I would definitely recommend Neon Dog to anyone in the area looking for a great store and groomer. Not only do they have amazing products in the store that you can't find anywhere else in the area (treats/leashes/toys etc.) but they also do an amazing job grooming for a very reasonable price compared to a lot of groomers in the neighborhood! The staff was incredible and took the time to ask when I arrived how I wanted my dog groomed and it was so obvious the care they put into making both me and my dog comfortable. Seriously having been to other places in the area no need to go anywhere else this place has it all! Also the vibe of the store is very cool it's not like a traditional groomer and dog store it's very welcoming and inviting! Finally glad to have a reliable and caring groomer and store! Since Yelp deleted my review, I will definitely post it again 10000% recommend to everyone! My husband and I were looking into a grooming around Norwalk after moving from VA. I have to say that this spot should be everyone's go to for your pups and cats! Got to meet the awesome staff and cute Isabella , groomer is so great with my Bandit and even gave us tips that were super helpful. While our dog was having his grooming session, we had a variety of things to look at for dogs, cats and of course, humans! After his session, he got his cute photo shoot with his name on their board and we felt like our pup was given the all star treatment here! We had a fantastic experience at Neon Dog with our dogs, Chloe and Kali. Their groomer, Jody, was professional, friendly, and really took the time to listen to exactly how we wanted them groomed. She was gentle with both dogs and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Chloe and Kali looked absolutely adorable afterward! The customer service was just as impressive--the woman at the front desk (I wish I caught her name!) was welcoming, helpful, and made check-in and pick-up super smooth. I met neon dog at the new canaan holiday market, talked to them about my concerns with groomers - they told me that the dogs don't wait in cages and that they'd recommend for my puppy just a bath to start (we have a golden retriever pup). Scheduled a bath for my puppy before the holiday - the place is nice and clean and cute shopping in the front. They offered the right service based on what I selected. I dropped her off and got a text when she'd be ready. They were transparent about her not liking the blow dryer (again, puppy) and that she did well otherwise. So happy I found them! I was trying to find a groomer for a same day weekend appointment in Norwalk. I was getting laughed at until I called Neon. They actually answered my call on the first attempt and we got in that day with a cancellation (next appointment was in a couple days which compared to everywhere else I called was so much better). They were courteous and treated our pup nicely seeing how this was her first grooming experience at 5 months. Cali came out looking great and like a totally new pup. We brought our Black Lab to Neon Dog today, and he left looking (and smelling!) absolutely amazing. He enjoyed a soothing aloe and oatmeal bath, a thorough wash, perfectly trimmed nails, plus teeth brushing and an ear cleaning. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly goes the extra mile with every detail. He always looks forward to visiting his friends there, and it's clear how much they care about him. The team at Neon Dog are very professional and competent. As important, they are great with my dog. She loves going there to be groomed, and when they bring her out for pickup, she is always frisky. wagging her tail and smiling as only a happy Golden Retriever can. Their grooming is perfect. I would recommend their de-shedding option for any Goldens or similar chronic shedders. It is very effective. All in all, i am very happy withm their excellent service. We had an excellent experience at Neon Dog with our toy poodle puppy's first groom. They listened to what we wanted and gave great professional advice. We loved our puppy's cut, and she left the salon with her tail wagging. Beyond that, they pointed out a cyst that we were able to get checked out by the vet (she's gonna be fine!) so we're extra grateful for their attention to detail and genuine care toward dogs. It is easy to make an appointment for grooming. They did a fantastic job with my two cocker spaniels. The groomers ask what you'd like and then ask follow up questions to be sure they understand what you are looking for. They text you when your dogs are 15 minutes away from finishing so I feel like I didn't have to worry about my dogs having to wait around. I felt like they were kind and great with my dogs too! Our havanese puppy banks was washed and blown out at the neon dog this past weekend and we had a wonderful experience! they were very knowledgeable and he looked fluffy and beautiful at pick up. most importantly he was happy as could be when we picked him up which means he felt safe and comfortable as well. I always have great experiences here, and love their merch. my puppy hates being groomed and is scared going in but happy coming out, and that means a lot. I've had cuts with many of their groomers and never been disappointed. what I particularly love is being able to make an appointment for the same week online instead of having to schedule months in advance. read more
