Told me my injury wasn't on a CT scan given 4 weeks after the injury, in addition to the fact that concussions generally don't show on MRI or CT scans - as confirmed by another doctor. He has absolutely no bed side manner. Does not care about anything more than getting paid for what he "should" say. Patient care is the least of his concern. He clearly worked with my workers comp insurance company - which is why I had to wait weeks for a consult in the first place. Barely gave me an exam but instead interrogated me about the happenings of the accident that I had already been over with my adjuster and frankly had nothing to do with him. He should have been focused on my injuries. He had no regard for my symptoms or anything else. I was warned about him being a quack before I got there. On my follow up I barely sat down for 15 seconds before he was shooing me out of his office with no information on my work status or anything else. Would not recommend him to anyone. No idea how he has any awards in his office because he was AWFUL.

I never felt rushed, as he gave my husband and I his undivided attention. He looked through the labs and other test results that I took him, and viewed them as important to consider in my case. He thoroughly studied my CT and MRI scans, and was even able to identify issues previously missed. He showed my husband and I on a large screen exactly what he was seeing on the scans. I have also heard wonderful things about all of the neurologists here. This practice is located across from Baptist Medical Center Downtown in the Aetna Building. There are some really beautiful views of downtown and the river from their offices. The only negative thing I have to say about this practice is that there is always a wait. It's not uncommon for the wait to be up to an hour. So, bring a book, your iPad, etc. Just plan accordingly. Also, you cannot just call her and make an appointment. Even if you have insurance that doesn't require you to go through your primary care doctor to see a specialist, this practice still requires you to have a referral from your primary care doctor. It's also impossible to get them on the phone immediately whether it's to make an appointment, get med refills, etc. You'll have to leave a message. However, they are excellent at calling you back ASAP. I highly recommend Dr. Asad and this practice for your neurology needs.
