This is tough, because it was incredibly affordable and the woman seemed very nice, but my underarms are on day three and still raw to the touch. She did warn that my underarm hairs were shorter than she'd want, but then proceeded to apply multiple layers of waxing and pulling. My skin is stinging and damaged. The place felt dated and not as clean as I would have liked. But again, I looked past it for the price. Meh. I found her again by a refferal from my coworker and little did I know it was her that worked at Ziba! She does many other things to women hair, make-up and sorts. Her threading is on point! I must have gone in on one of Feri's bad days because my experience was nothing like everyone else's. I was referred here by a friend and decided to give it a shot because I needed a new place to get my eyebrows done. I walked in one afternoon and Feri gave me a pathetic greeting and I instantly felt uncomfortable, I was glad no one else was there. She sat me down and began doing her thing....we all know that threading is not that painful but it isn't completely painless either. At one point she noticed it hurt me a little and asked me with an attitude, "is this your first time?" I thought to myself did she really jus ask me that? Rude. When she finished she didn't even take the time to wipe off around my eyes, seriously? She is lucky I even gave her a tip. I was pretty devastated when I found out my waxer of 5 years at Ziba in Rancho Cucamonga quit... you can only trust so many women to look at your goodies, if you know what I mean. I've been to a couple of other places, but none of them have really blown me away. Have gone to Feri for a cut and color twice, thinking the first time that maybe it was just an off day, absolutely nothing special and way over priced, I was a repeat customer so I think she figured she didn't have to impress me anymore. The last time I was there she left me sitting in the chair for 15 - 20 minutes 3 separate times so she could do eyebrows for people who just walked in off the street. There is no doubt that when it comes to money Feri values it much more than customer satisfaction, there wasn't even a courtesy "would you mind" she just left me sitting there with color in my hair till she was done with the eyebrows. Kinda sloppy. I am used to Brazilian this time it was really painful and hurtful. But well, if she gets the job done the pain is worth it, right? This is the worst place ever for a Brazilian wax. I got rashes all over my private area, it's bleeding and it hurts me so much that I can't even walk or sit properly. I don't know how she is with other customers but with me she wasn't too friendly. I've been to salons before for wax, the person who does your waxing talks to you so you don't feel the pain but Feri was just busy pulling the wax strips so hard that i had to literally stop her at the end..cz I couldn't take the pain..not because I was a newbie in getting the Brazilian.
