Still a strong 5 star coffee shop. The place was packed with customers as usual. I ordered an expresso with a side of sugar and cream to cut it. It was ready within three minutes hot and delish as usual. No pastry for me on today's adventure. I noticed that as soon as a customer exited the shop an employee immediately cleaned the floor and table.

I just went to order to go and the service was super fast! I ordered a good amount and was in and out within 5-10 minutes! If you want to sit and eat there are a good amount of tables. The food was soooo good! I got tequenos, croquetas, and empanadas. Everything was great, would definitely go back!

The food is amazing! Authentic Cuban food/coffee. I had the cuban breakfast with a cafécon Leche. The service was quick and she spoke Spanish and English. The shop has space to eat but it is also very packed most of the time. There was about 5 people head of me and took 8 minutes to get to the front of it. I will be back to try the flan!

Good food with mostly Venezuelan roots. If they're not too busy service is quick. I had the pabe bowl and it was good. The shredded meat was satisfactory but could have been a little more juicier and flavored more. The reina pepiada did hit the spot - recommended if you like avocado. Good stop to make if you are shopping at the sawgrass outlets as it's in a plaza on the outskirts of the main Sawgrass mall circle.

I used to go to this Don Pan location many moons ago so being in the area, I just had to stop by and get an arepa. I ordered an Arepa Pabellon which is stuffed with shredded beef, white cheese, sweet plantains and black beans. However, I opted out the beans. I felt is was alittle on the expensive side but it tasted good. They also have a lot of different pastries and desserts. I was trying to behave so I didn't get anything but they looked yummy nevertheless.

Typically we only order food out for dinner but was in the mood for something different for breakfast. We decided on Don Pan, which I haven't had since I used to live in Miami. I was really hungry when the food arrived but it was pretty good. -mango juice: pretty good, very thick more like a nectar, I watered it down a bit and that basically tripled the amount it came with -scrambled eggs, shredded beef, arepa, and beans: all very tasty. The only thing with significant room for improvement was the black beans. The beans were still a bit tough so they need to be cooked longer -Cuban sandwich: I would recommend maybe getting fresh vs for delivery as it got a little soggy on one end in the take out bag. The sandwich itself was eh. The bread wasn't the freshest and not pressed well. The meat was also a bit too thick for my taste, I would have preferred slices of meat and not chunks. -pastry with ham: pretty good would reorder Overall still a great place to order from if you are craving this kind of food and don't want to go down to Miami for the real deal

Love a good Arepa and the variety in Venezuelan and Cuban pastry you can't go wrong. My go-to is the Pabellon rice, beans, plantains, and shredded beef.. what more can you ask for? I absolutely enjoy the burst in flavor and the sweetness from the ripe plantains. The Cuban pastries are also good in flavor but can sometimes be too soft and oily. Besides that, I'll hit them up for the arepas.

    To go box

They have good pandebonos. Their empanadas are very greasy for me. The cakes and areas are very good. Their brazo de reina is good. They have a good natural orange juic

I have been looking for nice bakery for quite sometime now in and around Sunrise area. I am glad that I found this place. They have different desserts, pastries, snacks, breakfast, coffee, fresh juice and many more. It is a nice clean place with good staff. We got cuatro leches ($3.75), charlotte sweet ($3.75) and cortadito ($3.25) mini size. I would say this is the best price and best food. Definitely people should support such places more over other overpriced places. Loved it. Will be back soon.

A quaint little Latin bakery and restaurant tucked away in this plaza which serves coffee, pastries and other baked goods. Sandwiches, arepas & lunch specials. I think better known for their bakery items. They also have featured specials each week. I sampled the Chicken tamale(Hayaca) which was fantastic! And Shredded beef(Pabellon) similar to Ropa Vieja, rice and beans and plantains. And a Cortadito (coffee). All was very good. Had no room for any pastries, but definitely next time!

Very solid sandwich. A bit slow to get, but figured that was because they were making it fresh. The bread was outstanding. Easy experience.

I also tried one of their empanadas, which was delicious and packed with flavor. My friend had the breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed! The real star here, though, is the pastries. I tried a couple slices of cake and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. There alfajors also melted in your mouth!! There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. Since it was my first visit, I didn't realize you have to take a number (similar to Publix) and wait to be called. I ended up standing in line, not knowing they were serving based on numbers instead. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing. That said, I'd absolutely go back for the food--just probably not on a busy weekend!

I would recommend this as a good place to chat with a friend over a space for studying or working. Especially because I found the staff lovely and conversational. Their prices are far more reasonable than many other local coffee shops nearby which was definitely a major plus. I enjoyed the lavender latte, but would probably only get it hot in the future, and would try a different iced latte flavor. The spicy chicken empanada was delicious and I would definitely get it again. It had a nice curry sauce inside (though it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be). The ham and cheese sandwich was also surprisingly good. Though simple, they tasted like quality ingredients.

The Wild Mug Coffee Bar…read more It was a pleasant surprise and my fiancee and I really enjoyed the time we spent at this cafe. Today, we ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato, Iced Cinnamon Roll Latte, Spicy Beef Empanada, and their Key lime Pie. The coffees were good, but in my opinion, their pastries and snacks tasted better and left a bigger impression on me. The coffee flavors, I felt like I can find them elsewhere but the key lime pie was nice- just sweet enough and right level of tartness. The spicy beef empanada was nice too or maybe I was just hungry. You make sure to try it and let me know if it was really good or no. They offer indoor and outdoor seating but are both limited so get there at the right time or be ready for Togo. The interior is cleanly decorated and they seem to have put in a lot of time hand writing out the special menu and seasonal items. Yes I would recommend this place to others. Yes I would definitely visit the Wild Mug Coffee Bar again.

I tried the Chicken Avocado BLT ($11) and a beef empanada ($4.25)--both very tasty. They also offer a tempting selection of traditional Colombian and classic sweets. For takeout, I got French bread ($2.55 for four) and cheese bread ($7.50). The French bread was a bit dense, better at Brazilian bakeries but the cheese bread was excellent--rich, cheesy, and worth the overprice. It is large enough for a catered work party, if needed, and very clean. The menu is available at the counter, as well as on the wall behind the counter. Speaking of behind the counter, friendly faces are there too. Ordering was not only easy, but had a brief turnaround time. Sancocho de Costilla and Cuban sandwich/Pernil sandwich were our choices. The beef in the soup was tender; the sandwich was tasty. Neither required additional seasoning! But there is far more to explore than plates, soups, and sandwiches. Don Pan [pan is Spanish for bread] is also a bakery. It seems you must arrive early for a larger selection of items. By the time we arrived, the bakery stock clearly had taken a hit, which means popularity. If you want chain restaurant Latin food for very affordable prices, Don Pan is the place.
