***Black & Female Owned*** Order: She Wasn't Red-y - Red Velvet cake wrapped around in cheesecake ice cream. Know What I mean - Cookies & Cream Ice Cream wrapped with Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. Topped with sprinkles, whipped cream, chocolate syrup Homegirl really put her foot in it. I surely wasn't ready for this. Ice cream and fried dough! That's heaven-sent. You have to try this...like really you have to. This is like the perfect combination, the ice cream was firm, the dough was not soggy and definitely wrapped tight. There are two options when ordering; to eat immediately and have it cut or fried and have it to go, but why wait. They are only available for curbside pick up. The location kinda threw me for a moment. It's Pro Kitchen Hub on Hiatus, a shared space for businesses. The process for ordering is simple - order online (https://www.nellysfc.com/), once you get to the location you send a text of what you ordered and your car details and BAM! They'll go ahead and prepare your order... happiness in a box.

This is one delicious sweet treat not to be missed! They are Dessert Wars Season 7 People's Choice Winner for their fried ice cream creations. And now I know why. They have eight flavors to choose from, one of them being vegan. They also offer a handful of complimentary toppings to add to your treat. I added powered sugar & sprinkles. My tasty fried ice cream treats name: "She Wasn't Red-y" Red velvet cake wrapped around cheesecake ice cream, lightly battered and fried. Whoa!! Nomnom!! Reminds me of childhood summer treats down-the-shore on the boardwalk. Love it so good! They're open Saturdays & Sundays with online ordering and curbside pick-up only so plan accordingly. You won't be sorry ;))

Ugh... where to start with the gem that is Nelly's Fried Creamery. Only a creative queen would think to stuff ice cream into a fried dessert. You may be thinking to yourself, "That's too much" or "That sounds to heavy". But let me tell you all something.... It's just delicious! The combination of the hot, cold, crunch and creaminess of this delectable treat is truly unmatched. They have multiple flavors to choose from, including "She Wasn't Red-y" with red velvet cake and cheesecake ice cream and "Know What I Mean" which is cookies n' creme ice cream inside a fried chocolate chip cookie. Also, the convenience of it getting delivered right to your car door never hurts. Don't believe me? Then you need to try it out for yourself. Oh, I almost forgot. They have vegan options too!

When I think of fried ice cream, I think of the traditional vanilla ice cream fried in cornflakes. But the fried ice cream at Nelly's Fried Creamery is something totally different, in a good way! My husband placed our order over their website for curbside pickup. We shared Know What I Mean & Glazed Over. Both were delicious. Out of those two, Know What I Mean was my favorite! I was worried the ice cream wouldn't travel well for my husbands 10 minute car ride home, but it did.

This is my favorite guilty pleasure! Each fried ice cream option is delicious. Ordering is very simple. Nelly & her employees are very kind. Any chance I get to recommend this delicious fried ice cream, I do!!!

This is the first place I've been to that's solely dedicated to fried ice cream so had to give it a go. I would definitely recommend eating it ASAP. I drove to a nearby park 5 minutes away and I probably did not have it at its best. There was still a crunch but there was some ice cream soup. Within a couple of minutes of eating, the fried parts became soggy so eat quickly. Also when you arrive in the parking lot and text that you're there, you should still expect a wait--I waited for about 15 minutes. The texting service was super responsive though and gave a quick reply when I asked for forks and napkins. Overall glad I tried it!

Do you need heaven delivered right to your car? Look no further. I had heard rumblings all over social media about this gem in Sunrise and finally had the chance to stop over. First of all, with COVID I personally love that you are able to order online ahead of time and text them when you are outside so they bring it right to your car. You get to choose how to top it (sprinkles & whip YES PLEASE!) It comes out in cute branded bag and container, adorable menu to take home or leave in your car for later, a spoon and plenty of napkins. So, you are ready to devour it as soon as your order arrives. I order the Brown Noser and oh my goodness was I in love! The melted chocolatey, brownie goodness combined with vanilla ice cream and OH that CRUNCH. The crunch from the outer shell just takes it to a whole other experience. The only way I could describe the flavor of this one to someone who hasn't tried it (and I'm not doing it justice here) is like a deep fried Oreo with ice cream. So yummy. Highly recommend you support this amazing and black owned business. I'll be bringing my friends as soon as COVID is over. But you best believe I am spreading the word now.

