The ULTIMATE home & gifts shop in North Peoria - one of the originals honestly! It's filled to the brim with classic pieces and accessories as well as amazing gifts. I really like their little plant section in the back of the store. They also host seasonal events from time to time although I haven't gone to one yet. Originally came on a Sunday which they are closed to prepare inventory for thr following week. I came back Monday while in the area. I found the shop to be super cute. The employees let you shop at your leisure, if you have any questions just ask. They are super friendly. I didn't find anything that spoke to me though I almost fell over walking in when I saw Pasha the horse art on the wall. I stated "Pasha" and she knew exactly what I was talking about. It photographs much better than it looks in person, but I am still in love. I saw one at another store that was already pending pick up so I have been scouting out another. I would not do business with this store. We purchased a couch that was said to be coming in in 3 weeks. There was one on the floor but we were given a choice to take one coming in...but then 2 weeks later we got a call from Ivana that the price is now $300+ more. She was so rude and tried to tell us the price we paid was for the one on the floor(but nothing about that on the tag). We were expecting the one one coming and had placed a $1400 deposit. We even have a voicemail from Cassie (transcript voice to text is Kathy) that she spoke to Robyn and we would get the one coming in about 3 weeks. Ivana says that Cassie did not talk to Robyn and Robyn never said that. However we have the recording and transcript that she did talk to Robyn. Sooo who is lying Ivana or Robyn??? The other people working in the store know they were wrong but couldn't do anything. Camden was very nice but hands tied. They gave our money back but would not honor the price they gave us for the couch coming in. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ROBYN'S NEST ESPECIALLY IVANA! #robynsnesthome @robynsnesthome. Robyn replied on my Google review was a misunderstanding. NO it was misrepresentation. Otherwise why wait 3 weeks for a new one to come in and why no mention of higher price on one coming in (transcript is of voicemail from Cassie having TALKED to Robyn). It may have been a mistake but should have admitted that instead of stating was a misunderstanding. We were prepared to buy more from the store and now we will not do business with them and hope that there are others who may hesitate or not do business with them either. read more

My husband and I were just shopping Around at different stores today and we decided to pop in, and let me just say I am so happy we did. There were two beautiful ladies there when we were checking out that helped make our shopping experience so special. We are 5 months pregnant with our first baby and a cute swaddle and cuddler caught my eye I just had to have it for our baby. This was our very FIRST purchase we have ever made for our sweet bundle. I went to the register and after the friendly hello from the lady's and their awe over how adorable this set was.... I start crying like a baby. They made me feel so happy I wouldn't trade this experience for the world! I have to say we will be back again very soon. WOW Talk about a community. read more

I don't write reviews because people are usually jerks well.. here I am. I cannot wrap my brain around a store that sells furniture yet does not allow you to actually sit on said furniture. What kind of business model is that? Are we to buy the furniture and bring it home in order to try it out? Please help me understand the reasoning for this? To literally put signs on the furniture asking patrons not to sit on the furniture that's for sale is frankly hilarious. How very Seinfeld of you guys. Unfortunately, this place has very nice things to look at but do not touch anything!! LOL Get over yourselves, it's North Peoria. Came here last night for the Grand Opening Celebration - what a special night! This store has some wonderfully unique pieces and everything is so well priced! It was so nice to roam around the store - which I did no less than 5 times. And each time I saw something I hadn't seen before! I picked out a really beautiful painting for my living room wall and know I will find many other unique pieces as they say they change out inventory frequently as things sell. Came to Robyn's Nest for a specific need for unique but stylish furniture, at a good price! Let me tell you, I found it here! This place is much bigger than what meets the eye at the front door too, so many great pieces and never before seen (for me) decorative items. The store is very welcoming... when we walked in we were greeted by a nice man (who I assumed was Mr Robyn) who just let us roam around and made himself available for questions in case we had any. No pushy sales people and excellent customer service. I also noticed that they keep up with the seasons, they must have a big inventory and are always changing out certain sections of the floor for certain items (or their items sell so fast.) We found a great art wall piece that is a custom painting at an extremely fair price. Also, the couches and chairs are very nice with surprisingly great prices. I'd highly recommend this place as your go to spot for all furniture and decorative needs. read more

I went into this store to buy a vase and had Madison(?) helping me. She was so sweet and helpful when helping me and really trying to find something for my formal dining table. They had a décor class going when i walked in, as we were talking, Robyn (I believe was her name) told us to "shhh and go to the back of the store". I couldn't believe a store would tell a customer to shh it and move it to the back. Considering this store is higher end and no I was not dolled up with a LV like the women in the class but I'm still a paying customer. After that my son was waking from his nap and was getting a little fussy in the stroller making noises. So then I was rushing cause i did not want to be lectured again over a baby being a baby. After all that happened iI then had to walk by all the women dolled up to leave the store and felt ashamed i looked like a new mom walking out of the store without make up. I ended up calling and the associate apologized but just be ware if there's a class going don't go into the store especially with a baby. read more
