The restaurant portion serves from pretty good hot food, such as their cheese biscuits and sausage egg biscuits, and the drinks are cold and ready. It's located at the corner of an intersection at the edge of Kinston so there's two ways in and out, and the area stays well light.

But my uneducated guess is that if the gas tax in NC is a quarter less a gallon then in PA, I wager I paid less here so two thumbs up on this one. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No runs, no hits and no errors. Just a basic pump and run. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Not too far off of 70 on our way to 795 so a winner on this one as well. Human intervention needed? Thankfully, no. Three star gas station bliss achieved!!!
