It stated no materials would be needed. So just labor. It did have a $250 hourly rate for removal for "clearing of landscape" but again not labor. I called and asked for the hourly rate of labor and the time necessary for completion. I believe her name was Jennifer, she told me that they do not provide hourly rates and she would need to speak with a supervisor. When she came back on the phone she asked me exactly what my questions were about the estimate even though I just explained them to her. I explained again. She became aggitated and accused me of being difficult and then said "maybe we are not the company for you." I had the same work performed by another company for $460.00 and it was on my property for a little over an hour. Always get an hourly rate. Always get a time for completion which the ROC requires in each contract. GET AN HOURLY RATE and TIME TO COMPLETE...otherwise you are probably signing a blank check to Elrod.