Had a little hard time finding the location because it's sort of in a empty plaza but the ordering process was smooth! Placed a curb side pick up (that's all that's available for pick up) I then received a text with confirmation. I texted the number to let them know I was outside it took about 10 mins to receive my dessert. I ordered the brown noser and wow it is sooooooooo GOOD! Might I add, it's big enough to feed two people. I will deff be back to try their other desserts

Y'all I LOVE Icecream! Like I need to eat it pretty much everyday day love it. So I'm really particular about my Icecream Lol, but for real! Y'all this place is so dang good! OMG!! You have to try out Nelly's! This place has everything I ever wanted. I ordered the Brown noser, my ultimate favorite way to eat Icecream, on top of a brownie!! But this Brown noser was a brownie wrapped around vanilla Icecream then fried to perfection and topped w chocolate, caramel, and powdered sugar!! Mmmmm soo good!! If I didn't have to worry about calories, I'd eat this everyday! And the portion is hefty! The only thing I wish they had were nuts to top the Icecream and hot fudge instead of chocolate syrup. Anyway, I'll definitely be coming back!!

I LOVEEEEE Nelly's! It's located in an empty looking warehouse building but it's actually a small business run out of a shared kitchen space which I think is pretty neat. You order online, and text when you get to the location so they can make your ice cream fresh and bring it out to your car. There's even a home-fry option. I haven't had a flavor combo I don't like. They're all so good, it's hard to choose! Such a gem of a local business. Located dangerously close to my house, I would order every week if I could but I consider it more of an indulgent treat I reward myself with every now and then. Portions are big! I usually eat half on my way home and save the other half for later. It even stays crunchy being in the freezer. Only downside is they're only open on weekends so snag some ice cream when you can!

Tucked into this industrial office park off Oakland park Blvd and Hiatus is a "ghost kitchen concept" called Nelly's Fried Creamery, who as the name suggests, makes fried ice cream. A closer look at the menu reveals they have 2 fully VEGAN options. I opted to try the "You Can't Sit With Us" which consisted of Vegan fudge brownie wrapped around vegan caramel swirl ice cream (almond milk). The product is NOT gluten free and they do warn of possible Cross Contamination As Vegan items are fried in the same oil as the conventional flavors. However, they are never fried at the same time. They also have Vanilla Ice Ice Baby which is a scoop of caramel ice cream (almond milk) covered in vanilla cake that I will definitely keep in mind for next time. Since this is a "ghost kitchen concept" there is no seating, and they ask you order ahead and text upon arrival, at that time is when they drop your ice cream to fry. The order comes up fast with a spoon and napkins and is ready to eat. They are only open on Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon, but that is the best time for ice cream anyway. You scream, I scream, we all scream for vegan fried ice cream!

    Natasha C.

Literally SO good! Ordered the "knaus son" and the "know what I mean" and they were both delicious but the knaus takes the win. I will definitely be coming back!

Not the best pic, but this is Chocolate Wasted. It's not on the menu yet, but this debut has us swooning!!

I came in on a Sunday morning around 10am and it was super crowded, which was a good sign. Despite the crowd, the line moved fast and my order came out really quickly. They have more matcha flavors than anywhere else I've seen, so it was a hard choice. I ended up going with the marshmallow, and I'm super happy with my choice. The matcha and marshmallow flavors were both strong and complemented each other well. They have a pastry case that I completely missed because it's around the corner, or I might have tried something there too. I love the cute animal decor as well, and I don't believe they charged extra for alternative milks, which is always huge bonus points for me. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors and maybe an empanada!

I would recommend this as a good place to chat with a friend over a space for studying or working. Especially because I found the staff lovely and conversational. Their prices are far more reasonable than many other local coffee shops nearby which was definitely a major plus. I enjoyed the lavender latte, but would probably only get it hot in the future, and would try a different iced latte flavor. The spicy chicken empanada was delicious and I would definitely get it again. It had a nice curry sauce inside (though it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be). The ham and cheese sandwich was also surprisingly good. Though simple, they tasted like quality ingredients.
