imagination did I also think that it was going to be mixed with dog feces and urine. After the package was place in my car and I was driving home, I noticed an odor in my car. Upon arriving home, I noticed that the bag of sand, now brown from being played with so much, had spilled and THAT was the odor. I was gagging as I was cleaning up my car. Left a customer service email and still have not heard back. Do not shop here. At this point, it's a health hazard. read more

Used to love this site. Bought all my things here. Lights, decorations, kitchen items, garden items. It was great. Now..... things are being labeled as 5 star or "new" items and not even being reviewed or looked at. I have been getting items with stains, rips and incomplete items with missing pieces. And a new one takes the cake..... just opened a box and my item was covered in MOLD. COVERED! I understand that you are bidding on items and they might not be perfect. But if I'm bidding on a 5 star "new" "unopened" "complete" item, that's what I expect to get, am I wrong?? I'm so disappointed by their service or lack of. Everything, almost. I have bought atleast 10 things from Nellis. And only one item that I have won didn't coincide with what the description read. It might not of been there fsult either. It was a kicking bag. Where you put the sand in had a hole on the inside divider that separated the bottom from top. But all the rest that I have bought has been excellent, on description, price, and the recieving part of it. Really easy to navigate the site, and it only takes about a min. The problem I think with Nellis is LAZINESS, many products that are defective, returned with valid complaints and even things brought to the attention of employees, are not updated on the system. For example here is 100 5" rounds of sandpaper I bought, felt light so I opened in the parking lot to check to see, there was not one new piece of sandpaper but used pieces that were returned. I showed the employee, they only said they'll take the return. 2 days later this same item number shows back up for auction!!! If they took a little time to ban people who abuse the system, clean up the garbage floating on their sites, and put up better descriptions of what's in the packages. They would save a lot of time, not only for themselves, but to everyone driving to the location to pick up garbage that they have to return in less than 7 days. read more

I am almost obsessed! This is the coolest thing. You can find some incredible finds here for a fraction of the cost! Unless someone wants to have a bidding war with you. Which can get intense! But sometimes, it's for the best. So don't yell at the other bidder. lol. So far, I've purchased many many items from Nellis Auction, and I've never gotten a product that was broken or missing parts. Although, on several occasions, I didn't read the full description and bought something completely different than what I thought I was buying. Don't go by the pictures alone! Always read the description. Picking up is super simple! You pull up, check in, and out comes your stuff. The hardest part is navigating through the traffic of all those other bidders you were probably yelling at before. lol I think this is the greatest thing and I love it! read more

Customer service online needs some work. I reached out after purchasing a faulty product. The item was listed as functional but did state that it was missing parts. After looking it up, the product typically comes in 4 boxes, and I was told they only had 1 out of 2 as listed. That was not listed bar time of purchase and it's completely incorrect. I would have returned but you only have 1 week and unfortunately I did not have the time to set up the product. As far as the location, it is made for quick and easy pick up so thats a plus. The only reason for the second star. However I will not be buying anything further. read more

Nellis Auction needs to stop lying to people saying that items are new and complete when it's obvious that parts are missing or something is broken. So many times I won auction items and had to return them because they were mislabeled. Sometimes i was just too upset that i threw the items in the trash. It just wasnt worth my time to go back and return them. I finally had enough and i'm done using Nellis Auction. I'm going to Mac.bid. i've bought quite a few items there and never had an issue. Your expectation should be that you're buying junk: broken, missing parts, doesn't work ... even if it says new. If it's a good product you'll be pleasantly surprised. Also, this location is a nightmare to get in and out of Friday-Monday, but they have parking helpers who are super helpful. Returns are fairly easy, but the 7 days should be 10-14 days. Hard to do a 7-day turnaround if you work. Overall buyer beware. They're happy to take your money, but they do sell trash. read more

It's definitely a box of chocolates if you're bidding on something used. Most likely it'll be nothing you want to keep. But go with the five star ratings and you'll be very happy at paying a fraction of the price. The bidding and website is easy. If you have to return something at the pick up location, it's easy to do and you'll be credited back your purchase within a couple of days. My problem with this place is the inaccuracy of description. It was missing more than 6 pieces which and they're notably missing pieces. On the auction post they photographed them opening the box. You could clearly tell the floor boards, back boards and top boards were missing yet they described item as "no missing parts". Wasted my $ , wasted my time and gas. Fortunately they do have a no questions 7 day return policy. If you live nearby and it is easy to make returns, you can find some great deals. Nellis Auction is such a blessing! Savvy buyers can purchase so many items for their home, businesses at terrific prices! I've been using Nellis Auction for a while now, and it's become one of my favorite local resources. Pick‑up is incredibly easy--the attendants come right to your vehicle and even help guide you in and out of the (very) busy parking lot. Bidding is simple, the prices are fantastic, and the customer service has been consistently great. If you're a loyal customer, they'll even credit "mis-bids" without charging the usual fee, which I really appreciate. Returns are also quick and hassle‑free within 7 days. My only real concerns: Auction house could check the items more carefully (many times a missing piece is not noted in the details) or one time I got a childs toy that was moldy!! (and I threw it away immediately!). The parking lots can get a bit hair, which sometimes is a real concern but usually the Nellis staff is helpful in getting you in and out safely (I do have concerns for the staff safety at times!). Also, I'd love to see 1-2 more photos of the actual items. Most listings have one stock photo and one other picture--many times the picture of the item is already bagged up so you can't even see which can makes it hard to judge size or quality. Reading the description and notes does help, and checking the Amazon product page (when appropriate) fills in most gaps, but an extra photo or two would make a big difference. Even with those small drawbacks, this place is a gem. I'd truly miss it if it were gone. Highly recommend! read more

Be careful what you bid on. EVERY SINGLE PIECE IN THIS BOX WAS SHATTERED TO PIECES. Nellis auction use to be reliable for only listing lots of useable items by opening the boxes and checking the items and displaying a photo of the actual item to be bid on. It appears as if they no longer give a damn. Now they list broken items with pics from the internet. Bids used to start at $1, now they start out A LOT HIGHER.....bidder beware. read more
