The location is easy to find with signs guiding along the way. We arrived during a busy time. Many attendants are in the pick-up area and it appears that some employees are in charge of guiding the traffic acting as parking lot attendants, while others come up to the car to ask you a few questions about the order (for example: phone number) then retrieve the merchandise from inside the warehouse and bring it to your vehicle. The traffic was steady and even with employees guiding traffic in and out of the parking area, it made me a bit nervous as the parking pick up area is congested with traffic. Even though the employees are wearing brightly colored vests at least one was walking too close for comfort while backing up to leave. As a passenger in a vehicle within this congested and mildly chaotic combination of automobiles and employee foot traffic comingling in rather close quarters it made me nervous enough to think twice before bidding on items that would require pick up from this location- if I were driving. It would be relieving if they would redesign the pick up area so the vehicles have more space to maneuver in and out of the parking pick up spots. The employees did well with both traffic navigation and merch retrieval, and it took longer to maneuver in and out of the parking area than waiting for the actual merch. read more

The employee's were really quick to get his boots out to the car, 5 stars for that. But the listing said they were brand new but once we go them home & he inspected them you could tell that they had been worn due to the dirt on the bottom of them. The boots were still in good shape & it seemed that maybe someone had done a little walking in them. I have a feeling that you learn of this place through word-of-mouth. It's an auction site and they have their own app. Items are up for auction and you have a limited amount of time to bid on an item. You have an opportunity to increase your bid throughout the amount of hours that your item is up for auction. If you win a bid, then you have to agree to pick up your item by a certain date and time. There are a couple of different places in town that you can pick up your items from and you can bid on items specifically from your preferred location. I won a mini-grinder for $37 which retails for $45. The description said that all of the parts were there and it was in working condition. After I picked it up, however it was missing parts and while it would turn on, you couldn't use it without the parts that were missing so I had to return it. The second thing I won was a juicer. It looks like it has all the parts looks, didn't even look like it was used before. I'm hoping that it works when I plug it in and try it. You have 7 days to return an item. This is a great place to check for things you may be looking for, before you pay full price. Parking spots are numbered and when you pull in, they come up to your window take your phone number and retrieve your item for you so you don't even have to leave your car. It is a streamlined pick-up process, brilliant on Amazon's part. I will definitely be searching here again in the near future! read more

Just flat out disappointed on so many levels. Jeff and Debbie really dropped the ball especially at the end of my Estate Auction. Beware of things in the contract that are not at all explained. There were several and I mean several items that Nellis said were returned at the end of my sale. I didn't notice these until I got my breakdown sent to me SNAIL Mail and by the time I got it 10 days after the sale , the items were suddenly not found at all. Where did they GO? I wanted to go out of my way to get them from any of the Nellis warehouses, but they could not be found? Really ? I find that hard to believe. They said it's part of the contract that I signed. OK my bad for not looking at all the fine print, but what about just doing the right thing? Nothing. I also had one of their tables in my house for days before they retrieved it. I had to constantly ask Jeff to get the table removed. Why should I have to be 'that' person' to be asking ? ...I'm upset and blown away of the lack of professionalism...I had to let someone know...so beware !! read more

This is the second time I've received broken and/or completely wrong items. Their listings are a joke. They say new and it's used or broken. Twice I've received the wrong item. I won a motorcycle rain jacket Lg and got a kids bmx padded jacket. No response after trying to rectify it. They immediately closed out the help ticket when they didn't even respond to it. Major pieces are usually missing even if it's listed as new. Got a tv mount, the mounting bar was missing. Never any sizes on most items like jackets or clothing. A complete waste of time and money. So they were very quick but when it comes to letting you leave, they let everybody that's coming in park. You could be waiting for three minutes. You could be waiting for 15 minutes. They do not let you go until everyone they see coming parks and even then you have a small window, so I was trying to back up and the workers were standing behind my car then one moved and one of them decided to stop like three or four of them stopped behind my car when I was trying to back up one was bending over, tying her shoe. It wouldn't let me go out a certain way. It was very frustrating to be honest with you, but the girl standing behind my car as I was trying to leave I couldn't even get out of the parking spot because she would not move. She seen me backing up and intentionally stopped behind a car and bent over. The person that was letting people in they need to learn how to properly direct traffic they wouldn't let anybody backing up or leave at all like I said it was very frustrating. They let at least 1015 cars park and it's weird because there was time in between but they would stand behind cars when they were backing up so it was making it extra extra hard and there's plenty of different spots to be standing. It's odd their behavior is truly odd. I will not be shopping from two of them out of the floor now. They have cool stuff but the workers give you a horrible experience. I don't know. Honestly received the best stuff in great condition. The process for picking up my items was so fast and easy.

In fairness, sometimes items are as described and serviceable. However, I had a friend who lives in north Las Vegas pick up 12 housewares items for me today. Round trip from my house would have been over an hour and a half, so returning $30 worth of broken or damaged items would have cost $10 in gas plus my time. Of the 12 items, 4 were undamaged. 2 were not as described but were usable. Now, mind you I only bid on things that they say are new in box. Six just went directly into the trash. Here are the defects: Food storage containers did not include lids. Cake pans were crushed and deformed. Tried to bend back in shape. Nope Sausage filling device had no nozzle or plugger Self sealing food bags said 100 count. There were 56 Cookie molds were scratched, dented and broken. Dog seater was ripped and torn So, the other six items were serviceable. But, given all the damage, I could have gotten new from Amazon for only a little more. I have gotten some good deals but lately, the products have been misrepresented, the retail value over stated and the descriptions totally off. I will only buy at the auction near me in the future and exam things before I leave the parking lot. Like all good things, because Nellis has gotten popular, the value isn't there any more. Bear in mind that the winning bid will be increased by premium and tax, so the cost is roughly 25% higher. Yes, you would have to pay tax anyway, but if the retail price is over stated it isn't that great of a deal. So buyer beware. read more

There was a constant flow of vehicles going on and out. Take your time go slow and be patient. I pulled into a marked stall and was created by a friendly young man who checked me in. About a minute later my items were brought to my car. A young lady stopped vehicles to allow me to back out. Most of the items are Amazon returns, so things happen. Items may not work, the may be damaged. If the items my bid on are not as described on the auction site such as umdamaged or functional, they will take the items back without question. When I first started coming to Nellis Auction a couple of years ago, it was great. Great wins, you get a great deal for the price you win on bids and great staff. Since it's business has grown, service has fell through. I like going to the Dean Martin location because you can check yourself in. The Market Center location you have to wait for someone to come check you in. My average wait time to get checked in and receive my order has been around 10 minutes. A few weeks ago I was waiting for 20 minutes because they gave my items that I paid for to someone else. Nice, thanks. This was once a great place to pick things up for a relatively good price. Over time its has gone down so much. Anything electronic has been a disaster from here. Literally the most recent items purchased were Bluetooth earbuds and in both cases neither worked. Both were listed as new and both were used. One was so badly used and disgustingly dirty it beyond belief. No one could have looked even at the box let alone the earbuds themselves and concluded they were new. They used to be great. Now it's literally gone to shxt. I opened my pet food holder and it was used, dirty and missing instructions. When it said it was "new". Then I got a comforter set with sham, all I got was a bag with only a small throw pillow. Again, they said it was a mistake. All I receive is the same AI generated message that somebody will be reaching out and then you get a scripted email message that no one ever mans. Their website definitely needs an upgrade. It's not intuitive and it's search engine is not capable of searching!!! you type in mattress and you end up getting car tires. Whoever is running this business shouldn't be.
