According to her, this is the nicest, most professional and friendly office staff with all the up-to date equipment. Her hearing aid stopped working. Audiology Associates sent the hearing aid out for repairs and contacted the previous business where it was purchased to get the most up to date records. The staff communicated regularly with my mother-in-law and kept her informed during the entire process. The hearing aid was fixed a week sooner than expected. It was very easy to make the appointments. Once the new settings were dialed in they told her she could come in any time without an appointment for any type of adjustments. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to work with such a professional and friendly business.

Despite that, the office later tried to claim we still owed an additional $10 and even threatened to refuse to see him unless it was paid. That alone is unacceptable, but the way the situation was handled made it far worse. When I tried to calmly explain and show proof, the receptionists ganged up on me, spoke in a condescending tone, and dismissed me like I was being unreasonable for questioning their mistake. Instead of taking accountability or even attempting to resolve the issue professionally. This felt less like a simple billing error and more like an attempt to squeeze extra money out of patients, hoping people won't push back. It's incredibly disappointing to see this kind of behavior, especially when dealing with elderly patients who rely on fair and ethical treatment. Between the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and questionable billing practices, I would not trust this office. There are plenty of other providers out there who treat their patients with respect but this is not one of them.

Primary Physician referred us back to West Coast Hearing and Balance for the hearing aides. The misinformation doesn't end. It's hard to get in touch with them, because they use an answering service during business hours. Spoke with their answering service operator who told me that my appointment was good to go, but was later rescheduled. Received misinformation from the referral department on if the insurance covers the hearing aides. After going back and in forth in being told the hearing aides were covered by Medicare and then they were not covered I found out they were ultimately not. I was told by their front office the primary physician did not have the correct referral the day of my appointment, I called in the morning and told for a hearing aid evaluation I shouldn't have a problem. I showed up for the appointment was told I had to reschedule, because the referral from my primary physician was incorrect, and was threatened with having to pay for the appointment even though I we showed up and they rescheduled it. Oh, they don't have an office manager onsite for complaints. Their front office is unprofessional and ghetto. If I can give that place zero stars I would.

I've had a number of hearing tests over the years, with a number of different groups, and I know what is complex about the issue I'm dealing with... and yet, when the receptionist called to schedule me, and I asked to make sure they were going to do the right kind of testing I needed, she was annoyed that I asked questions, explained that she couldn't know the answers, refused to let me talk to anyone else, and said if I needed to ask questions I might be able to either ask my ENT (who was merely the person who referred me... if I refer you to a plumber, the plumber doesn't demand you talk to me to answer questions about their job) or I might (might) be able to ask questions of the audiologist when I showed up... but, why would I go there and waste everyone's time if they aren't even in a position to do the right kind of test? Yes: I was speaking with a receptionist; but, normally, the receptionist will either know some basics about the office or be able to refer quick questions to a tech. The combination of these factors made me feel like I was going to get railroaded into paying for a bunch of useless effort that wouldn't help. Having now gone through the negative reviews on Yelp, this seems to be consistent now (all of the positive reviews are pre-2020, and every single of the reviews since are 1 star, complaining about being railroaded due to bad information).

They will lie to you about what insurance they are affiliated with and then charge you three months later for three times the price! So sad to see this unethical practice.

She has a cozy office near the hospital, where she truly goes above and beyond for her patients. I brought my dad here as he had been struggling with hearing loss for a while. Ginny helped him find the perfect pair of hearing aids, despite all the obstacles we faced with insurance. She did everything she could to make it happen. Not only did she restore my dad's hearing, but she also went out of her way to support us during his surgery late last year. When his hearing aids weren't ready in time, she graciously provided a pair of loaners so he wouldn't go without--especially important for his brain surgery, where hearing was critical. Since then, every time we visit for adjustments or to troubleshoot my dad's "technical difficulties," she greets us with a smile and treats us with such care. I signed a form for all my medical records to be forwarded. I also explained about my compounded prescriptions to add to my file. On February 13 I had my doctor's appointment. I had expected everything to be in my file by then. Alas, nothing had been added to my file. At that time, I repeated my prescriptions to Dr. Dial, who it seems did not add it to my file, either. Today, March 6, I called the office and requested that my compounded prescriptions be refilled. The first staff member mentioned some powder???? prescription (I have no idea what she was talking about). I was transferred to the medical assistant, who called it in. She did not call in accurate prescriptions. I had to drive to the compounding pharmacy, Medical Arts Pharmacy, and bring my vials of my estrogen cream and the pharmacist wrote down the prescriptions, which I then hand-delivered to the doctor's office. Whenever I would call the office, the staff would over-talk me and not listen to what I was saying, so they would make further mistakes. It's a good thing that I am healthy and I am mostly concerned about my estrogen, and getting blood tests, so that I can make any adjustments needed, myself. I do not trust them with anything else.
