The bowl with the soup was separate from a plate that comes with the rest of the stew ingredients (beef, rice, corn, cabbage). The stew and beef were well seasoned it needed nothing added. I was in the area and wanted to try their pupusas because of the great review here at yelp. Unfortunately, I was not able to so. It seems that none of the servers want to serve me because I don't speak Spanish. Two servers in different occasion said for me to wait. I waited but no one came out after nor offered me a menu so I had to leave. Came across this spot , was recommend by a local in the area I had met earlier in the day ( that was last week ) I wanted authentic Salvadoran food and she told me to try this place . Let's start by saying the place is small but yes busy and there is a wait for when after you place your order , be prepared to wait a good 20 min or so for the food but it is worth the wait . Everything is cooked fresh and it's horchata ( authentic Salvadoran ) was one of the best I've had the pupusas where delicious the right size and amount , we ordered a couple of panes con pollo which hands down they are almost as good as my moms and that says a lot. We also ordered the sopa de pata ( it's a soup ) it was so delicious the portion was shareable . We tried the empanadas de plátano with the cream custard that was so delicious we also got a couple of pieces of they're sweet bread and was not disappointed. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars was because it's small inside that's the only reason they deserve 10 stars for taste and freshness and in authentic dishes and costumer service gets 10 stars across as well they are super nice and attentive to all the customers. I highly recommend this spot if you are in the Antelope Valley but it's worth the drive , this place is in Lancaster but it's so good I'm definitely making this restaurant/ bakery a regular spot read more
