I have been going to Dianna for over 9 years. I drive 1.5 hours every time, just to come to her. I will not let anyone else touch my hair! Trust me - I have very thin and fine hair. Look how long and beautiful Dianna has been able to keep it for me for over 9 years! She is absolutely amazing at what she does. If you are looking for highlights or blonde, definitely go to her. She is the only one I trust - and trust me I am extremely picky. Also Sonia, her sister, does the best eyelashes!! She does permanent and eyelash extensions. She also recently created her own eye-lash strips! They are gorgeous. They are there for purchase right in the shop (see my pics)! She has many different styles, whether you want them natural looking or extremely full. My girl Sonia has lashes for you! She also does waxing and different types of facial treatments. My friend recommended me this place since he gets his haircut from this place in Gardena. He told me that he would never let other people touch his hair other than this place. So one day, I decided to take a trek down to this place in small Downtown Gardena. The friendly people are there to serve you and they did cut my hair just the way you want it. The place seems no frills, but I want to say that they do quality haircuts at a decent price. I have been to this place already twice at the time of the posting of this review, and so far I have been looking good. I went here with Diana, she was suppose to dye my hair ombré and she BURNT my hair! It was like bubble gum from the bleach not only that but it wasn't ombré it was all a mustard color. So, I came here to get my entire face waxed and it turned out fine but lots patches of my skin was ripped off and it's been 4 days and it still hurts. The people were nice, I guess. I then came to get my makeup and hair done for a quince, boy, was that a mistake. I hated how it turned out. As soon as I walked out I started crying because of how much I hated it. The picture of how I wanted my makeup to look and the end result were two completely different things. Opposite ends of the spectrum. I asked for pink, she gave me brown. I asked for natural, she gave me cakey. Honestly please just don't come here to get your makeup done! It's waaayyyyyy overpriced and I wish I can get a refund:( the hair was okay but I ended up taking it off and doing my own. It was my first time here I walked in and was not greeted or acknowledged when I walked in. The woman working there saw me and continued speaking with the customers that were already there so I sat and waited a few minutes when she finally said " hello, are you here for an appointment" I told her I was a walk in so she offered to cut my hair. Came here a week ago because I needed a trim. I just moved back from LA and didn't know where ti go and after looking on yelp and calling a few places, this seemed like the best spot. I got there and had to wait a bit, but no biggie since I was a walk-in. Once I got seated, the nice lady, Diana, asked what I wanted and I got exactly that. She didn't take off too much, knew how to manage my hair, and did a great job. The prices are also unbelievable, so make sure you tip! Lady was really trying to cater to my needs, she asked if i wanted to leave my hair long & i said yes but she cut it super short, I usually go to marios across the street but thought id gave this place a try... I came to this salon because it had good reviews. I paid $13 for a haircut w/tip. Veronica did my hair. I asked her to make my hair even all one length because I no longer wanted layers. She did a bad job. She left it uneven and she also trimmed my bangs and left them uneven as well. I would not come back here. They also just cut it and did not style it or offer to style. I do not recommend this salon. I rather pay more and get a better job done. read more

OMG where do I start? I've always come here as a kid and I always feel at home here. Everyone treats you like family. They are always looking out for the better for their customers. Dianna always intends to get you what you want but without damaging your hair or having you regret doing the new hair style or color. Eva is the old school one that loves having conversations with the customers. Veronica is the new addition but she is the best at giving haircuts and she also loves to talk. I came here for the first time to dye my hair since it's near my house. I had an appointment, but they didn't even take me in right away. The way she applied the hair dye was so weird to me it was all over the place, like she was just playing with it. I think I would've done a better job myself lol. Then this lady said she'd leave the dye for 30 minuets, but 30 minuets became 50 minuets. She was working on someone else and totally forgot about me. The last thing that bothered me was that she didn't even dried my hair right.. she literally asked me if I wanted her to blow dry it (hmmm is that even a question?) and i said yes, but I literally left with wet hair. I have been to different salons where they even style my hair afterwards without even asking lol. I think it was pricey for the kind of service I got. There were also flies everywhere and kids running around the place. A big NO NO. I left very disappointed. I mean the lady was talkative, but come on you gotta be more attentive.
