Ordered over the phone and food was ready for pick up but it was also very hot and fresh. I ordered sopa de res (beef stew) and it was quite a generous portion, enough for 3 people. The bowl with the soup was separate from a plate that comes with the rest of the stew ingredients (beef, rice, corn, cabbage). The stew and beef were well seasoned it needed nothing added. Friendly service.

I was in the area and wanted to try their pupusas because of the great review here at yelp. Unfortunately, I was not able to so. It seems that none of the servers want to serve me because I don't speak Spanish. Two servers in different occasion said for me to wait. I waited but no one came out after nor offered me a menu so I had to leave. I was the only customer that time btw. I will not spend a dime in a place that I don't feel welcome. For this experience, I would not recommended this place.

We placed an order over the phone. We had high hopes...and they didn't disappoint. My husband had the yucca frita with chicharrón- crispy and the meat was delicious. Of course the sauce and curtido were also great. I had pupusas revueltas and an order of empanadas. They are authentic and my husband let me know the service was nice. This is probably one of the best places to go in Lancaster if you want authentic Salvadoran food. Everything on the menu is made with excellence and authentic flavors abound. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant decor is very basic folding tables and chairs, but there is a very friendly atmosphere. Excellent Salvadoran restaurant you won't regret going to this place. read more

Never had Salvadorian food before, so figured I'd give it a try, and it was well worth it. Had a great lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The horchata was out of this world good. I'll definitely be eating here again the next time I'm in the area, and recommend that you check it out as well. read more

The pupusas were good , they do charge for the sauce and salad thing , also the bananas were 5 bucks and mine had 3 small pieces and tasted like regular bananas not platenos so just keep that in mind . But I'd definitely order to go , wouldn't eat inside read more

I love to eat here and try new things. But my favorite are the pork and cheese oupusas and beef stew. The owner is super personal and very fun! This place is located in a little of an sketchy area, but the best food are the hole in the walls. This is a small owned business and they focus on the food. However, you can sit and eat in the restaurant but I usually call in an order and pick up. Try it!! read more

If I could leave more stars I would. Food is authentic tasting Salvadorean food and fresh. Great attitudes and service is amazing. The owners are sweethearts. My family and I ordered pupusas de queso, sopa de pata and a caldo de res and to drink ensaladas, all packed with flavor and fresh. I will continue recommending this place to friends and family. Came across this spot , was recommend by a local in the area I had met earlier in the day ( that was last week ) I wanted authentic Salvadoran food and she told me to try this place . Let's start by saying the place is small but yes busy and there is a wait for when after you place your order , be prepared to wait a good 20 min or so for the food but it is worth the wait . Everything is cooked fresh and it's horchata ( authentic Salvadoran ) was one of the best I've had the pupusas where delicious the right size and amount , we ordered a couple of panes con pollo which hands down they are almost as good as my moms and that says a lot. We also ordered the sopa de pata ( it's a soup ) it was so delicious the portion was shareable . We tried the empanadas de plátano with the cream custard that was so delicious we also got a couple of pieces of they're sweet bread and was not disappointed. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars was because it's small inside that's the only reason they deserve 10 stars for taste and freshness and in authentic dishes and costumer service gets 10 stars across as well they are super nice and attentive to all the customers. I highly recommend this spot if you are in the Antelope Valley but it's worth the drive , this place is in Lancaster but it's so good I'm definitely making this restaurant/ bakery a regular spot read more

We went to pay our bill as she assumed and up charged us for bigger pupusas than what I had pointed to on the menu. When I asked her about it, she said that she assumed that's what we wanted. I let her know that I wanted what we had pointed at in the menu. When I asked her to refund us the difference she said she couldn't because the manager wasn't there and if I wanted to come back. All of this with a very entitled attitude. If there were zero stars, I would rate them that. Incredibly unhappy with my experience here and I'm shocked they're still in business.

I wasn't expecting the royal treatment that the Ritz Carlton would give their guests but at least basic guest service and decent food, this place has neither one. I see the typical wannabe restaurant entrepreneur who wants to get rich but has no passion for cooking or even basic seasoning skills in this restaurant owner. I've been in many Salvadorian and Mexican restaurants and eight out of ten have fallen in this pitfall. If you just wanna make money and have no passion for cooking stay away from the restaurant and hospitality industry.

I've been to the location in Lancaster and the one in Palmdale, inside the swap meet and in both occasions I was highly disappointed. I ordered a pupusa, not a tortilla, so where was all the stuffing?! The atole de elote was cortado and I just happened to get the empanadas de platano which were filled with harina. The pupusas here are amazing!!! And to add to that, the customer service is amazing as well!! I have ordered other things from the menu and they were amazing! Everyone was polite and funny. I have been coming here for years now and will continue to do so. I have never had pupusas like theirs! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

I've def had better pupusas . Im not Salvadoran but I know what good pupusas are. These are so tiny for $1.75. I would pay 99 cents max for them. Its a lil dirty in there aswell. And they have a bunch of ghetto signs up. The tamales had no filling what so ever. We have plates full of just masa from them. read more

Best pupusa place in town!! They also have them on sale on Friday. Fyi cash only..but it's so worth it. The kids love the cheese and chicharron. The staff is always friendly. We have been coming here for a long time and they never let us down. Authentic salvadorian food! read more

The pupusas here are GREAT! (Fyi only accepts cash). But definitely the best pupusas in town!! And for the price you can't beat it :)
