I wish I had more pictures to Share but if you know what Pupusas look like that's what I went for! I am picky with eating Pupusas just anywhere and I heard this place is under new management. My boyfriend was in the area and I asked him if he can bring me food so I called at 4:43pm on a Tuesday (1/10). To my surprise the person told me they close at 5pm but they don't mind helping us. That was a PLUS for me!!! I ordered 8 pupusas and sometimes I think I should learn how to make them since I'm peculiar with how I want my food. Anywho they were very pleasant and patient. My boyfriend also purchased the dessert "Panna Cota" which is out of the Ordinary for a Latin restaurant but regardless let me move on to the flavors!! Dessert : It was delicious , bursting with flavor. We kept trying to guess the ingredients and we couldn't. It was a sorta custard/jello type but the sweetness was NOT overpowering at all. I'm not a sugar junkie! The fresh fruit and the fresh syrup are definitely flavorful and it has that homemade flavor. Pupusas : they were definitely packed with flavor and meat. The curtido (pickled coleslaw) and tomato sauce was spicy but not overpowering either. Everything had a balance of flavors and the freshness of it was on point! Price is average of what most restaurants are charging today for Pupusas I don't mind paying when the service and food is great! This location is in Lancaster California which is far from me but I will definitely be making a drive soon to try their other items.

Have visited this location several times in the last five years or so. Love authentic Salvadorean hard cheese, and I was aching for a quick fix because I had been thinking about having pupusas, a traditional Salvadorean breakfast, and a coffee. Food was pretty decent, see pics. What caught our immediate attention was the lack of any type of customer service. Both persons in the front offered zero help, and they gave zero faulks whether we needed anything to devour our meals. Spent about $40 dollars, for that we got an earful of rude and vulgar shenanigans from an older gentleman that manages or owns this place. He was really busy scratching away at his stacks of lottery tickets. So sad, so much potential, food was pretty tasty, service was underwhelming, rude, and non-existent. May I respectfully suggest that the counter workers or the older gentlemen that manages or owns this place either try to help the restaurant by being nice and cordial to the patrons? Naw, after what I heard and saw for over thirty minutes, it seems like that would be too much to ask of them. If you are still reading this, they deserve zero stars. Food was pretty decent though. Too bad.

It's ok. The table plastics they use are dirty on the edges. Not to clean, food is ok and cash only.. don't think I will go back.

Just don't eat here!…read more We originally wanted to go to the Peruvian place around the corner but they had a "B" health grade so we passed on that. There was a couple tables seated inside this resident so we said "why not, let La try something new". First off they don't have a restroom or it wasn't operational or the Linda at the counter didn't feel like being helpful. We just wanted to wash our hands prior to eating. We ordered the pupusas special on their menu which is 2 pupusas for like $5.69 or something close to that, and one additional cheese and jalapeno one. When she brought the condiments to our table she spilled them which was no biggie. I offed to just wipe it myself. Our food came and we got 4 pupusas. No big deal we weren't gunna complain. Food was below subpar, no flavor and the masa had an off putting smell. As far as the food goes I would NEVER come back here, now would I recommend this place. I wanted to put the tomato based sauce on my pupusas but it was crusty and and when I opened it there was mold growing in the lid. Unfortunately I didn't see this till after we left. We went to pay our bill as she assumed and up charged us for bigger pupusas than what I had pointed to on the menu. When I asked her about it, she said that she assumed that's what we wanted. I let her know that I wanted what we had pointed at in the menu. When I asked her to refund us the difference she said she couldn't because the manager wasn't there and if I wanted to come back. All of this with a very entitled attitude. If there were zero stars, I would rate them that. Incredibly unhappy with my experience here and I'm shocked they're still in business.

I went here on a Tuesday evening…read more I ordered a super papusa but I didn't understand how it worked. I misread the sign that showed what was included for options so I ordered a super papusa with only chicharron and queso. The cashier gave me a confused look but still proceeded with my order. Super papusas are only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays The menu was only in Spanish only so it might make it a bit difficult for people who don't know Spanish or can't use a translator app. Anyways even though I botched my order the papusa they gave me was still good. It was very big (~1 foot in diameter) and has a nice crunch and the cheese was gooey. They also gave me curtido as an appetizer. The curtido had a nice crunch too and the hot sauce that was included was not that spicy.

I really enjoy coming here for pupusas or soup. Their pupusas are hands down the best I've had in…read morethe Antelope Valley. I always go for the bean and cheese ones. They also have a Tuesday special where pupusas are sold for a dollar and change, which is a great deal. I've also ordered the caldo de res and caldo de pollo, and I usually get coffee with my meals as well. I've read comments about poor customer service, but that has never been my experience. I've always been taken care of right away and my orders come out pretty quickly. The downsides are that the restaurant feels a bit stuffy, and on my last visit there were quite a few flies around, which made eating a challenge. Otherwise, i still highly recommend this place.

5 stars for food and 5 stars for service! Somehow this only equals 5 stars!…read more The food was as authentic as I've had and I've eaten my share of Salvadoran food and there are several eateries in the high desert area to choose from. The gold standard is the flavor and texture of their pupusas along with their cortido and red sauce. The revuelta, bean and cheese pupusas meet the mark. In addition you can't beat the prices as the more pupusas you order the less expensive it becomes. Everything we had was sabroso! Combo tipico, desayuno tipico with ham, pupusas, salpicon and yucca frita amazing. Their ensalada drink was some of the best I've had too. The ladies at the register and the kitchen are fast and efficient as my order was ready upon arrival. Second time back in a day visiting my Salvadoran family. I love the food of mi gente. Sorry no pics! I inhaled every bite!
