I enjoyed my visit to Cami Bakery! I liked the pastelitos I ate very much. The 2 ham croquettes were good as well. The Cuban coffee kept me up all night! Wow that was some delicious but strong coffee. They had some great looking desserts that I stayed away from. What won me over was I paid by credit card and the lady that was helping me hit no tip. I haven't seen that before. I left her a tip for doing that. The place is very clean. It looks like a family owned company which I love to support. I did not love the beef pastelitos. They were rectangular. I like how Vicky's put a shiny coat on top. I also bought a tray of pastelitos for the office. Some of them they forgot to put any guava in it. I would recommend this place. It was a good experience

Great service, average bakery. The coffee was horrendous. I came specifically for empanadas. The pastry was peculiar tasting, it was oily, and the meat was nothing special, actually kind of bland. Other pastry items were simply ordinary, The restaurant was clean, bathrooms were spotless!

I wanted something sweet and came upon this bakery. They appear to have your traditional Cuban pastries and desserts. I decided to get guava, guava and cheese and tres leches. The pasties were fresh, flaky and really good. The tres leches was good too. I would come here again and try other items. Service was good and the place is clean.

Not too many legit five star Cuban cafes out there but this is surely one of them that every pastry and coffee freak should try. Opened seven months ago in the Pines Plaza Shoppes which is mainly dead. Plenty of parking directly in front of the business. Entered a brightly lit café with an inviting scent of freshly baked pastries lingering in the air. We met the owner Denny and his wife who were operating the food counter. I ordered my normal espresso and a beef empanada. They offer a variety of bottled sauces to provide some spice and chose the Ocho Rios. I took my first bite and loved the hot finely ground beef encased in a flaky uneven shell. The repulgue edges allotted a crunch sound that made me say, "Hell yes". Instantly knew it was not frozen and was freshly baked. Unlike, some unscrupulous bakeries that simply open a box of empanadas and stamp the name of their business on each one then reheat and place into the display case for an unaware customer. My buddy ordered a massive bacon egg & cheese croissant sandwich for a mere $6.99, how is this possible? Now for the review of the most important section of the cafe - the coveted gender neutral bathroom. Surprised by the enormous size of the room with basic functionality and was spotless. Based on the well organized pastry display cases and the cleanliness of the cafe, it was evident that the owners take pride in their business, therefore, have a much better chance of thriving in this difficult genre. I will return.

I came here for the first time. I was craving a tres leche. It was fine but I did notice it has lots of milk . So be careful with put in your spoon it might spill. I have had better one however it was good. I probably come back to try something. Service was good.

I also tried one of their empanadas, which was delicious and packed with flavor. My friend had the breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed! The real star here, though, is the pastries. I tried a couple slices of cake and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. There alfajors also melted in your mouth!! There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. Since it was my first visit, I didn't realize you have to take a number (similar to Publix) and wait to be called. I ended up standing in line, not knowing they were serving based on numbers instead. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing. That said, I'd absolutely go back for the food--just probably not on a busy weekend!

I would recommend this as a good place to chat with a friend over a space for studying or working. Especially because I found the staff lovely and conversational. Their prices are far more reasonable than many other local coffee shops nearby which was definitely a major plus. I enjoyed the lavender latte, but would probably only get it hot in the future, and would try a different iced latte flavor. The spicy chicken empanada was delicious and I would definitely get it again. It had a nice curry sauce inside (though it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be). The ham and cheese sandwich was also surprisingly good. Though simple, they tasted like quality ingredients.

The Wild Mug Coffee Bar…read more It was a pleasant surprise and my fiancee and I really enjoyed the time we spent at this cafe. Today, we ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato, Iced Cinnamon Roll Latte, Spicy Beef Empanada, and their Key lime Pie. The coffees were good, but in my opinion, their pastries and snacks tasted better and left a bigger impression on me. The coffee flavors, I felt like I can find them elsewhere but the key lime pie was nice- just sweet enough and right level of tartness. The spicy beef empanada was nice too or maybe I was just hungry. You make sure to try it and let me know if it was really good or no. They offer indoor and outdoor seating but are both limited so get there at the right time or be ready for Togo. The interior is cleanly decorated and they seem to have put in a lot of time hand writing out the special menu and seasonal items. Yes I would recommend this place to others. Yes I would definitely visit the Wild Mug Coffee Bar again.

I tried the Chicken Avocado BLT ($11) and a beef empanada ($4.25)--both very tasty. They also offer a tempting selection of traditional Colombian and classic sweets. For takeout, I got French bread ($2.55 for four) and cheese bread ($7.50). The French bread was a bit dense, better at Brazilian bakeries but the cheese bread was excellent--rich, cheesy, and worth the overprice. It is large enough for a catered work party, if needed, and very clean. The menu is available at the counter, as well as on the wall behind the counter. Speaking of behind the counter, friendly faces are there too. Ordering was not only easy, but had a brief turnaround time. Sancocho de Costilla and Cuban sandwich/Pernil sandwich were our choices. The beef in the soup was tender; the sandwich was tasty. Neither required additional seasoning! But there is far more to explore than plates, soups, and sandwiches. Don Pan [pan is Spanish for bread] is also a bakery. It seems you must arrive early for a larger selection of items. By the time we arrived, the bakery stock clearly had taken a hit, which means popularity. If you want chain restaurant Latin food for very affordable prices, Don Pan is the place.
