I had my first ever wax here yesterday with Anna and what a delight it was - which seems odd of a thing to say. But it's true! Truly! I had psyched myself up for a painful time. While it wasn't NOT painful, it wasn't remotely as bad as I expected. Anna was super nice, informative and patient with me as I told her I was nervous. The place gave accepting and chill vibes. I wish I could give 6 stars, truly this place has changed my image of what a quality wax boutique experience can be like! Every detail was done so flawlessly. I was greeted by my waxer Amanda within seconds of walking in the door. She took me to my room in a wonderfully decorated space, the bed was SO comfy! Amanda brought professionalism to every moment without losing her sense of humor and made the entire experience genuinely fun! She was impeccable; asked every question that a waxer should before ever touching my skin, and knowledgeable about how to handle each of my personal variables. I'm a bit nerdy and she fully indulged my interest in all the products they used; which blew me away with the quality! Absolutely peak quality wax and oils, on a level I have never seen in another waxing location, for even the MOST sensitive skin! Which is super important for me because I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and my skin is extremely sensitive and abnormally easily torn on a molecular level so when I say that I walked away with HAPPY, not irritated, skin after a full Brazilian wax, please know how remarkable this is! I have walked out of waxing appointments at other businesses bleeding on many occasions. Not only was Amanda exceptional in her knowledge and manner, she was thorough! I have lighter hair and generally have to point out missed patches to get a clean finish but when I checked everything -- NO NOTES! Then to top it all off she had an aftercare kit for me when I was checking out! And if all of that doesn't tell you how wonderful and wildly above standard quality this was, I was in and out in 22 minutes flat. read more

I have been here before and had a great experience but last night I had Kari for a Brazilian wax and it was the most painful wax I've ever had in my life and I'm no stranger to getting everything waxed off down there. Today I am left with burns in multiple spots (pictured was just the most appropriate) or maybe my skin is just ripped off but I'm still in pain. I can't pee or wear underwear comfortably because my skin is so raw and injured. On top of that so much hair on my inner and outer "lips" was left behind because she did not move anything around or ask me to adjust my position to get where she needed. There was enough hair left, I'm talking LONG pieces that it would have been worth my time to go back in and have them fix it but I'd rather bend over and scrunch myself into a ball where I can't breathe at 24 weeks pregnant and pluck it myself than go back and let her try again with the hot wax when I'm still in so much pain from raw skin. Giving three stars because the environment is clean and welcoming. Even my two year old sat and waited with my boyfriend comfortably in the lobby while I was getting waxed. I've had a great experience here before with a different waxer (I wish I could remember her name) and also because Kari was very nice but I definitely won't be trusting her with the most sensitive part of my body again. read more

I had my first wax today after 4 months of grow out, and was really impressed. I loved how clean the place was, and how calm and peaceful the lobby was. Some of my favorite things: They have a giant bathroom/changing area with baby wipes they provide, body spray, tampons etc! They have baby wipes in the room with coconut oil and after wax cream that was nice and different than what I'm used too. Instead of regular paper on the waxing bed they have nice disposable sheets. Way more sanitary and comfortable. The whole experience was really good and I'm looking forward to my next wax. read more

Well here I was, in a new city, needing a wax, so after searching yelp, I found this gem! I've had many wax experiences, and this was right up there with the best! They used a wax alternative I wasn't familiar with, and it's a strip wax type, which scared me at first, but it was completely fine! Not the scary stringy stuff at all! My favorite part(after the non pain part) is that the room, wax pot, trash area, etc, was super clean, even though she (Kari) just finished with another client! She of course changed the sheet in the bed, and no double-dipping here! I also really appreciate the extra care she took to press the skin immediately after strip being pulled. It helps so much!!!!!
