I came here because I have a hard time finding someone who can scissor cut my son's hair. Every place I go only wants to do the clippers but because he is sensitive to touch, I need someone who can scissor cut. When I called to ask, they said they have someone and gave me an evening appointment. Little did I know, it was the owner of the salon who was an expert. My hair was horribly violated at this establishment 9 months ago. The owner, Nely, took me in as a walk in for a wash and trim around 3:00 in the afternoon. I made it clear to Nely that I desired a trim that was exactly 2 inches and she instead decided on her own to trim off 5 inches of my hair without any confirmation before hand. Before my hair was trimmed it was long and perfectly reached my waistline. Afterwords my hair sadly resided at choppy shoulder length. I am extremely devastated and mourned my long hair. Due to this awful experience I have not gotten a haircut since Nely's brutalization. I will say my hair has barely grown back less than 3 inches when normally my hair grows back very fast. I frequently take biotin supplements and routinely lather my hair with castor + moroccan oil to help aid in growth. Take your business and time somewhere else, invest in your hair or you'll be unfortunate like myself. read more

My first experience here was a walk in on a Friday afternoon and my hair needed to be transformed asap trim and color correction which they accommodated, what I didn't expect was the constant complaining not only from my hair dresser but the rest of the ladies as well, stating she always takes on more work for herself stressed out the whole time because she had other personal obligations I was uncomfortable through the time and felt bad as if I did something wrong. Im not one to complain I literally sat in the chair quietly the whole time I even suggested I come on a different day because I was tired of hearing the complaints and she told me no she was going to continue. She knew the extensive work that needed to be done and committed. If she couldn't have taken the load then I would've respected that and gone elsewhere or had someone else do it but being she volunteered and explained to me how long it would take I thought she would've used her better judgement. I do thank her for helping me out but the complaining was unnecessary especially as a new customer that could've brought more people to the business. Even after that experience I decided to give them ONE more shot. I called to make an appointment at 830 on a Saturday (day of my birthday) I went for a simple trim and one hair color. I arrived at 832 and someone was getting a cut and then after he was done she proceeded to grab the next customer all while she knew I had apppintment at 0830. To my surprise it was the owner. I wasn't seated until 0917. At the point I was frustrated I wasn't told anything throughout this time once again sat there quietly. When I was finally seated I asked her how long and she told me 4 hours and I told her I did not have time because I had other plans for my birthday I already lost essentially 1 hour so I told her just a cut then she said oh it's actually going to be 2 hours. So I agreed once again giving the benefit of the doubt. Overall she did finish in two hours. But i felt rushed and once again uncomfortable. After these two experiences I'm done and won't be coming back. Unprofessional. read more
