Excellent pizzeria in town. If you're looking for pizza with some seriously thick crust, then this is where it's at. Driving on Blue Diamond, my GPS told me to turn left onto a street called Warbonnet rather than turn left at the light at Cimarron just further up the road. I was confused when it told me that at first, but there is actually a street to the right from Blue Diamond called Warbonnet, and I guess it connects (not really) from there. Still easy to access from the main road, though. This is located directly behind an apartment complex along with other numerous businesses. We ordered the five cheese pesto pizza and the Sicilian style tater tots. The latter is something that we haven't heard of or tried yet, so we chose to get this as our sides as we were curious about what it would look and taste like. The pizza included spinach on the inside and ricotta cheese and pepperoni on the outside. We had decided to add pepperoni on top for extra flavor. The Sicilian tater tots were a unique one to us and I'm very happy that we got them. They were exactly like regular tater tots, but they had that real Italian feel to them. They were very crunchy and had numerous spices included inside. If you have leftovers, there are instructions provided on how to reheat them correctly inside the box. To them, it's suggested that you reheat your pizza inside of a skillet on a stovetop so that you can have all that melty cheese again. I really want to come back here again. Great find! read more

We were happy when they finished building the old school pizzeria near us a few years ago. The staff is always polite when we stop in. We normally do the slice special. Their pizza is really tasty and you can tell they use fresh ingredients and it's all homemade. Their knots are never a disappointment nor is their meatballs. I have eaten from this restaurant at least a couple of dozen times and the last 5-6 I have noticed a steep decline in details. The food is still good, but lacking in some way that it never used to. Today for instance, my pizza had so much sauce on it that despite being slightly burned, it was floppy and soggy. The salad was good today, but not so the last few times, in the recent past leaves have been rusted on the ends and tomatoes have been past their prime. A few weeks ago when I went in and ordered, I sat as close as you can to the register, and was not told my order was ready. I was the only person in the restaurant. I do understand that they get to go orders, so I did understand they were busy, but by the time I asked about my order, the pizzas were cool and the salad room temp. Last time I had old school pizzeria was at their original location back in. 2016. I remember someone raving about their crust being unique. Here we are 9 years later. The young man at the cashier was so helpful and knowledgeable. I even heard someone telling him on the phone he should be promoted and be a manager. Give this young man a promotion, because he did a fantastic job helping pick the best pizza. Vegas meets Italy was my fave. And the other two friends who were originally uninterested and didn't want to order this ended up being their favorite. Pork reigns was WAY porky for me. Classic combo was my second fave. It's like a gourmet, fresher ingredient version. I'm a sucker for pizza crust. This crust will not be my all time fave crust in town. It's... fine. Food is good. Ambiance is good, too, even though there's no menu on a wall for a place that requires you to see what they got - it's a decently varied menu! But for my money - I was just convinced that $50 would have gone a little further. So we decided to order for delivery with high hopes of having a pie that would make my taste buds do a happy dance. Barely visible, like they were too shy to make an appearance. We ordered a hot pepper and prosciutto, but I think they just forgot and threw it on after they barely sliced it into six, I mean eight, triangles of despair, and called it a day. And the ranch? Oh, the ranch. They sent two tiny cups of it, which, when combined, barely filled one. I guess they figured if the pizza wasn't going to give me joy, at least the ranch could keep me *mildly* entertained while I choked it down like a desert breeze with each bite. In summary, if you're looking for a pizza experience that's only a step above Domino's and about five steps away from a restaurant actually trying, then *Old School Pizzeria* is your place. The garlic knots were superb! Fresh, garlicky, soft, and buttery. We have ordered here many times and have enjoyed their pizzas. We have had their Carnivore and Vegas Meets Italy pizzas. Placed an order on 3/12/25. I ordered a regular size pizza and knots. It was my first time trying their Regina Margherita pizza. Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to love their margherita pizza, honestly it was just okay. It was lacking flavor. I had to add a little salt, crushed peppers, and parm cheese. And I'm the kind who usually doesn't like to add salt. I wished it also had more basil as it didn't have much. It needed that. Also, it was kind of burnt as you can see in the photos. Those parts were inedible. The order was around $33 with tip I think. At least my order was ready when I got there. When I asked for some cheese and crushed pepper packets, they had it already in a bag which I thought was thoughtful. There were a few ranch dressings in it too.
