I needed paint to match my exterior stucco wall but I was only able to get several pathetically small pieces to collectively amount to about to an inch of color sample (and I was cringing bc I was really messing up the wall to get them). Eddie said it was definitely on the small side, but he thought he would be able to do it. Well, I picked up the paint today and I just watched the paint dry on a large test spot (yes, I was that impatient and invested - I had to redo the whole repair bc both the patch and paint needed to be redone; btw thanks to the other guy also there yesterday who convinced me to get the real stucco repair compound instead of the acrylic patch I used the first time) and the match is FREAKING PERFECT. Eddie exactly matched the paint using a teeny-tiny-all-in-pieces-bare-minimum sample for STUCCO, not something easy like drywall. I am seriously so grateful. If Eddie tells you he needs time to get it right, you give that artist all the time he needs. Like I can't see where I painted at all. It's PERFECT. Did I mention that it's perfect? No? Well, it is. This oversight is causing a crackling noise when walking on the floor. On top of that, they installed the floor and didn't complete a step (see picture). Joel was very responsive to my emails, gave me a reasonable quote and was open to meeting and discussing my ideas. His work is precise and he even finished the sculpture base before his original completion date! After I brought the sculpture home, I realized the pin holding up the wood was too long. Joel was completely fine with adjusting the length and did it while I waited. I would definitely recommend Elemental Studio to anyone who needs fabrication. I visited Galleria Tile today around 1:20 PM to view large format tiles (24x48). I wanted to see…read morethe third tile on display. The sales associate assured me that the first two large format tiles wouldn't fall as she retrieved the third one. Unfortunately, as she lifted the third tile, the first two fell to the ground, cutting me three times on my wrists and hitting my foot. What was most disappointing wasn't just the accident, but the lack of immediate concern from the associate. Instead of checking on me, she focused on cleaning up the mess. I had to ask another associate behind the counter for a bandaid. Only after I tended to myself did the first associate ask if I was okay, without really listening. When I told her I had three cuts and my foot hurt, her response was, "Oh, you have small cut." We teach children that when someone is hurt, even by accident, the first step is to show empathy. That did not happen here. I'm unsure about the quality of the tiles themselves, but this experience was unsafe and very disappointing. Customers should feel safe and supported when visiting a showroom, and that was not my experience today.
