When there are no construction zones, this beltway/ freeway is very convenient to use. I use this…read morefor the majority of my Commute; every morning and every afternoon. But beware of the Speedies and beware of the Slow-mo's; there is no "in between" here. I have a driver monitoring app in order to get my Insurance discount, so I am trying to stay in between a certain speed. So, I can't help the hard brakes when it is the Necessary option to avoid a car accident. I know it's tough, living in Las Vegas, with all the crazy driving, but if you are paying attention while you drive, there should be no trouble. This includes, in no particular order, no cell phone use, keeping your vehicle's gas tank filled, using your signals, and checking your blind spots. When there was heavy Construction, instead of entering at Russell, I entered on Decatur. But that isn't an issue anymore. And also the Peace Way Bridge is now open. There was a lot of slowing starting at the bend, before the Russell exit. No problem anymore.

Nevermind that. that was too complicated. 215 takes you just about anywhere around Vegas, excerpt the Strip. That's what the 95 is for. It's also practically a big "U" so you'll come around.. Or get lost and end up in Kanye's Flashing Lights music video.. Eventually. Click it or ticket? Yelp it and check in!

Excellent pizzeria in town. If you're looking for pizza with some seriously thick crust, then this…read moreis where it's at. Driving on Blue Diamond, my GPS told me to turn left onto a street called Warbonnet rather than turn left at the light at Cimarron just further up the road. I was confused when it told me that at first, but there is actually a street to the right from Blue Diamond called Warbonnet, and I guess it connects (not really) from there. Still easy to access from the main road, though. This is located directly behind an apartment complex along with other numerous businesses. We ordered the five cheese pesto pizza and the Sicilian style tater tots. The latter is something that we haven't heard of or tried yet, so we chose to get this as our sides as we were curious about what it would look and taste like. The pizza included spinach on the inside and ricotta cheese and pepperoni on the outside. We had decided to add pepperoni on top for extra flavor. The Sicilian tater tots were a unique one to us and I'm very happy that we got them. They were exactly like regular tater tots, but they had that real Italian feel to them. They were very crunchy and had numerous spices included inside. If you have leftovers, there are instructions provided on how to reheat them correctly inside the box. To them, it's suggested that you reheat your pizza inside of a skillet on a stovetop so that you can have all that melty cheese again. I really want to come back here again. Great find!

The pizza is phenomenal. Perfectly crisp crust, rich and flavorful sauce, and high-quality toppings that taste fresh and well-balanced. You can tell they know exactly what they're doing--this is real, old-school pizza done right. Service was friendly, fast, and welcoming. The staff makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time in. The whole experience feels genuine, not forced. If you're looking for legit, classic pizza with great flavor and a laid-back atmosphere, this place is a must. Easily one of the best pizza spots around. Will definitely be coming back.

Over the past month, I've dined here midweek three times alone at the bar. Last night I had beef…read moretartare followed by bolognese served with fresh-made paccheri. Both were outstanding. The tartare was authentically Italian, made simply with EVOO and light seasoning to let the tender and flavorful beef shine through and accompanied with shaved Parmesan. The bolognese was the best I've ever eaten, boldly seasoned but with all flavors harmoniously balanced. The paccheri was perfectly cooked. On previous visits I've enjoyed Roman-style artichokes, Utica greens (very tasty but greens a bit stringy), shrimp and squid fra diavolo (shrimp were outstanding but the squid could have been a bit more tender), and beef cheek ragu with pappardelle. Despite a few minor flaws, all were full flavored, well made, and rivaled some of the finest meals I've had during times spent in Italy. Prices are a bit high for an off-strip locale but justified by the obvious high quality of the ingredients used, skillful and authentic preparation, and the warmth and professional level of service. Glad I discovered this place and already looking forward to my next visit.
