One night a few weeks ago, I went to Sideways bar to just zone out and have a few beers. I paid with my credit card but tipped in cash like I usually do. When my total was updated, it said I tipped $10. I was a bit confused but without proof and possible user error I didn't really do anything. If they did steal the $10 from me they needed it more than i do. I went back the other night and it was a different bartender. I was on guard though so I took a pic of my receipt and sure enough, this bartender changed the tip from $4 to $8. I could almost understand this behavior if I was a non tipper, but I had 2 beers and sat at the bar. And still tipped $4. Thats plenty. If you go to this bar beware. read more

She was arguing with a customer about a bill and went on to say he is a continued problem. If that was the case limit this repeated customer to one or two drinks then send them on their way. been coming to this bar for a while and lots of complaints from others that they charge other people's drinks on the wrong peoples tabs! So let me sum it up! I always pay cash there I've used my card on several occasions but the most I've put on my tab/card was 7 dollars! A few weeks ago I noticed a 61$ charge on my card. Mind you I don't even drink I go to hang with some family member. I had my bank investigate the charge and it came back deemed in my favor, now let's fast forward to last week me and my bf pulled up there and we were immediately approached by the owner Debbi who completely embarrassed us by pulling up the notice bank sent her and immediately she accused of fraud, this owner is so unprofessional she began to send out mass text messages to staff members in a group chat saying that if we come to bar we are only allowed cash. Fast forward a week later we go to bar and me and my bf walked in and now the owners husband Dennis confronts us yet again publicly humiliated us over 61$ when we've spent so much money there. He began to tell us in front of other customers that our cards were no good there and we thought we were slick with the scam we pulled! At this point I'm like what's up with the unprofessionalism? I proceeded to go outside and ask the owner Debbi for a moment of her time privately . I told her that the way she handling the sitUstinov very unprofessional and that I felt like we were being attacked every time we come in now and that's it's not right to smud peoples names! She began to yell at me and point her finger in my face! I told her to get her finger out my face and to act professionally but what can you exp when the owners are drunk too??? I normally wouldn't care or make a stink but they have racially profiled us at this place because we are an interracial couple. I've actually helped behind the bar cleaning and washing dishes to help them out before and I've never asked them for nothin! Dennis also came out and started yelling at me saying because of me they now have lost points for their business I told them ain't no way this has never happened before because literally customers there have complained about being overcharge! the bartender even said it happens all the time! I'll tell you this if I don't drink and there's no way my bf going to drink 11 drinks that fast That tab was bs! the owners didn't handle this situation with integrity by sending out group texts and telling others at the bar that we scammed them for 61$ lol that's funny to me! Came into this dirty establishment on Thursday to witness 2 employees and a customer yell at a disabled handicapped person to get out the bar. When i asked the owner why said person was not allowed in the bar he said it was because "he's always asking for water." When I told them to stop yelling at him Mike one of the bartenders who was there to drink proceeded to yell at him. Mike was a pissed off bitch that someone stood up for the disabled guy in the wheelchair. I asked the guy in the wheelchair to follow me outside because I know him. The guy in the wheelchair who is also very disabled followed me outside the door when mike proceeded to say "if you wont get the fuck out ill make you get out" and tried pushing the disabled guy out into the sidewalk when he was already outside the bar. Cindy the ugly bartender defended mikes actions and when i asked who's going to call the police to make a report that a handicapped person with special needs got assaulted in the bar she looked more stupid than she already does. After talking to several people about these events they all said that that place is weird and racist. Explains a lot. This place need shut down asap!!!! read more
