I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience here was disappointing. The food itself was average, but what ruined the visit was the server's attitude. From the moment we sat down, they were dismissive, impatient, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Simple questions about the drink was disappointing my fruit salad juice was spoiled and she got in an argument about it, when she came back with our food she just spilled all my moms soup, she disappeared and I have to go inside the kitchen looking for her 2 time. Hospitality is just as important as the meal, and unfortunately, this restaurant failed on that front. I wouldn't recommend dining here unless management addresses the lack of respect and professionalism from their staff. I just hope the owner reads this because we are her clients since they bought that place. read more

Been coming here for several years with my family. Until recently had a good experience until this time. We got seated and our waitress took our drink orders. After that, no one came over or even looked our way. The staff was paying more attention to a larger group that was there prior to us. We were only 3 in our party. The waitress didn't place any utensils at our table or even bothered to bring us chips and salsa. We literally had to wave down who we thought was the owner or manager to get some. Our drinks were brought to us and we finished the chips, so we decided to request for another and again, we had to wave down the owner/manager and he came over to our table and I asked to please bring us another basket of chips, without any regard he immediately said "the first one is free and we would charge for a 2nd". That was very uncalled for. He could have said it in a different manner and not sound rude about it. After that my sister felt that she needed to say something and asked the waitress that she wanted to speak to the owner/manager. My sister walked with the waitress towards the hallway leading to the kitchen and she had a brief conversation with the owner/manager. At this time both my sister and manager walked over to our table and the manager apologized for the lack of service that we were experiencing and immediately attempted to offer me a free 2nd margarita. I respectfully declined. His explanation as to the lack of bad service was due to the influx of patrons that were at the restaurant. Any good waitress, manager can simply look over to a nearby table/party while taking care of another party and simply ask "are you doing ok?" Need anything? I really wanted to like this place but it wasn't good at all. The pupusas revueltas were so disappointing. The filling was literally sectioned inside. One bite was all beans, the other bite was all cheese and the other bite was all chicharrón. I took the top layer off the masa and sure enough, I could see the three ingredients in sections. First thing we noticed was that they have one side of the resturant decorated in a Salvadoran theme and the other a Mexican theme. 4 televisions with Mexican music with the sound coming from every tv and it's to loud and it echo. we mentioned it to the waitress but she did nothing. everyone in the resturant was so loud because of the tvs. They try to push the buffet brunch on you at $30 per person with only about 6 selections plus bread. This review is based solely on pick-up service, pupusas, and their service during Covid. I called in an order as soon as they opened and ordered 2-4 of every pupusa (some are not listed on the menu). I was given a 40-45 min wait time as the order was so large and they had just opened. I was advised they would call if the order was done sooner. I left to pickup and they called on my drive, perfectly completed on time, price as told over the phone, payment was easy. Everyone was in gloves and a mask, chairs were up so nobody would even wait for food, signs on the door, pick up orders arranged on a table, etc. Managing following protocol well. Best part? Every single box was labeled with the pupusas (top, middle, bottom) and we were given so much of the cabbage slaw and the salsa that we surely will not run out on our almost 30 pupusas. Everything was cooked well, hot- even when I got home, packaged well (no spilling or anything, bags tied and taped shut, etc.), there was enough inside of each pupusas and not a heavy tortilla which made it even better. When we walked in no one greeted us or even offered to seat us so we went ahead and seated ourselves. After waiting 10 minute still no one came to our table so I had to find menus for us to order. Another 20 minutes go by and finally someone come to ask for our drink order but we went ahead and ordered too. Staff was rude and very unpleasant. We waited 30 more minutes for our food. I ordered a pupusa revuelta and my mom order the desayuno típico. The pupusas weren't that great, I didn't like that they add bell peppers. And the breakfast was good minus the frijoles. They tasted funny. The ambience was very empty feeling. No music, no people, it felt like a ghost town. read more

I would probably give zero stars if I could, but the app doesn't allow me to! We went to this restaurant last weekend, and it was probably one of the worst experiences I've had. There was literally only one other family in the restaurant, and the service was super slow. When it came down to the food, they brought the incorrect order and pretty much took another 30 minutes to get me the correct one. The food was tasteless and the enchilada platter was literally cooked in the microwave. I make better enchiladas than they do! All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Extremely Rude! We arrived at 7:15 on a Saturday and they close at 8. We were seated and informed that the kitchen closes at 7:45. We promptly ordered and got our food. At 7:50, while we're in the middle of eating, they turned off the music, locked the doors and turned down the lights. By 8:05 they completely turned off the lights and my kids started crying from being scared of the dark. I had to use my flashlight to walk out of there. Luckily no one fell or got hurt, that could have been a major law suit. We told them we were going to post a bad review and they responded, "two people are not going to make me lose my restaurant for leaving a bad review". I love the inside decor but because it was an oddly warm night for late November, we opted to dine outside under the stars. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. My dad and I split a bucket of Mini Dos XX's (7 oz) - 5 for $10. Actually a better deal than a 12 oz bottle for $5. They also had wine ranging from $6 per glass to $10. My wife got a Pinot Grigio. I got a carne asada burrito and guacamole for $11 total. Hard to not fill up in chips and be careful with the house salsa. It's spiiicy! Very friendly owners who work hard for your business. I went in there on a Thursday at about 7pm it was also farmers market day ,people were out and about and I was told that it was takeout only when hours said 10-9 and there was a couple inside eating so I was confused abit but figured oh well I'll just find somewhere else who wants business , I don't understand how businesses don't utilize the blvd and patrons that do come .. it's early close to early or sorry take out only when there was someone in there eating and u don't close till 9pm? Just to add one star only so I'm able to post but this place has lousy service I ordered a Taco on my lunch and two pupusas my taco had a big large hair on it she took it back she apologized then I heard laughing in the kitchen kind of rude if you ask me but the apology wasn't sincere I will not be returning I do not recommend it they took the taco off the bill but would not even give me a refill on my drink as a courtesy they didn't discount the bill they did nothing as a courtesy just an apology and to me that's not enough when the customer service to me is for the food wasn't even that great and doesn't taste that great I do not recommend at all read more
